So experts do I need a travel bag for the O3 sport?
Actually do you know just writing that I know I don't.
I had a little thought that I might put it into a travel bag while it was left at nursery.....but really that is unnecessary. I'm not just going to pop it into a bag while waiting at the bus stop am I?

nicolamumof3 · 14/06/2010 21:19

no flyme you won't!

the nipper is a faff to get into its bag you have to remove wheels and get it laid just right not something i would want to do on the street iykwim.

once in the bag tho its nice and snug and secure and well padded i wouldn't have taken it on plane without it.

nicolamumof3 · 14/06/2010 21:21

thats weird then diva hope it comes for you.

did you get the pea green stripe? i must say not as in love with my volo as i was after using on hols.

Divatheshopaholic · 14/06/2010 21:28

maxybrown · 14/06/2010 21:43

Nicola LOADS of washing up liquid on grease and if you have a nail brush use that on it then wash it again. I have not had any grease marks on clothes that I haven't got out yet sorry have to go again....grrrr no time for chatting at min

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/06/2010 21:54

Just the occasional three wheeler.

nicolamumof3 · 14/06/2010 21:54

will try that. I can't think what it is tbh. They didn't eat in buggy. Tate used it mostly at night. a couple times in day? maybe suncream. mmmh will try that tomorrow thanks maxy.

maxybrown · 14/06/2010 22:09

5inthebackofthenet · 14/06/2010 22:18

I was thinking sunream as well Nicola, greasy stuff that!

Do you remember that P&T twin I bought last year? Buying it back off my friend, and going to do it up and sell it on I think. Would it be worth it? Frame would need sanded and resprayed, and needed a new hood as well.

basl · 14/06/2010 22:31

OMG 5in you are impressing me with that little plan I keep meaning to go to this little outlet with all the second hand prams near me for a little rumage. The girl that told me about it got a brand new first stage car seat with iso fix thingmy for £10.00. Feel a bit bad as it is a company that take things donated for people struggling to set up home etc as it has furniture and all sorts. She picked up a buggy with an immaculate footmuff on it for about £15.00 she said as she wanted the footmuff she thinks it was almost new.

Nicola i think it's the dreaded suncream. For as much as i want my kids protected it does play havoc on clothes, my leather sofa and pushchairs so i agree with the washing up liquid. Google it and sure it will tell you to iron brown paper or something. We had a bbq few years ago and sat out really late and i knocked the table and all the candels fell onto the wooden table. The wax was stuck hard to the table so we ironed with paper and it all came off Voila!!! so no don't give it ago [vision of triangle v shape on volo]

MAxy how you getting on with your changing rooms?

maxybrown · 14/06/2010 22:40

Oh getting there....slowly!

How did it go earlier basl?

I have never felt so tense and that is the only way i can describe. I had to sit in my home telling a boss and her boss my private life and why i am off work and when i am thinking of returning. My face was getting redder by the min and my neck was getting tighter and tigheter. Never ever felt like that before. Such an awkward situation. They are only doing their job and i just smirked when they said we miss you at work and your such a good employee and i know full well we are all just a statistic and need absence off the records. I used to worry about ever being off and would always suffer no matter what but you are not thought any better of.

Ah well i plan to go back after Olivia's birthday in July the 4th and take it from there. I am so scared about that because it is changing all the time and i will feel like i am starting all over again.

My sister asked me to be her assistant child minder i don't think i am cracked up for that but how nice of her to ask.

maxybrown · 14/06/2010 23:07

You are not thought any better of it no Basl that's right - and I always say to my self now, nobody is irreplaceable - no matter what we think!!!

You need to go back when you are ready though and do not end up feeling bullied into going back - if you are not ready you are not ready and that's that. please don't feel scared. xxxxxx

I was suprised how much pressure they did put on me i must say. It was all a bit robotic to be honest. I felt my boss was under pressure from her boss and it takes all the personal touch out of things. Sad because when i worked for the old bank of scotland there was such a focus on personal touch and i suppose that is why it did not survive. Bloody capitalism!! greedy people want more and more out of you and treat you like robots.

Guess what i did today. Went on a nursery trip i was not meant to be on. I got the wrong week. They kept looking at us funny but never said till the penny dropped and i felt such a plonker. Loved it all the same way down north not south like i though Queensferry where Gordon Browns home is. There is a secluded beach and all the kids had a rare time but it was like walking into stepford wives village. All the houses where immaculate on the way down to the beach and there was a police car petroling the whole time we were there. My dh works for british gas and he had to service his boiler at gun point. He tried to make polite conversation and said so what time are you on till and they said they could not answer such questions Ahhhhh lol

basl · 14/06/2010 23:22

sorry i am all for people making money and i love people in business just not too keen on the banking industry at the moment just incase i offend anyone

maxybrown · 14/06/2010 23:44

Oh Basl I am with you completely. I used to work for safeway in the creche and they were like that, hated it

I am supposed to be buying some bits from snala but she hasn't sent pics or replied to email. Do you think she has changed her mind or is just busy?

Nic, I have used the brown paper and iron to get grease out of a top. It did work.
