I am back now h does not want me to cut his hair just yet as he says he can tell i want my fix on MN and he wants a decent hair cut

Maxy that news has really pleased you i can tell. You sound all excited about clothes and shoes again. Nice to see or hear The Elite is a hard one to decide. If i was you and did not walk loads like me then i would wonder if i would really need the Elite. On the other hand it is a cracker so it depends on how much you use it. Norma sold her one as she was not using it and felt she could save some cash and just does up her bjcm.

I really want to get into buying some clothes for my kids again as my H went on a wee shopping spree for them at the weekend and brought back some lovely summer clothes from next and it looks great their little bundles starting to appear for their hols.

BexieID · 08/06/2010 22:33

Gosh, they are a 27 , UK9? which is Toms size, but he says they too tight, lol. Pix here. Just taken in kitchen whilst I was waiting for kettle, lol.

basl · 08/06/2010 22:50

These are the same as Daniels Bexie, fantastic trainers. They are small made aparently so Daniel was 23 and they gave him 24 so maybe that is why they feel a bit tight.

basl · 08/06/2010 23:08

Well my time is up and nobody on to chat so i will catch up with you lovely ladies tomorrow

maxybrown · 08/06/2010 23:09

well i do walk a lot - can't drive!! But equally James likes to walk lot too damn him!! lol.

I am not big into trainers - and never fancied geox before (besides my nephew always wears them and I like to be as distant as possible hehehe) but then I saw ones Diva had and like that style. Pumps are the nearest I will get.If DH had his way he would dress him in brown brogues all of the time though he does like his sandals......men. Oh and as we all know, I do try to avoid velcro as much as possible

somebody please calm me down are any of you here?

OP posts:
BexieID · 08/06/2010 23:28

Calm down! I remember she wanted £10 for 2 Boden bodysuits and then kept e-mailing more stuff she had.

maxybrown · 08/06/2010 23:33

yes, I have had various people email me about her - they also got bombarded with emails from her linking to her stuff for sale, even when they hadn't asked her to.

It is all lies about the clothes EVERYTHING she offered for sale on here she bought fomr Ebay a couple of weeks earlier. Enought time to get it wash it re photograph and advertise I imagine and like one Mnetter said to me, if she is libig in a caravan why would she want to cart all this crap around with her

Now then, I get loads off ebay too though buy more new these days, but anything I sell on on here is sold cheaper than I paid for it.Else it goes on ebay.

grrr grr grrrrrr

I think that post has got my back up more than what she did!

I am bad mood bear today hmph

OP posts:
5inthebed · 09/06/2010 06:50

Well I think you were very riht to post what you did Maxy, and nicely worded as well. Don't get too worked up about that troll poster.

Now, hat size are these Geox you hav that are too small?

5inthebed · 09/06/2010 06:51

[conused] at my spelling. That should read:

Now, what size are these Geox you have that are too small?

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 07:54

thanks 5in, I know she is still lying and I hate it when people try to use sypathy vote to get people to say it is ok - I am not being horrible about her daughter at all, but she should not have mentioned her at all, anyway

I had some that were too small, but Diva bought those off me. Now I have some that are too big duh.

Or did you mean Bexie??

we overslept today too, then DH got right on my nerves all morning - in a nice sort of way if that makes any sense whatsoever.

carrielou2007 · 09/06/2010 09:37

Morning

Maxy I can understand why you blew a fuse at that nasty woman, no-one likes liars, as you rightly say nothing wrong with turning a profit but ebay is the place to do it. There are a few on here that I wouldn't buy a buggy from as I'm sure they are bought from other pram sites and I'm just not comfortable about it. I've bought stuff on here, not for me so just stick it back on here for same price or give it a go on ebay where it's fair game. Anyway, Karma, what goes around comes around.

We all overslept too, ds wakes early being such a hungry boy normally 5-6am he can'thold out until 7am.I then went back to sleep and woke up at 7.45 fed him then dd came up so I didn't even get in the shower until 8am!!!

Raining and I have loads of washing that needs to go out - grr.

sal1309 · 09/06/2010 09:39

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 09:50

oh yes sorry sal well done on the weight front

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 09/06/2010 10:41

Congrats Sal!
Maxy agree with you on the boden diddler. I had some tops from her. Price ok and nice condition but then I got lots of emails which I really didn't like and just made her seem like a business. Stopped when I asked her to though.
Now who has had a silver cross pop? I have found an abandoned one. I thought it was damaged at first as it felt strange but having taken all covers and hood off etc I can't see a problem apart from it feels very loose and wobbly across the top part. Is that normal?
The covers are in the machine as I type.
After another gruelling walk to school this am I am wondering if a Baby jogger of some kind would be good for me as it would take the rough ground, be light to push and when I got to the annoying gate at the park could utilise the easy fold action????????
See should have kept the classic I had.

maxybrown · 09/06/2010 10:52

dunoon about "should have kept the classic I had" famous last words as from all of us.

I love how you find abandened buggies fab but sorry never had one. i do however think the SC pushchairs do go wobbly

OP posts:
GeekOfTheWeek · 09/06/2010 10:58

Morning,

Fed up today but not sure why

flyme, how do you find pushchairs?!

Who was it that found the maclaren ages ago?

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/06/2010 11:02

Maxy it was weird. I saw two women yersterday. One had a double pushchair and some toys were spilling out of the basket which I pointed out to her. Her friend was pulling along this black silver cross and pushing her son in a cossatto pushchair. As a true pramaholic I wondered [nearly asked!] what was wrong with it and thought to myself that having now bought a cossatto the poor woman should have saved her money and bought a maclaren in the first place.
Lo and behold the silver cross abandoned down an alley this morning.
Lets face it apart from the duds we should keep every pushchair we ever had!

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/06/2010 11:03

Geek sorry your fed up. I keep my eyes peeled and I'm a saddo

basl · 09/06/2010 11:18

Superb news on you Weight loss Sal and ouch about your toothache. Can sympathies with that and hope it gets better soon. xxx

Maxy i am so sorry i left the pc as i though everyone went to bed. Kicked myslef when i read how angry you were. Glad you got that of your chest and i have to say i have no experience of any clothes buying except you and nicola. I really can't stand the buying of ebay and then selling on under pretense. The reason why is on ebay you have no idea how many owners have had the item or anything about them. I have been stung so many times buying on ebay with such jazzed up descriptions when they have been clearly owned by others and not a new as they say. I kmow that is what ebay is all about so i am a bit funny thant way and like to know who i am buying from and that it has only had one owner. Unless it's from a close friend or relative. So i would be very put out if i had been diddled in such a way. I wasn't so i will close that matter.

Flyme you are great at finding pushchair the other one was in a skip was it not. Heee Heeee love it. I have had another good look at my classic and i would be daft to sell it because of the angle i have to shove out my door. I do really love it for it's lightness and the huge seat and the very washable fabric. Daniel loves the bumper bar and when i get my new hood i think all will be well. I like the silver wheels as well and the mountain buggy does look more rugged than the slim line of the classic.
Geek cheer up my lovely you have your hols to look forward to. I was looking at some old photos last night of Fuertuventura and i was so slim. It was like looking at a different person. I was beaming on every photo. I loved that holiday pre kids i am ashamed to say but i am sure i will look back and enjoy many more.
