And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Doughy Hood?

I do hope the showdown consists of a large proportion of Ambridgites telling Knob exactly how despicable he is, closely followed by Kenton banning him from The Bull.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 25/09/2016 16:12

Doughy Hood was before my time, but I gather that he was the village baker in the early days, and played by Arnold Ridley, who went on to be Private Godfrey in Dad's Army. Great-uncle of Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in Star Wars.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 25/09/2016 19:06

I cannot WAIT!

selsigfach · 25/09/2016 20:43

Me neither! Bring on the showdown!

Radio Times
1 to 7 October

Listeners under the impression that Rob would be a chastened figure following the court rulings should think again. He's battling Ambridge's collective dislike for him by turning up at a friendly cricket match, kit bag in hand. Can he charm his way to the crease or will it be daggers drawn in the dressing room?

Asked for Helen, she is trying to regain her independence by considering divorce proceedings as well as a review of her and Rob's joint account. But it seems she's still susceptible to the cruel power of the Titcheners.

Away from the mind games, a birthday tea is thrown for Jill, who is turning 86. But she's not exactly pleased when Pip invites Toby along...

Gumpendorf · 26/09/2016 17:36

Lots of Star Star for working out it's the joint account. I sincerely hope they don't allow Rob to play. Angry

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 27/09/2016 14:46

I hope Helen looking at the joint account leads to someone checking out the shop accounts, and passing on information about what they find to Justin.

TheAntiBoop · 27/09/2016 14:49

Ian gets a job offer far far away?

Vango · 27/09/2016 16:38

I hope Helen's big shock isn't that Tom's stolen her baby food idea!

Stickerrocks · 27/09/2016 17:21

It has to be that Rob has bled their savings from Peggy dry. He won't care and it will be impossible to discuss the situation with him. He will just give his sneery little laugh.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 27/09/2016 17:30

Initially I thought the shock for Helen must be her account - but then why is Tom having to 'come clean' the next day?

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 27/09/2016 17:47

I know Helen's been a bit busy and all, but it would have been good if her solicitor had reminded her to sort out the joint account and any other joint debts. She could perfectly well have done it from prison or the MBU.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/09/2016 10:47

Tom is probably going to tell Helen about Kirsty. She knows about the baby food idea, it was mentioned quite recently.

Thanks for spoilers!

TOTAL TV GUIDE 1 - 7 OCTOBER 2016

Helen's continuing her recovery and gradually asserting her independence from Rob.

Rob is finding life tough following the trial verdict.

His stomach removal surgery clashes with Jack time, and villagers won't forget the lurid court revelations in a hurry, though he's hopeful Harrison still needs his cricketing skills in an Ambridge friendly.

Pip makes an error of judgement at Jill's birthday party, when she invites Toby along.

Kate reflects with Roy, before Phoebe's departure for university.

With Helen and the boys back at Bridge Farm, Johnny suggests he moves out, but Pat's dead against it.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 28/09/2016 10:54

If Harrison picks Rob for the cricket team, I hope Fallon kicks him somewhere painful. How can he pick someone whom he may well have to arrest for rape and coercive control?

Mootsie · 28/09/2016 14:01

The hunting season starts soon. Rob may be over his stoma reversal by then. Maybe that's why Shula's having doubts (again)

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 28/09/2016 16:31

Maybe the hunt sab will turn up, Shula will be guilt-tripped into admitting she lied, and Rob will get arrested for assaulting him.

StVincent · 28/09/2016 17:03

And also why Oliver has a question for Shula?

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2016 18:14

I hope Ollie is going to discuss with Smugula whether Knob should contine as acting huntmaster (or whatever it is).

And then she will be able to unburden herself by confessing all.

A new look for Roy! A new pair of polyester trousers in a different colour, perhaps?

mummytime · 01/10/2016 03:53

Is the Alastair storyline going to finally happen? And was SOC suppressing it?

Tuktuktaker · 01/10/2016 06:24

Bollards. Ian is going to leave Ambridge, isn't he? And Alastair is going to leave St Shula. (Not so bothered about the latter.)

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 01/10/2016 10:54

Will Jill catch George? I think he must've been the one who stole the curtain money and that was never resolved...
