And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Let's hope the skies open and there's a Biblical display of thunder and lightning when Rob does his village green protest.

ibrowze · 04/10/2016 14:03

I couldnt bear for Rob to leave Ambridge. Whats the point of a pantomine without a villain?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 04/10/2016 15:08

Yes, I think so, Mootsie. He'd bought it as a hobby project and there was a daft storyline where a college friend of John's, a girl called Sandy iirc, started hanging around BF to help Tony and Pat got pretty pissed off, leading to an excruciating conversation where Tony had to warn Sandy off. Something like that, anyway.

Mootsie · 04/10/2016 18:18

I didn't listen much in the late nineties, GaspOde so missed the Sandy/Tony/Pat story but I do remember John being found by Tony underneath the tractor in a ditch.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 04/10/2016 19:01

Yes, that was heartrending. Tony got rid of the tractor asap, I think.

Gruach · 04/10/2016 20:42

Won't Elizabeth's road not taken be something to do with Robin Fairbrother? Possibly after witnessing one of Pip and Toby's PDAs and hearing about her Ma's almighty birthday strop.

Perhaps Fairpapa will drag his poorly heart to Ambrudge?

GypsyFl0ss · 04/10/2016 21:11

There's a thread elsewhere on the net speculating that Johnny and Tom moving out is a signpost to Bridge Farm being left unmanned, literally, and Knob going postal with a big shotgun or setting fire to it. It made me think about the long term prediction at the start of this thread about a fire at LL and wondering whether it's BF and not LL after all... I can imagine SOC wanting one last big hurrah to catch us all unawares.

TopazRocks · 04/10/2016 21:16

But Tone's still a man, non? Grin I do know what you mean though. This is my first post on this spoilers thread. I only began reading during the trial, I intended to only read and not post in case I get mixed up about where I read what.

GypsyFl0ss · 04/10/2016 21:24

Hah, I checked so many times before I pressed post! I too fear the wrath!

I'm not sure about how much cop Tone would be on his own. I could imagine him dying to save his family. And rescue his stage career before panto season starts again Smile

StVincent · 05/10/2016 15:18

And Tony is only a couple of years on from really serious injuries. If his lungs were damaged then he's probably not great in either a fight or a fire :(

Let's hope that's not what happens. I still have a sneaking suspicion it'll be his own mother Rob kills in the end.

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/10/2016 19:38

Oooh, yesssss

That would be perfect

Which one Bore pyromania or matricide?

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/10/2016 21:42

Both!

(but if I'm only allowed one, then matricide)

OP posts:
GypsyFl0ss · 06/10/2016 08:14

but if I'm only allowed one, then matricide. In that case please be death by a overdose of dental adhesive.

Gumpendorf · 10/10/2016 19:50

Radio Times*
15-21 October
*
Money worries are plaguing the villagers this week. First, we have Pat and Tony calculating the amount owed in legal costs from Helen's trial and the family court hearings. With Helen regaining her independence, and Tom grafting on the farm, there is a big worry about saddling either of them with news of the bill. Joe, meanwhile, is worried about Bartleby who isn't his usual self. The only option is to call the vet – but can the Grundy's really afford it?

Rob is being his usual charming self, defying the community's rejection of him and threatening to bin any of Helen and Henry's belongings still at Blossom Hill cottage. Plus Rex and Toby Fairbrother's public showdown becomes the talk of Ambridge.

Rob's listener being the psychologist doing the psych report for the courts? If so, sounds fun. Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/10/2016 20:00

Can I lodge a tiny bet that George is going to steal money from the church to pay the vet's bill for Bartleby?

Thanks, Gump!

Fink · 10/10/2016 20:09

'Can the Grundy's really afford it?' Grundy's? Really, Radio Times. At least now we know who designed their turkey website last year.

Gumpendorf · 10/10/2016 20:14

Nope, the stray apostrophe is my iPhone's voice recognition. There's usually at least one mistake I don't spot. Blush

TheAntiBoop · 10/10/2016 20:36

Grump wrote the turkey signs!!!! OMG!!!

Mootsie · 11/10/2016 13:42

Why can't Pat and Tony just come clean about the legal bill? Wrapping their children in cotton wool hasn't exactly served them well.

And Henry STILL sounds about three years old Angry

ZuleikaDobson · 11/10/2016 15:22

I'd be amazed if the lawyers all kept their bills back till the end. Normally they would issue interim bills.
