oh yes will do Nicola - thanks for that

I really really like volo, but love spitfire as different. BUT I wanted volo to carry pver my shoulder but I am too short for it really so maybe better with (dare I say it) a zapp

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 20:17

zapp would be a bloody faff on bus tho maxy they aren't easy fold and they are hard to hold together as they don't clip together then awkward volo loads easier. Do you mean too short to carry over your shoulder? not to push surely? volo colours are diff tho i've only ever seen one other. i'd sell spitfire personally.

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 20:28

Yes to put over my shoulder lol that really made me laugh for some reason.

Oh bum. was thinking I would get bag for zapp. I just can't cope with it on my shoulder - honestly you should see me, I look a right pleb

I really like spitfire though - ALTHOUGH, I miss my XLR hood, much prefer fabric on those - but I am supposed to be going smaller I'm like 5in with her micralites I think secretly, we all have one pushchair that we love but just have to keep trying others just in case.

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 20:32

maxy couldn't you just carry volo upstairs? or isn't there a buggy storage bit on bus? has dh seen it yet

yep im a bit the same with quests aren't i...but hmmmm to another black xt tho lol!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 20:34

Well yes, i just pictured me being able to carry something without tripping up, I have to allow room for my chest before any other part of me sets off

No there is no buggy storage on our buses anymore. DH not seen it no.

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 20:36

But I could add one of those snazzy velcro straps my dad seems to use on everything? (to keep zapp closed I mean)

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 20:43

seriously its not an easy fold have you had one before? its not like a mac you need two hands and its still a faff!! i wouldn't want to do it. i only did it a couple of times.

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 20:43

i keep checking for a shiny new pic trail maxy??!

sal1309 · 10/05/2010 20:51

evening all

hope ur all ok. ive been really busy again and not had chance to get on. Really going to have to sort out my time missing mn (how sad is that lol).

will try and have a read back if my eyes will stay open

Divatheshopaholic · 10/05/2010 21:04

Hi Sal, You have baby, so big excuse being off MN.
Maxy, you seem set your mind on Zapp
Do you still have lemon linen top from Next? Ds`s new Geox got yellow straps Will look cute, i think.

horsemadgal · 10/05/2010 22:10

Dis, there was a Littlewoods coupon in NOTW yesterday for £25 off a £50 spend. I told hubby not to chuck it out but of course can't find it now gah!

maxy, if you carry Zapp by front section near the front wheels it won't unfold. However, agree with nicola, pain to fold. Easy peasy if you've a handy kerb or wall though!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 22:41

I am still undecided tbh. i still fancy a quicksmart - thing is it will sit in cupboard for occasional use so not that fussed - in a way.

Waiting on pics for a cheapy volo so might have that yet, just think the one I have is too nice to be left in a cupboard!

Diva sold that top sorry. i do have lemon next shirt though may sell, current season worn once - unsrue at the min though. Will let you know when I am go through everything properly!!

basl · 11/05/2010 00:26

Decisions Decisions Maxy, I think i make myself a bit sea sick feeling when i am trying to decide what to do about things. Although i know a girl who can't sleep when she is buying a new pushchair. It never stops me from sleeping i have Daniel that does that job well.

Sal hope you are enjoying the toddler group and not finding it too much. Busy times eh

Nicola just missed the package arriving today so will re deliver on Wednesday. I will let you have a look. I am hoping the blanket is universal as i really love that but have to wait and see. The nipper has gone now and already Olivia giving me a lecture about why is should stop sending them back. Pushed her in the bjcm with Daniel sat on her knee part of the way home from her trip to the woods with nursery. They giggled away at each other and did get some funny looks but they had fun.

nicolamumof3 · 11/05/2010 07:10

morning all early start for us today..luka came in at 6.15am then promptly wet the bed so we lept up like mad men stripping it all. luka was most confused bless him still half asleep.

gorgeous bright day here again. good job as w/m on AGAIN!

oooh looking forward to piccies then basl! Cheapy volo maybe way to go then maxy tho you did get £30 off that one so not bad really?

maxybrown · 11/05/2010 08:13

Ah lovely basl at them in baby jogger together

Off to work this morning, mad dash round as the milk I bought last night is OFF can you believe it? So no flask for DH and no milk for James yet, he will not be impressedwhen he gets up.

Oh Nicola I bet that woke you both up properly lol!

