And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Perhaps Susan will be making facepacks out of pineapple and oatmeal? Cant think what would be worse otherwise....

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 24/10/2016 09:44

From Neil's point of view, what would be worse is probably making him drink whatever it is that Susan's blending. I'm guessing nettle smoothies.

*Radio Times
29th October to 4th November

Rob begins his new job as Justin's right-hand man by throwing his weight around at Home Farm. He finds fault with Adam's work – and isn't interested in Adam's view that it's too soon to judge. Expect further ructions when Brian points out to Adam that should Justin lose faith, they could lose the contract.

Alistair's plan to sell his vet practice to a larger operation is disrupted by visitor at the stables who'd like to make another offer. Shula's impressed but Alistair is not sure this option is viable.

For light relief, Susan's quest for the perfect family photographer continues. Don't get too excited, though. She isn't impressed by one of the Aldridges' recommendations.*

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 24/10/2016 18:37

What, if anything, does Rob actually know about things like arable farming? Running a highly mechanised dairy farm is hardly comparable.

Gumpendorf · 25/10/2016 14:43

*25 Oct. Shula wants Alistair to reconsider, and Neil gets in the mood.
26 Oct. Rex delivers a final blow, and Jazzer muscles in.
27 Oct. Helen doubts her actions, and Kate delegates all responsibility.
28 Oct. Rob finds someone who will listen, and Toby seeks inspiration.

30 Oct There is a visitor at the Stables, and Alice is clutching at straws.
31 Oct. Adam struggles to be heard, and Pip pleads with Rex.
1 Nov. Toby searches high and low, and Kenton plans a surprise.
2 Nov Brian offloads his concerns, and Susan has a nose round Home Farm.
3 Nov. Rob needles at any opportunity, and Roy gets back in the game.
4 Nov Rex has the final word, and Kirsty despairs at the panto audition.

6 Nov. Toby has a new toy, and Susan is insulted.
7 Nov. Lilian has an unwanted phone call, and Brian badgers Adam.
8 Nov. Justin comes clean, and Alistair has company.
9 Nov. Johnny seeks out Freddie, and David lends an ear.
10 Nov. Rob is forced to rethink, and Pip is made to be guinea pig.
11 Nov. Justin shows his cards, and Jazzer makes a point.*

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 25/10/2016 14:56

I do hope Justin coming clean and Rob being forced to rethink are connected in some way, ideally with a decision to tell Rob he's sacked.

PuppetInParadize · 25/10/2016 20:31

Pipsqueak as a guinea pig? No. And who will phone Fagash? Not Matt or else it wouldn't be unwanted? Maybe a request from Knob?? And I hope NO slurping on the 3rd.

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/10/2016 21:13

I think it will be Justin's wife. Hopefully, he will depart soon (to spend more time with his family) thus clearing the decks for the return of Tiger.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 29 OCT - 4 NOV 2016

Rob's ill-judged Halloween costume gets the thumbs down from revellers at The Bull fancy dress event.

Rob is soon rubbing Adam up the wrong way in his new capacity as estates manager.

Alistair is suspicious of a prospective buyer for his vet practice, but Shula is keen.

Toby impresses Pip with his foraging skills.

Susan is eager to organise a family photo and noses around the Home Farm collection, much to Brian's embarrassment.

When Brian directs her to a recent ruby wedding anniversary snap, she's secretly unimpressed, but that's the least of his worries.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 26/10/2016 08:31

Thanks, Gump, for the new spoilers. Hmmm. Too much to hope that Rob is going to get his cards, I suppose. I'm intrigued by the mention of a fancy dress costume in what I've just posted. Could it possibly be a Plarchers reference and he will go as Dracula? Grin Or Bluebeard or Jack the Ripper?

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 26/10/2016 09:47

Perhaps Rob will turn up with a comedy knife in his stomach and loads of stage blood mixed with custard, in another attempt to portray himself as victim.

It's Super Heroes and Villains isn't it? He'll either go as 'himself' (hero) or Helen (villain). Either would be great.

BoreOfWhabylon · 26/10/2016 16:43

Oh god, is Knob going to become one of those fathers for justice types?

The ones who dress as superheroes and then pull stupid stunts?

Actually, he is exactly the type who joins that sort of group, isn't he?

Radio Times
4-11 November

*Unlikely pairings seem to be a bit of a theme in Ambridge at the moment, but knocking odd couple Jim and Jazzer into the shadows is the double act of Kate and Lynda . Each bonkers in their own loveable way, neither is particularly given to making compromises – so clearly a match made in drama heaven when it comes to codirecting the Christmas show. Lynda is aiming for something with "tone" but Kate's thoughts are beginning to turn in the direction of something Simon Cowell might recognise.

Talking of pantomime villains, Rob's got wind of the fact that one of Amside's properties is vacant and is interested in having a look. Which leaves Lillian speechless… Though not for long.*

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 01/11/2016 10:42

Thanks Gump. It's really annoying that Lilian is either the subject of forgetful SWs or is just a git, not saying anything to Justin during pillow talk that she's not comfortable with his cosiness with the man who repeatedly raped her niece!

LikeDylanInTheMovies · 01/11/2016 16:56

6 Nov. Toby has a new toy

Vibrating butt plug?

TOTAL TV GUIDE 5 - 11 NOVEMBER 2016

After meeting the doctor conducting Rob's psychological report, Helen frets that he may have permanently damaged Henry and Jack, but Lillian offers reassurance.

How will Lillian react when Rob asks about renting an Amside property, especially when she learns Justin put him up to it? Their 'arrangement' must be on rocky ground.

Adam's hopes of impressing local farmers with his herbal leys are underminded by Brian's tetchy attitude to the visitors, but he doesn't want to burden Ian with his worries.

Kate hits a big problem casting the Christmas show. Can she pull it off, or will the annual institution have to be scrapped?

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/11/2016 18:40

Thanks Gasp0
But whyohwhyohwhy would a doctor appointed by a court to conduct a psychological assessment share his/her findings with the subject's soon-to-be-ex wife?

OP posts:
selsigfach · 03/11/2016 19:47

Because the report was to be used to decide on ongoing access arrangements between Rob and Jack. Hopefully, if outed as a complete psychopath, Rob's access will be withdrawn.

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/11/2016 20:39

Yes but "after meeting the doctor conducting Rob's psychological report" doesn't sound like this was the Dr reporting back to the court.

OP posts:
enochroot · 04/11/2016 14:56

I suppose the doctor might have needed to assess Henry and Jack too and that would involve meeting Helen. Helen might jump to conclusions without the doctor revealing her findings.
