And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Presumably Usha will give Rob some kind of notice? I guess Tony's standing 'guard' during the first contact this Sunday.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 20/09/2016 16:59

It would be good if, when Rob asks for help with nappies, Emma points out that he should have thought of that when he told the court he would have no problem looking after both boys and tells him to bog off.

Stickerrocks · 20/09/2016 19:06

Radio Times 24 - 30 Sept

Rob is a total loss when it comes to changing his young son's nappy (our heart bleeds!) and needs the help of his mum more than ever. We'll also hear Rob take offence at Emma's unwillingness to offer assistance, but she's unmoved. And brace yourself for a showdown at the Bull that finds Rob taking the opportunity to settle scores.

As for Helen, she's trying to re-acclimatise to life at Bridge farm, but remains worried for both her sons, admitting that her relationship with Henry could be permanently damaged.

And finally, Adam's affairs are out in the open: Alice doesn't hold back when it comes to letting her brother know what she thinks of his inexcusable behaviour.

MrsArthurShappey · 20/09/2016 19:21

Tenderhooks???

DadDadDad · 20/09/2016 19:43

Good spot, MrsAS, it should of course be tenterhooks. jeremybutterfield.wordpress.com/2014/09/06/749/

Vango · 21/09/2016 00:13

So is Adam the Bull's unexpected guest then? And will the argument in the pub be between Alice and Adam?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/09/2016 08:26

More likely to be between Rob and someone, surely? My money would be on Tom or Ian.

Gumpendorf · 21/09/2016 17:35

Gumpendorf · 21/09/2016 17:36

Good to see Kaz hasn't been forgotten.

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/09/2016 07:17

Indeed Gumpendorf

Kaz must move to Ambridge when she gets out. I imagine the SWs will consider her to be a perfect match for Jazzer, and it is time he settled down.

Mootsie · 22/09/2016 20:25

Interview panel at The Bull? Has Justin decided to put Rob through the normal process?

Vango · 22/09/2016 20:35

Is it Tom's Nuffield thing? Looking forward to Helen's discovery!

KingscoteStaff · 22/09/2016 22:03

Helen discovers the state of the shop accounts? Or is it some sort of pun about electricity?

JudyCoolibar · 22/09/2016 22:40

Perhaps the shocking discovery is something Rob has done to Henry or Jack?

Gruach · 22/09/2016 23:13

Surely it must be incontrovertible evidence that Rob has been stealing from the shop?

(I wouldn't be surprised if Henry's new uniform list and timetable for start of term somehow fall into Helen's hands - but that would hardly be shocking and she has complete power to stop the boarding school thing now.)

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 23/09/2016 07:20

Maybe Helen discovers Stefan's body in the culvert? It might be lightly camouflaged by printouts of the shop accounts and letters from the prep school.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 23/09/2016 07:21

PS Thanks, Gumpendorf!

Mootsie · 23/09/2016 10:50

Oh yes. It might be the Nuffield, vango I keep forgetting about that as it's a big yawn.

Maybe Helen takes a look at her bank account and realises all Peggy's money has gone Shock

enochroot · 23/09/2016 11:11

I think it is quite likely that Helen discovers she has no money of her own and Rob's spent all she ever had.
That might stiffen her resolve to make that complaint.

TheAntiBoop · 23/09/2016 11:15

Financial abuse on top... As he stopped her working she must have a case

Does she know Tom nicked her baby food idea

Vango · 23/09/2016 11:19

Oooh! She may even have some debts?!

Gumpendorf · 23/09/2016 13:01

I was thinking Helen had looked at her bank account too. It may be overdrawn, but I can't think of any of Helen's assets that Rob might have used as collateral. Peggy gave them £10k a year ago and given that Rob has only had SSP since April, it can't have lasted long.

Would Nuffield come to Tom for the interview and why the Bull rather than GG? I nothing about it, but had the impression it was quite prestigious.

enochroot · 23/09/2016 13:34

She must have had an account of her own but Rob diverted her wages into the joint account before the stabbing. I bet he's spent everything and will try to pretend there is nothing to split in a divorce. He'll give that little laugh and say caring for Henry while she was in prison was very expensive.

Daily Mail Weekend Magazine24 Sep 2016

Jolene had better serve the wallop in plastic glasses this week. Rob, seething with rage, takes his wounded ego down to the pub for a drink or three. A showdown – the like of which has not been seen in Ambridge since that nasty business with Doughy Hood – ensues. Adam’s past adventures in the polytunnels still blight Honeysuckle Cottage, while a cloud of denial hangs over the Fairbrothers. Helen frets about her damaged relationship with Henry, and worries about the long-term effect the Titchener system of child-rearing will have on her boys. Meanwhile, Susan Carter waits anxiously as September fades and her Miss October calendar picture is revealed.
