And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

TOTAL TV GUIDE 15 - 21 OCTOBER 2016

Tensions have been simmering between the Fairbrothers for some times now, which had made life tricky for Bert.

They have been studiously avoiding one another, but when Rex and Toby meet accidentally at The Bull, there's a long-overdue spectacular showdown that quickly becomes the talk of Ambridge.

Is their relationship ever likely to get back on track?

Rob is still persona non grata in the village, but he's not going anywhere.

Pat and Tony tally up the cost of all the recent legal proceedings and are shocked at what they find.

Pip is taken aback by Jill's despite for Toby. What is her problem?
*

Not sure there is a noun despite, but we all know what it means.

Totally agree it will do no good for P&T to keep things from H&T. Have they learned nothing?

TheAntiBoop · 11/10/2016 18:31

Surely Peggy would pitch in

As for Rex and Toby falling out. Yawn.

And Jill can hate whoever she likes!!

BlossomHillOne · 16/10/2016 04:35

Maybe we'll find out more about Brighton?

selsigfach · 16/10/2016 10:11

I came on to see if there was any hint along the lines of "..and Kirsty has some shock news". Surely she'd have found out by now if she is pregnant? Must have been at least a month now since her and Tom had their night of passion.

ZuleikaDobson · 16/10/2016 20:40

I can't see Kirsty slipping up on the contraception, really.

Mootsie · 16/10/2016 20:56

I think Pat will want Helen to think again about going to BHC in person to pick up their things.

selsigfach · 17/10/2016 13:27

That would be great, Mootsie.

Gumpendorf · 17/10/2016 14:57

30 Oct There is a visitor at the Stables, and Alice is clutching at straws.

TheAntiBoop · 17/10/2016 15:12

So rob visits the stables?

Rex isn't exactly making himself attractive to pip!! I guess he is pulling the plug on the business?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/10/2016 15:59

Interim editor working fast to get rid of Rex'n'Tobes before the new chap starts? Grin

Thaks, Gump!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/10/2016 16:00

Sigh. Thanks.

Gumpendorf · 17/10/2016 18:29

Radio Times
22 October to 28 October

Rob gripes about seeing Jack/ Gideon mid week and points out to Tony he'll soon be working full time. Tony's not interested in seeking a solution, but Rob does find a friendly ear in Ambridge willing to hear his troubles.

After last weeks quarrel, things are no better between the Fairbrothers – can Rex rid himself of his unreliable brother or will Toby have the upper hand?

And Alice feels Lynda's shoes by taking on casting the village's Christmas show with great gusto. By Friday, the whole of the Grundy family has been signed up, with promises of solo turns in the limelight. But expect Eddie to be incensed when he discovers the title of this year's production.

Writer : Joanna Toye

Gumpendorf · 17/10/2016 18:32

Oh I do hope so, Gasp0de. They really do take up far too much storyline.

I'm thinking Rob's listener might be Alan who is in the cast list.....

Gumpendorf · 17/10/2016 18:33

And obviously Alice fills Lynda's shoes. Doh!

KingscoteStaff · 17/10/2016 19:34

Eddie the Eagle, the Musical?

Fink · 17/10/2016 19:55

The Elves and the Shoemaker?

BoreOfWhabylon · 18/10/2016 08:20

Shrek?

OP posts:
LeninaCrowne · 18/10/2016 10:42

Cold Comfort Farm, the Musical, with Joe playing the "dame" part of Old Aunt Ada Doom, Kate playing Flora Poste the busybody, Toby playing Seth Starkadder, Bert playing Adam, Rob playing Urk and Susan playing Judith.

StiginaGrump · 18/10/2016 10:47

But Pip just makes the whole brothers at war thing so implausible. She is about as alluring as a squirt of domestos. I seem to remember that the Emma and brothers at war was rendered conceivable by the fact that they could all act!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 18/10/2016 10:52

Who on earth will be Rob's sympathetic ear? Alan is possible... or Justin?

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 11:18

I guess rob will be auditioning!!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/10/2016 12:33

TOTAL TV GUIDE 22 - 28 0CTOBER 2016

Rob's midweek contact time with baby Jack will need to be rescheduled once he's back at work, but he can't expect any favours from Tony.

The relationship is equally fractured between Toby and Rex, who've hit rock bottom. Can they mend fences before it's a permanent rift?

Susan's indiscreet gossiping about Helen's private life reaches the wrong ears, and her diet regime is taking its toll on Neil.

When Neil discovers his wife busy with the blender, he suspects another low-calorie soup, but the truth is worse.

Alice starts casting the Christmas show - with limited success ....

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 13:23

Susan has started blending her own body parts?

What does she gossip about I wonder

Stickerrocks · 18/10/2016 17:57

I predict Rob will find a sympathetic ear with Kate, who has always had such dysfunctional relationships with her own children, with their fathers standing in her way at every turn (at least from her point of view).

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 19/10/2016 16:58

Go Jill.

Grow up Pip - you horrible, spoilt brat.