I did get 330 off yes, but have woman meant to be coming for it today, well her Husband anyway. Will have a think anyway and see. Makes me nervous having a brand new pushchair and hardly ever using it.

5inthebed · 11/05/2010 08:24

Morning everyone . I'm really tired. Ended up in A&E last night with DS1. He split the back of his head open climbing on a wall. Ended up having it glued together. Didnt get in until 1am . DS2 off to school, my sister has taken him, and she is also having DS3 for a bit. Can;t go back to bed though as bloke coming to collect my car and drop off courtesy one. Soooooooo tired!

Maxy I'd keep Spitfire, such a pretty pram.

maxybrown · 11/05/2010 08:36

Oh noooo 5in! Is he ok now?

Oh yes spitfire staying, it is very pretty, I love it! The colour is just gorgeous.

Am hoping I can maybe get a cheapy volo for about £15 or so, then I won't feel so annoyed that it is a bit big for my shoulder I am making sense to me anyway. If I was having it as my only stroller then would def keep it.

5inthebed · 11/05/2010 08:42

LOL Maxy, you're so funny. Selling a brand new pram to get the same one second hand .

DS1 is fine, still asleep, but will probably have a bad head. Can't wash his hair for 48 hours, but it is caked in blood so will try wipe most of it off, just avoid the glued area.

Micralite should be here today . Meant to pac the nipper up and arange courier last night, but last nights jaunt to A&E meant I couldn't.

Divatheshopaholic · 11/05/2010 08:43

Morning, and
OMG! Took my early washing out, found dh`s black sock, and all mt white bras and underwear now GREY Anything i can do with these now
5in, Hope ds1 is ok, Ds had his head glued last year after running into radiator
Maxy, spitfire is must stay. Im with you getting cheapy volo and sell the new one for extra money.
Nicola, we still have nappy at night, but yesterday ds came and hold my hand and said "Mamma, i want toilet" i was over the moon. Its was brilliant. we are getting there
Cant believe i washed whites with odd black sock

OP posts:
basl · 11/05/2010 08:54

Morning, 5in that sounds scary, I dread that happening in this house. Daniel broke his arm remember and all night a A&E, Your poor ds bet that hurt like mad.
Maxy are there any other makes of very light weight pushchairs that would go over your boobs eh shoulder. I know it against the grain and Macs are the way to go but just wondering if there is a light weight something for your purpose as you do have the two most stunning pushchairs ever and i know what you mean about just needing that little one for your mums.
I suggested getting a little pushchair for when my mum takes me out but she had a fit and said she could buy a bigger car at this rate

Nicola i am proud to say my nephew passed with flying colours the test of the flower baby. He returned the pink pushchair all pleased with himself. He told me that he had to baby sit 4 of them will his mates played football and they all took turns. He also said to my mum he feels sorry for me as at least his did not cry. Bless him.
Pics will be on as soon as it arrives.

basl · 11/05/2010 09:02

oh no Diva, what about one of those colour catcher sachet things. I would google that question and there is always an answer comes up, something like lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda soak or net curtain whitener. I would be angry too.

maxybrown · 11/05/2010 09:03

Ah that sounds fab about your nephew basl

Diva, DO NOT RE WASH yet!! Go and buy a colour run saver thingy majig - and good luck you don't want one to prevent colour run but to undo it, sometimes they work well. Bugger!

Basl - I have in my head about 3 diff pushchair ides, but volo is the one I can get the cheapest. So.......well you know the rest

Oh dear, James really behind on nappy front now - think he will be more like Tate Nicola. Mind you, would help if he could actually speak to tell me eh?!! He has his speech therapy review early tomorrow morning - not looking forward to that. I really don't want him to go to the speech school if I can help it

basl · 11/05/2010 09:35

Maxy jeans n top on their way. I clean forgot all about the little package. should be with you for tomorrow .
Lovely day today yet it was frosty 6.30 jogging this morning. Nice and sunny now so off to the park for a little while before nursery.

nicolamumof3 · 11/05/2010 09:58

we are off to tates swimming lesson now.

oh 5in sending your poor ds1 all my love poor little man..did shorts arrive btw? forgot to ask?

maxy don't worry about james toilet training..he will do it own time..tate was still in nappies this time last year so don't worry i know its hard not to tho.

Well done ds diva! And yes hopefully colour run remover will work? otherwise a load of new undies for you
