nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 18:26

i used nipper today..it is deffo going to be my main bugggy.

i really need to sell the macs now...anyone??!

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 18:32

Pushchair down to school in the morning. I leave it at nursery, then at collect time we take it up to railway station to catch bus home. It has to be at home to then walk back down to school at 3.30

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 18:33

Nicola, my friend lis looking for a pushchair for her baby, tryin to pursuade her to buy your apples as she likes mine. How much were you wanting for it posted?

carrielou2007 · 18/06/2010 18:35

FMTD I've just sold my older MB urban, how about a 6 months old one in fab condition ?? Dd does fit in the swift with a few cm to spare but urban is much bigger as is the seat. It is heavy if you had to lift it into a car boot but ridiculously easy and light to push

I keep meaning to sell my apples quest but can't quite bring myself to do so so have two bugs, two MB and two macs

basl · 18/06/2010 18:39

Evening ladies. I have not had a chance to chat and having withdrawl symptoms. Flyme the classic is lighter than the elite can you remember how you felt about that when you had it. I just know it has the very height adjustable handle and a super wide seat and high back rest. Like i have mentioned before i can push Daniel and Olivia in it with ease. Quick pull and then folded and not as heavy as Elite with slightly narrower wheels. I have to say i must suffer being over impulsive as i really love mine and i think i would have regretted getting anything else. It is like a smaller version of elite. My front door is abnormally narrow so i would not worry about how wide it is.
I would not mind sending mine to you for a borrow if you would like to try it out again?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 18:39

Think I might try the fastfold superlite.
Now should I get the black or the yellow?

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 18:54

black otherwise think its too many colours going on. Did you sell the xt/quest dunoon? i can't remember.

5in £80 posted for apples in orig box and with bnip r/c. all immac just wear to wheels pics are www.picturetrail.com/nicolaspushchairs must go!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 18:58

Xt gone, still have a red/black quest.
Now also have a silver cross pop in jet sport and an O3 sport in black
Last two to go asap. Waiting for a harness clip for the silver cross. It was a find in the street.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:00

Hmm kiddicare selling one with footmuff for £159. But will footmuff be needed for DD come winter? Could sell if not long enough/not needed.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 19:02

i doubt it would fit her? how old is she now? Luka wouldn't fit any footmuffs now i doubt as he was getting tight a few months back maybe a custom that would be it.

good find on pop should get £40/50 for it no?

basl · 18/06/2010 19:06

Awww Flyme i did hope that would have been the one for you. Will your dd still have a little push at nearly 5 ashamed to admit but Olivia loves a wee ride up the road with her legs crossed playing her ds like lady muck and she will be 5 on the 4th of July. Reason i ask is would you prefer a biger seat so she does not look squished.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:06

Pops not madly popular so might just bin it for £30.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:09

DD is having a rather embarrassing phase of sitting with her legs splayed out over the corners of the pushchair seat.iyswim. I just have to check if she has knickers on and then that they are covering the vital areas.
I don't know if she will mind being squished in. I was hoping that on a three wheeler she would get a wide comfy seat but hey you can't have everything.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 19:16

i think she'd be tight in the superlite tbh.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:21

Just bought one so we will soon find out. DP will roll his eyes.

basl · 18/06/2010 19:23

Arrggh wished the classic was light enough for you. The seat is fab. I do know what you mean about the legs splayed but Olivia will only jump in if she is really tired or hot or feeling like she can't be bothered. She has been know to tuck her knees up foetal style and fall a sleep while her brother is giving it his all running home.

Nicola do you still have the linen 2/3 trousers for sale? Have you managed to downsize since your return from hols Now can i say if you have a massive clear out say sep or before please bear me in mind for my hols in Oct i could bulk buy I got some lovely green next shorts from maxy and they go just perfect with that little green check shirt from H&M from you i love it.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:25

There's a powertrack in Tonbridge on ebay. At £30 atm

maxybrown · 18/06/2010 19:26

Hello all. Dunoon would a city mini not suffice? or do you need proper proper 3 wheeler?

OP posts:
basl · 18/06/2010 19:30

or a jane dakar? Loved that and if you get an old one for cheapness i have a brand new black hood you can have and the black seat unit is about £50.00 i think. My friend has the dakar and i loved it just like the powertrack without the brake disc. I thought it was just teen bit too wide but now realize now wider than the classic. Wonder if the hood would fit the powertrack and new seat unit.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 19:30

its a long walk maxy i'd say she does.

i will be clearing out loads of shorts and tee's i expect end of sept basl so can certainly do you nice bundle. How about sandals?

diva if you're reading couldn't bring myself to photo star pumps but i should i guess

these boys have driven me mad today im exhausted. Dh left for work at 9am won't be home til 11pm and same tomorrow.

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 19:31

Ooo lovely Dunoon! I want the blue one whn I buy one. Do you not fancy the liner as well?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:36

I do fancy the liner 5in but am waiting until it is a keeper. Will sell footmuff.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:39

Have been put off three wheelers after the bus trip today actually. Am hoping that the micralite is IT as the fold looks amazing. If it is IT then the Queast will go.
Liner might make the seat too small mind you.

basl · 18/06/2010 19:43

What do you want 5in? the blue micro thingy?

Thankyou nicola and i will pester maxy too. Sandals??? Daniel is a 6/7 now. I am getting a real hard time for spending xxx amount on real crocs for daniel. My dh has told my mum my sister anyone he can tell and get a reaction my mum was utterly disgusted that this little pair of rubber things cost so much. The truth is the both have bad blisters after wearing their real crocs and the next ones have never bothered them yet. I had gift receipt from monsoon and treated Olivia to the most stunning silver sandals, white crop jeans and linen type smock top with silver detail and chrochet on top. She insisted on wearing to toddlers and came home covered in chocolate, then wanted to pop up and say hi to grandad and came home covered in felt tip pen. but all washed off love getting my wee girl all kitted out.
