And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

oh arse.

a rob episode tonight.

Gumpendorf · 18/07/2016 19:00

Radio Times 23rd to 27th July

Past crimes come back to haunt Shula when she tells Caroline that she wishes she hadn't lied to the police about the incident she witnessed between Rob and a hunt saboteur last year. Caroline tries to reassure her that everything looks different with hindsight - but surely everyone should now speak out about Rob's control freakery and flashes of violence?

Ian has Helen on his mind as he tries to mend the broken friendship. But with Adam pointing out that he never understood what went wrong, a new can of worms could soon be cracked open. Rex, meanwhile, suggests that Upper Class Eggs might be better off without Toby. I think the village would be better off without both of them.

Writer: Adrian Flynn. Editor still ykw.

Cast listed: includes Dorothy but no Pip and no Helen.

TOTAL TV GUIDE 23 - 29 JULY 2016

Pat and Tony's day with Henry is hijacked when he spots Rob at the Ambridge cricket match, who promises him a special treat.

Shula is full of guilt about lying to the police following Rob's run-in with a hunt saboteur last year.

Caroline tries to ease her conscience - until Fallon turns up, and they wonder how much she overheard.

Ian's full of regrets, too, over ending his friendship with Helen. Is it too late to reach out to her?

Neil has a visit from Anna, who's building a picture of her client's early life, and hopes he can help - but Susan gets a surprise when she returns home.

Toby's in the doghouse again.

BlackeyedSusan · 22/07/2016 23:08

offs.

get your collective bloody acts together and pieceit all togeher about rob the knob.

thanks for the list...

Stickerrocks · 25/07/2016 12:39

Susan, being one of Rob 's biggest fans, will persuade Neil that he can't possible speak up for Helen in court. After all, she thinks Helen is a jumped up little madam.

Gumpendorf · 25/07/2016 17:11

Radio Times 30 July - 5 August

Rob is having his patience tried by the energetic Henry. But who would have foreseen him enlisting Emma's help? After all, he traditionally considered her the lowest of the low. At Bridge Farm, meanwhile, Pat is taking the first steps on the long journey towards getting Henry back into her full time care.

Shula's conscience is steering her towards reporting Rob's attack on the hunt saboteur, but Alistair's reaction does nothing for family harmony. Finally, Fallon's organisational skills pay off as the village fete is a roaring success, thanks in no small measure to a last minute contribution from Lynda. But a buoyant Lynda arrives home to sad news. How will she cope with the task she now faces.

Writer: Paul Brodrick. Editor .....

JudyCoolibar · 25/07/2016 17:30

So how would Rob be able to afford to pay Emma? Surely Pat's woken up to taking him off the shop payroll by now?

TheAntiBoop · 25/07/2016 18:21

He will be sending him over for play dates no doubt

Gruach · 25/07/2016 18:39

Sad news for Lynda?

Surely not Robert?

Coriander's partner? So more of Oscar?

Or perhaps "sad" as in James and Leonie splitting up?

And yes - Rob will be imposing on Emma's kindness. And probably telling her she mustn't allow Henry to see his grandparents at all.

Gumpendorf · 25/07/2016 19:01

I was wondering if Emma might be his next target ? Hmm That might * be his downfall as Emma is a lot tougher than Helen.

Maybe St Shula will prevaricate right up to the first week in September and suddenly appear in court to give evidence. EE style. Angry

*ongoing wishful thinking.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 25/07/2016 19:33

Surely not Scruff. Sad Shock A llama? I've lost track of which llamas are still alive. She had Wolfgang, Constanza and Salieri at one point. Rather oddly from the name point of view, Salieri was the child of the other two. She had a goat (or was it goats?) too at one stage. I will be desolate if it turns out that Robert has died. He's just about my favourite character now.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 25/07/2016 19:37

Oh, and thank you very much, Gumpendorf!

Gruach · 26/07/2016 19:15

Oh. Is Mike going to be the sad news? Then Lynda could take on the tree warden challenge?

Stickerrocks · 26/07/2016 19:59

Scruff featured heavily tonight, so the end could well be nigh.

JudyCoolibar · 26/07/2016 20:12

Yes, as soon as Lynda started talking about her lovely dog I just knew his days were numbered.

tibbawyrots · 27/07/2016 06:41

I cried when Scruff returned at Christmas much to the amusement and pisstaking of my daughter and my OH. I don't know if I can stand the resultant pisstaking when if I cry if when Scruff bows out. Sad

Gruach · 27/07/2016 06:57

Scruff has had his share of the limelight. Very boring for the Lynda actor if she has to do more emoting over a dog.

And the RT spoiler would be poorly written if it is Scruff.

Blu · 27/07/2016 07:15

I am only able to listen to about half an episode every two weeks. May I pop my head round the door and ask if Rob has sabotaged the trip to Tenerife yet?

Stickerrocks · 27/07/2016 07:31

Replace Tenerife with Tenby. It was a stupid idea of Pat 's anyway.

Blu · 27/07/2016 07:32

Ah, ok!

tibbawyrots · 27/07/2016 08:59

I can still see Rob sabotaging the holiday anyway. One way or another.

Stickerrocks · 27/07/2016 10:50

There's bound to be a cricket ball related incident. After all, village gossip says Henry looked far too serious playing and Pat has commented on the solidity of the equipment Rob bought. Nobody will think to report any crises to the necessary authorities though, there will just be much hand-wringing.

JudyCoolibar · 27/07/2016 11:32

More in now -

Wed 27 Jul It is all hands on deck at Hollowtree, and Adam is treated to breakfast.
Thu 28 Jul Neil is not sure he is the right person for the job, and Fallon is made to wait.
Fri 29 Jul Toby is on shaky ground, and Tom gets the go-ahead.

Sun 31 Jul It is the date of the village fete: Fallon is tested, and Lynda is taken by surprise.
Mon 1 Aug Emma is put in a difficult position, and it is a special day for Johnny.
Tue 2 Aug There is a chance encounter for Elizabeth, while Shula continues to agonise.
Wed 3 Aug Susan stands her ground, and at Brookfield things seem to be looking up.
Thu 4 Aug Ed feels positive about the future, and Lilian supports a friend.
Fri 5 Aug Anna makes her next move, and Eddie makes a bad situation worse.
Sun 7 Aug Harrison doubts himself, and Rob is feeling generous.
Mon 8 Aug Shula shows off a birthday present, and Jill has a question for Pip.
Tue 9 Aug Eddie gets some bad news, and Emma overhears a phone call.
Weds 10 Aug New information is brought to Anna's attention, and Richard gives his advice.
Thur 11 Aug Rex and Toby both want the last word, and Rob makes a last-minute decision.
Fri 12 Aug Pip plays it cool, and Anna has her work cut out.

Looks like things are hotting up on the Helen Defence front.

Editor is still SOC as at 12th August.

Mootsie · 27/07/2016 11:53

Maybe Emma will overhear a phone call between Rob and the boarding school while she's helping out with Henry.
That could be Anna's 'new information'
Or maybe I'm just getting excited about nothing.

BoreOfWhabylon · 27/07/2016 11:55

Thanks Judy

Sounds like Emma is persuaded to do some work (babysitting? housecleaning?) for Knob, overhears something (boarding school?) and spills the beans...
