Morning everyone! More rain again today, but my vegetables are very happy so that's good

Basl, I can picture them sat together giggling - so sweet.

And Robin Reliant - that made me snort my laugh came out so unexpectedly dunoon

Morning, dry here to far but more heavy rain expected later.

Still can't decide about MB, really think should sell apples quest. I really don't like the quest, like all the features but it is just too low and rattly for me and I would use the xt for holidays so I really should buck my ideas up and stick it on ebay. Then with the pennies I can put it with what I sold my MB for without feeling guilty then just flippin decide on one!

Basl I used to do that when I had my 03 sport, I would pick up my nephews from school and Riley was only just 5 and he would sit on the footplate bit infront of dd nearly all the way home!!

Robin reliant, that's a bit how I feel about the swift, is a 'cheapy can't afford the proper one' version of the urban . There is an urban for sale on here and she's not far from me. Price seems about right, not bargain/cheap but about right so if I don't like it could stick it on ebay to get my money back then get a swift?

Arraaagggghhhh!! For goodness sake how hard can it be to make a bloomin decision!!!!!

maxybrown · 08/06/2010 10:08

Carrie, I notice you seem to be taking Nicola's place in the decision making areas at the minute

Get an urban if that's what you want - we all know that we always end up getting the more expensive one we want eventually anyway

Morning.

Got drenched this morning on the school run. Jack okay in the pram but couldn't attatch the raincover properly Looked odd but kept him dry

I am watching 2, 3 wheelers on ebay. There is a nipper near me but i'm not keen. I think its the writing on the foot plate that i dislike.

Still haven't got a liner for my bee. Seen one in m&p that i really like but not sure if it will fit.

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/06/2010 10:39

Another drenched pushchair pusher here.It was a nightmare this morning with children moaning about wearing wellies, carrying their shoes, having to wear rain jackets etc. Now the sun is out, typical!
Think I will just have to start using the bus more rather than get a three wheeler for DD3. Walking all those miles in the rain is no joke.

Have asked an ebay MB seller if she would courier though
Trouble is the bigger prams don't fit through the gate at the end of the park grrrrr.
I can talk about Maclarens if we need a Nicola substitute. Can't do the ironing bit though.

carrielou2007 · 08/06/2010 11:06

I want to like the nipper but I don't like the 'suareness' of the hood, the shape of the back of the seat or the back of the frame it's not really a looker is it but it's strenght is it's lightness??

I ge like that with the playgroup run when it's raining, I don't mind getting wet as I only go ack home, ds is fine in the pram but dd if she is soggy and miserable at playgroup is no fun. Which MB

5inthebed · 08/06/2010 11:08

Dunoon.

I was in bed for 9 last night, and I still have my headache . Taken some tablets and it still hasn't shifted.

Getting my apples quest today, so that'll cheer me up.

Told my sister today that I won't be going to my mams for the forseable future when her daughter is there as can't be doing with all the aruing the kids do, and the fact my mam lets her get away with everything and tells my kids off when she upsets them.

I must admit, I am not a fan of MBs, I don;t like the look of them.

Geek, I wasnt sure of the writting on the footplate of nipper, but it really is a great pram.

horsemadgal · 08/06/2010 11:19

Morning, soaked here too and been to school twice and back already!

25% off Boden today, mmm tempting.

maxybrown · 08/06/2010 11:35

OP posts:
maxybrown · 08/06/2010 11:53

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 08/06/2010 12:07

Yes def girly I reckon.

maxybrown · 08/06/2010 12:16

hmmm, I like it and would get it, but chnaged my mind as remember now saw the boys version on a lad in Tesco and actually it looked bit too flimsy. Think JoJo ones are better

OP posts:
carrielou2007 · 08/06/2010 12:23

I had something like that from Boots last year in the sale (like a jumpsuit with a zip fa or the beach/holidays) and the matching cardi both in the sale. Only about 12 new, they will prob have similar this year??

5inthebed hope your head feels a bit better soon, the muggy weather is not making it any easier for you you poor thing.

Divatheshopaholic · 08/06/2010 15:22

Back from school run, nipped next beforehand returned some socks i bought couple of weeks ago. Does anyone find next sock sizes really weird, some large some small.
Hmmm, if i can use my credit with 25% code then im tempted to order rain coat, as my raincoat/jacket from Maines, must made of plastic, its makes me sweat, im the least sweaty person.Shall i, shant i? Im terrible, i send money on my kids no problems, but when it comes to buy something for me i go funny about it
Bexie, you got some lovely MB collection there Loved plum covers, but never had them.
Sal, is it old style slalom? I had Slalom and Slalom pro, and loved them. I think i always loved 3 wheelers
Carrie and Geek, you both could swap your bags if bored. Or open bag and borrow shop between you. I was so into bags with dd, but with ds i only had one bag Love my Diaper dude bag, as dh can carry it for me,too.

basl · 08/06/2010 15:32

Afternoon, back from a very painful time at Olivia's grandads little buffet lunch with My h sister and her kids. You may not remember but she has a little thing about Olivia because she goes to her dads all the time and he is very fond of Olivia. Now i hope he is not like your mum 5in with your niece i certainly don't let him make allowances for her but Her Auntie pics on her a bit and makes really obvious comments like "We don't leave the table at home now so don't start it because Olivia and Daniel are " Well Olivia had finished her meal and wanted to check on Daniel who would not sit still. He was not hungry and there was no chair for him anyway. He was to perch on my knee.

Same thing happened again. Olivia ate so much of her steak bake and was so enjoying it that her grandad gave her his piece. Now i would normally be the one to shout out "oh no you don't grandad that is your lunch" but i just left it to everyone else to make their feelings known. She never asked for it but as usual grandad can't resist giving her more. I just left them to it and let daniel come home for a sleep. Very stressful but she has returned home now and completley unaware of the digs she was getting.

GeekOfTheWeek · 08/06/2010 16:41

basl, were they making digs to Olivia? How old is she?

Dh's dad does this with a child that isn't even his grandchild A boy the same age as my dd, always taking him places and buying him things. Seriously I am not exaggerating when i say this child is with him 4/5 days out of 7. Dd doesn't get a look in I would never say anything to the child though. It isn't his fault.

Carrie, we could swap bags
