You lucky thing diva! Wish i was away all summer. I would love to come and spend the day, we will have to arrange it.

Nic, if you have any summer clothes in 9 - 12 months or winter stuff in 12 - 18 then I would be interested!

Jack is 6 months but is rapidly outgrowing 6 - 9 month clothes

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 12:34

Divatheshopaholic · 18/06/2010 12:35

Maxy and Geek, That would be great, too.
Geek, im thinking about venturing to Manchester city center one day, take train. Would you be interested in meeting up with me and Maxy?

maxybrown · 18/06/2010 13:05

That's ok Nic bib to crotch nd total length please

I spent £160 too well I didn't, I used DH's credit card but that includes winter coat, all trousers etc. Would really like the matching hat and mittens too but will have to wait for those. Anyway, need to get raising funds and hopefully sell elite too !!!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 13:20

i liked the hat but wondered what sizing would be like maxy in the 2-4? i always find hats come up small whereever they're from. luka fits tates small boden summer hat.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 13:21

35cm bib to crotch and 63cm all the way bib to ankle.

GeekOfTheWeek · 18/06/2010 13:26

Diva, that would be fabulous When are you thinking? I am only 20 mins north of manchester. Were you thinkg city centre or trafford centre?

maxybrown · 18/06/2010 13:41

I have last years summer hat for James and that fits - the small - BUT he had the 18/24 from the baby section last year - the winter hat and that fitted. Will order it and see anyway. His head is just shy of 53cm.....we'll see anyway, easy to send back if not.

Right will check those measurements out in a min and email you!

Geek - cit centre I think

Shorts posted first class Bexie, first class so should be there tomorrow. Again, sorry for delay, I'm not normally this slow at posting things.

I've been such an idiot! Booked out holiday to Blackpool for the last week of the school term thinking the boys will have broke up the week before! Not sure I can change it either, so they'll be getting an extra week off school. Going to go to travel agents tomorrow to see if we can swap weeks.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 16:58

Right everyone! O3 came today and I quite like it but it is too bulky for the bus.
So do I need a Baby Jogger and if so which one?
Or should I go for an older style MB urban without the adjustable handle etc, light and nippy but not madly easy to fold?
Or should I go for a Swift? [carrie?]
Or is there something light, easy fold, air tyres and suitable for 3.8 yr old. Maybe back to a powertrack. Hmmmmmmmm

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 17:01

Baby joggers are huge Dunoon. Do you not fancy trying a micralite? They're lovey and light to push with a large child in, ds2 used ds3's a few times.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 17:04

I felt that the Classic was quite big but am thinking of the fold.
Will a micralite be easier to push than a Quest and go over grass and gravel? Will it fold easily to go through the park gate and on the bus?

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 17:06

I loved my Micralite, will be getting another nearer winter. It is a lot easier to push over rough terrain, I even took ours to the beach, and although I had to tip it slightly so the small wheels were off the sand, it was really easy to push.

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 17:07

Oh an it is easy to fold it one handed.

BexieID · 18/06/2010 17:12

Thanks 5in.

Love Micralites, my most used buggy until she fell apart, lol. Actually, Tom rolled her downstairs twice. Would love a Superlite.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 17:23

What is the difference with a super light?
Have looked at the kiddicare video and am getting enthusiastic

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 17:33

Superlites have more of a recline, a rounded hood and a black frame.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 17:41

Blast it's only 102 cm handle height. I think it will be too low for me.

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 17:50

Handes are adjustable, not sure what highest is though.

Just looked at the video of the superlite on youtube, looks lovely.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 17:59

i was keen on superlite but someone on pram board put pics of her little boy up today he's younger than luka and without a coat looked squashed. Put me right off them.

Nipper dunoon? no three wheeler is as easy as a stroller to collapse but nipper is straightforward and best of all light. What route are you walking?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 18:04

Nipper is so complicated to fold and I felt that DD was half lying down because the footrest is so horizontal.
I am going down St John's rd, into town, across precinct, across Crescent Rd and ito Calverly park so either gravel road there or across grassand fairly rough, then through the kissing gate [why, why, why have a kissing gate?]
And then collapse.
DD is super slim and a bit titchy so might be ok in superlight.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 18:10

jesus does dd1 and 2 walk all that way? then bus home i presume?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 18:23

Yep.1.4 miles according to google maps. Bus home definitely. We have walked it when feeling fresh and nice day.
And DD3 goes to nursery too remember so I have to pick her up and go home at lunch time.
6 journeys for me on nursery days.
Hence the need for a nice easy push.
