maxybrown · 12/05/2010 21:53

I told you there was prob not anything you would want!! Only the hoody maybe, but no?

Ha ha 5in, I only just got what you said really though, milk. If I drank anything mid week that would be done for.......in fact hardly drink anything these days, can't keep my eyes open long enough

Oh yes sorry 5in, meant to tell you I had posted them Sat.

nicolamumof3 · 12/05/2010 22:01

no thanks maxy..he wore JL knitted cardi today and its perfect with navy gap joggers and his boden plimsolls looked v.continental!

maxybrown · 12/05/2010 22:11

lol, I still want a plain one. Got that next one but sending it back, knew I wouldn't like the ribbed ness of it! I actually have enough striped outer tops, really want plain knitted white or beige. Impossible obviously!

I just keep sticking James in shorts now in the hope the sun will warm up

nicolamumof3 · 12/05/2010 22:20

what is it like the ribbed one? i might have it off you??
What size
this is JL one lovely not too heavy. i would like a grey/white striped one.

maxybrown · 12/05/2010 22:25

Oh quality is fab, really decent nice cotton. Will take some RL pics tomorrow fro you in daylight. it's 2/3

Yes love that JL one - they only had big sizes left in my JL. What size did you get?

nicolamumof3 · 12/05/2010 22:29

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 09:17

Morning all!

5inthebed · 13/05/2010 09:34

Morning everyone. How are we all today?

I'm on a high, school yard totty gave me a compliment about my weight loss today . Put a spring in my step anyway.

Done the school run in the tin can, it isn't bad to drive, quite nippy actually. Just want my big car back

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/05/2010 10:18

Morning. Stressed here dealing with move, packing, finance, school trip etc.
Just sat down with a nice cuppa and a marshmallow egg. Yum.
Will need to have a whizz round the house today as the chaos is getting to me. I need to pile all of the packed boxes in one place and clear other spaces so I can move.
Got to clear loft next as some stuff is going to the tip this weekend.
On the plus side I am going to see two Parker Knoll wing chairs on sunday. £60 the pair with loose covers. I fancy them in a kind of retro way and could re-cover in interesting fabric. Bargain price. So I hope she doesn't sell them before then.

horsemadgal · 13/05/2010 11:08

I feel for you FlyMe, moving house is so stressful.

basl · 13/05/2010 11:25

flyme in times of stress you can still be creative. Well done you

Oooo 5in fancy that. I bet it did make you feel good and well deserved. I seem to get told i am coming along nicely these days by people who think i am pregars Been speaking to the lovley BT it department today and nice but not so cheery adviser. What a service. Had my pc all cleaned up and working so much better now. 1hr 15min on phone but well worth it.

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 11:46

Morning again. Back from toddlers another load of washing in machine. Sun just about still shining.

Am hungry and tired.

5in i saw pic of you on facebook you look soooooo different! good for you you've done amazingly well and you deserve to feel proud.

dunoon moving is bloody awful you have my full sympathies i told dh if/when we move again im having professional help!

basl · 13/05/2010 12:28

Hi Nicola i am off to post office to get parcel so pics of liner soon. Oh and did you sell your phil n teds. Do you think that would be and option for me? Are those any good as single pushchairs?

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 13:00

Basl have just photographed p&t ready for sale. Its going on ebay tonight. We bought it for profit Basl. TBH I think P&T works much much better as a double. As soon as i got it tho it made me miss my double days of the boys in their lovely bright blue p&t going everywhere together! mad aren't i...

oooh look forward to pics of liner then.

have you tried a slalom basl? lovely big padded seats? not sure on width tho?

basl · 13/05/2010 13:59

Here we go nicola, shuch a shame as it would have looked fab with the retro nipper.

Not sure about the slalom. Whished they did the bjcm with 10in air wheels like the swift. Would be the perfect buggy for me.

basl · 13/05/2010 13:59

oops www.picturetrail.com/marieturner5@btinternet.

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/05/2010 14:31

Gawd that liner is lovely!
Not much advance here. Piles of stuff removed from loft and sitting in bedroom. 3 things taken to charity shop. Bank sorted, Passport photo taken [aaaargh], Fixtures and fittings list picked up.
Actually that is quite a lot isn't it. No wonder I'm frazzled.
I promise I won't give you all a blow by blow account of moving. It is would get very boring.
Agree P&T best as a double. Its fab for that.

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 14:35

oh flyme it is all horribly stressful isn't it. when is the actual move date? Is DH working or helping you?

Basl liner is lovely...my blanket is the same but just an ordinary blanket with the apple cotton on reverse.

so hit me with it...how much?!

Anyone intersted in boys BNIB Startrite sandals? 7g and 9.5f? Taking pics atm. They are lovely closed toe style perfect this weather. But boys have too many shoes (startrite about half size bigger than clarks)

basl · 13/05/2010 14:37

Just having a little sit down after reading that flyme. That is tonns as far as i am concerned. Hope you are having a cuppa and something nice now.
Trust me your moving is so much more interesting than my never ending pushchair hunt. Thankyou for reviewing all my questions.

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 14:40

did you see my reply basl?

5inthebed · 13/05/2010 14:46

Afternoon all. What a crap week I'm having! Have just picked DS2 up from school as he has a raging temperature . So he will no doubt be home tomorrow and I will be stressed further. He is currently lying on the sofa watching a dvd.

Basl, liner is lovely.

Think I'm going to put mine on Ebay. What category is best for a liner? The normal pram section or the footmuff/apron one?

Dunoon, I hate moving, don't envy you at all

basl · 13/05/2010 14:48

oh no i didn't nicola, sorry. Well it was the same price as 5in liner about £35 i think so i would be looking for as near as possible to make you an offer and me get some of the stupid mistakes with purchases funds back. You tell me what you where thinking as your are good at the price thingy.

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 14:49

oh no...i hope he perks up soon for you 5in.

can you send me (email) link for your liner and i can put post up on pram board for you for sale...how much did you want for it? save you listing ebay? they will personal pp too.

nicolamumof3 · 13/05/2010 14:50

eekk really? i think i just need to get one made if i find i will use nipper. As i would like apples one side then stars on reverse in a perfect world!!

If either of you would like me to advertise any of your bits on pram board just email me your pics
