And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

I wonder if he gets 50% residency or access rights but drags Emma in to babysit Henwee so he can concentrate his attention fully on My Son Gideon.

enochroot · 15/09/2016 14:08

Now that we know Rob can't hold down a job I think he's going to get the manager job and be found out being lazy and cutting corners. Questions might even be asked about the culvert incident!

BlackeyedSusan · 15/09/2016 21:19

now he is back at damara, rob will just be able to lose the data that charlie found about cows

enochroot · 15/09/2016 22:16

He'll still do whatever it was again though. He got away with it.

Vango · 15/09/2016 23:09

Do we know exactly what Justin's got lined up for him yet? I don't remember hearing. When R confirmed that he'd accepted the position I did wonder if he'd find himself doing something menial.

enochroot · 16/09/2016 10:44

It appears to be Charlie's old job running the estate which used to include the operation at Berrow Farm though I thought the unit at Berrow had been closed down and the cows sold off.
Rob's going to see it as an opportunity to lord it over Adam and he'll give Ed a hard time too.
I'm hoping the new editor will bring Charlie back to engineer Rob's professional downfall.

JudyCoolibar · 16/09/2016 19:31

So why on earth would Emma be babysitting Henry? I'd have thought Pat, Tony and Helen wouldn't dream of letting him out of their site apart from going to school.

Vango · 16/09/2016 19:33

I think she'll be taking money for services already rendered, and feeling awkward about it.

JudyCoolibar · 16/09/2016 21:19

But it says she's uneasy about "continuing to babysit", not "taking the money for babysitting". Unless it's a badly phrased statement that she feels guilty about doing so in the past?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 16/09/2016 21:30

Odd. Surely he would have been paying her as he went along?

Vango · 16/09/2016 21:46

I'd say the Total TV Guide just re-wrote the RT entry accidentally changing the meaning of the original sentence (hopefully).

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/09/2016 22:54

25th - 30th September

25/09/16 Tony stands guard and Henry is excited by the Flower and Produce show
26/09/16 Adam keeps his distance and Carol teases Jill
27/09/16 Rex is back in Ambridge and Josh is honest with Johnny
28/09/16 Emma hopes to clear the air, and Brian has a go at giving marital advice.
29/09/16 Toby is caught out, and Ed takes offence.
30/09/16 Rob asks for a favour, and there is an argument in The Bull

The Emma feels uneasy bit is clearly referring to past few weeks. It must make her relationship with Helen uncomfortable now.

JudyCoolibar · 18/09/2016 12:16

Susan's in the cast list for this week. Let's hope we're going to hear her thoughts on the outcome of both cases.

TheAntiBoop · 18/09/2016 14:12

If I were Emma I would say that she felt uncomfortable but felt it would be better for Henry to have someone he knows looking after him. I don't think she really did anything wrong.

Gumpendorf · 20/09/2016 12:45

Radio Times 24 -30th September

Rob is at a total loss when it comes to his young son's nappy (our heart bleeds!) and needs the help of his mum more than ever. We'll also hear Rob take offence at Emma's unwillingness to offer assistance, but she is unmoved. And brace yourself for a showdown that finds Rob taking the opportunity to settle scores.

As for Helen, she's trying to re-acclimatise to life at Bridge Farm, but remains worried for both her sons, admitting that her relationship with Henry could be permanently damaged.

And, finally, Adam's affairs are finally out in the open: Alice doesn't hold back when it comes to letting her brother know what she thinks of his inexcusable behaviour.

Gumpendorf · 20/09/2016 12:47

The mind boggles at what scores Rob feels he has to settle. Unless it's with his own family. Hmm

Vango · 20/09/2016 12:53

Well aside from the Bridge Farm Archers, I'd say he'll have Kirsty and Ian in his sights at least!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/09/2016 12:56

Thanks, Gump! Taken with next week's spoilers, I wonder if Rob is going to go into The Bull? I do enjoy a massive public row in Ambridge. I still remember Susan at the cricket club AGM sounding off about Shula and Doc Locke and the village losing its GP as a result.

Then there was Eddie telling Sid in The Bull that everybody knew Kathy was having an affair with Dave Barry.

There must be lots more.

I'm rather hoping the populace of Ambridge decide to get rid of Rob somehow. They could take inspiration from The Wicker Man, perhaps. Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/09/2016 13:04

And here are some more spoilers. It now looks as if the bit about Emma having scruples over taking Rob's money for babysitting applies to him wanting somebody to change Jack's nappy during his three hours of contact. Really?

TOTAL TV GUIDE 24 - 30 September 2016

Helen adjusts to life back at Home Farm.

Rob is finding fatherhood tough, particularly nappy changing and Emma's in no hurry to help him.

Alice lets Adam have it with both barrels over his inexcusable behaviour.

When Jennifer offers Adam a bed at Home Farm he rejects her invitation.

Ambridge is on tenderhooks over who will in the inaugural Freda Fry Memorial Award at the Flower and Produce Show.

Rex returns after caring for his father - will Toby tell him the truth about Pip?

As October looms, Susan frets about her revealing calendar shoot ...

TheAntiBoop · 20/09/2016 13:25

Isn't it supervised access? Can't he just ask Pat?

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 20/09/2016 14:01

Why would Rob need Emma to help with the nappy if Pat or Tony are supervising? It may stick in his gullet asking Pat, but surely it would look even worse if he has to get someone else in. Unless maybe he's asking for lessons in advance rather than having the sense to go on YouTube?

It's not looking good for Adam if people are offering him beds.

It would be great if Rob has a massive rant in The Bull leading to everyone suddenly remembering all those issues like the culvert, the hunt sab, the rudeness to Jim etc etc.

Vango · 20/09/2016 14:08

Where will the visits take place? Will Pat and Tony have to go to BHC?

MissPattie · 20/09/2016 16:07

Is Usha not going to chuck him out of BHC?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/09/2016 16:17

I'm hoping so. Alan was visiting Bridge Farm in the last day or two, so I wonder if he might talk to Usha about Rob. (I assume vicars are supposed to maintain some confidentiality over what their parishioners say to them, but I bet that's ignored.)
