And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

Rob having a last minute change of plan sounds like it might mean curtains for Tenby....

Gruach · 27/07/2016 12:13

Ooh - yes, definitely sounds like a boarding school revelation passed on to Anna. But we're so often disappointed ...

Thanks for all the spoilers. I had to delete a spoilery website from my phone about a year ago because it was stealing all my time. Blush

TOTAL TV GUIDE 30 JULY - 5 AUG 2016

The village fete is a huge success, thanks to Fallon and Lynda, but there's sad news back at Ambridge Hall.

When Shula tells Alistair she's considering reporting Rob to the police over his attack on the hunt saboteur, she doesn't get the response she hoped for.

Henry proves to be a handful at Blossom Cottage.

Emma is approaches to help, but he'll soon be back with the Arches if Pat has her way.

Ruth and David are back in a good place.

The Grundys face more hardship when Ed's new sheep arrive in a freak storm, which leaves Joe inconsolable.

As they weigh up the damage, is this it for the unfortunate clan?

Crikey, sounds as if SOC has moved on from Tess of the D'Urbervilles to Far From The Madding Crowd! Shock

Gumpendorf · 29/07/2016 13:12

Thanks Gasp0

I'm getting a bit tired of the Grundy stereotyping. I like Ed and he deserves some luck.

BlackeyedSusan · 30/07/2016 13:05

offs. freak storms.

Isn't it infuriating how loads of people can suddenly see Rob for who he is, whereas six months ago – when Helen needed help – he was still being treated as a fine upstanding citizen?

This week, Rob is snubbed by key members of the cricket team, which leads him to respond in kind and show Adam his true colours once again.

Then there's Emma, who is finding Rob's double standards regarding Henry taxing. A phone conversation causes her even more consternation.

Thankfully, Helen is feeling more up beat, but I must attempt to build a case of frustrated by Helen only going so far with her recollections. Will pursuing matters from a different angle prove fruitful?

Writer: Tim Stimpson.

And we're gathering momentum before the trial which will be only 4 weeks away.

Did you say the cricket team are on Rob's side, Susan?

Stickerrocks · 01/08/2016 22:34

Starting to sound promising. Susan can only spout on about Rob being a flood hero for so long before someone corrects her. Bring back Charlie!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 02/08/2016 18:03

Thanks, Gumpendorf!

TOTAL TV GUIDE 6 - 12 AUG 2016

Helen gets a piece of positive news.

When Anna encourages her to open up about her friendship with Ian, she's left frustrated.

Oh, and another one:

Fri 19th Aug Anna is feeling challenged, and Rob receives good news.

Hmm.

Gumpendorf · 02/08/2016 18:49

Haha! Thanks Gasp0!

That's the problem with spoilers: it all depends on the lens.

Looks as if Ursula is back and Henry does go on holiday with PatnTone. Does Rob go to the boarding school?

I sort of hoped it would be Jill noticing Pip was pregnant....

JudyCoolibar · 03/08/2016 09:32

Pip would have to be blinded by love or lust to be still with Toby. Surely she must know about what he did to the hens?

Stickerrocks · 03/08/2016 19:32

There are far too many heavy hints about how desperately Pat & Tony want to take Henry to Tenby. I wouldn't put it past them for Rob to book a last minute holiday himself, just to keep the Sundays only access arrangement.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 04/08/2016 07:55

My hunch is that he lets them take Henry but then fabricates a reason for coming back early. His MO has always been to let his victim think he's got away with something and then let them know he knew that and was one step ahead all the time. Remember Helen and the abortive steam train trip? Wouldn't it be great (in a way) if it turned out he'd put a tracker on Pat's phone too?

JudyCoolibar · 04/08/2016 13:15

Maybe that mission Rob is on is a trip to Tenby?

BeansMcCready · 05/08/2016 20:02

When is Jess going to pop up again? Will they leave untill the last night before the end of the trial? Surely she will testify and that will get Helen off?

Stickerrocks · 06/08/2016 16:46

Did you listen last night Bean. She's back but being as difficult as Helen is about dragging up the past.

Stickerrocks · 09/08/2016 10:07

Radio Times 13-19 Aug
It's time for Henry's holiday in Tenby with Pat & Tony, so Rob is on top manipulative form, telling his boy that he can take him to a better beach and emphasising just how lonely he will be without him. Henry will be a gibbering wreck this time next year, mark my words.

For a different approach to raising children, we only need to look at George who has been busy reading Danny Champion of the World. Clarrie warns Eddie & Joe not to talk to George about poaching like it isn't a crime.

Pip admits to Alice what's been going on between her and Toby. Alice can't help but be impressed by the actions of her second cousin. She appears to have tamed the bad boy of Borsetshire.

So reports of Joe's death must have been exaggerated then!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 09/08/2016 11:29

NOOOO! And I'm on holiday next week!

JudyCoolibar · 09/08/2016 15:23

What on earth is there to be impressed about in Pip jumping into bed with Toby? Given that he seems to be prepared to shag virtually any woman between 16 and 50.

Stickerrocks · 09/08/2016 17:21

I suppose it's the thought of some action (any action) in TA, instead of them all simply going to Elfworld.

AntiBoop, yes! Not impressed by that, especially if Max has a speaking part and turns out to be another indistinguishable posh boy. Hmm
