Rang Marshall ward,

they said they have been having problems with that code so have cancelled it but will be sending another out in a bout a week.

5inthebed · 10/05/2010 11:45

Nipper all washed. How awkward is it to remove the covers! Just need to tackle putting it all back on. Oh joy!

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 17:31

afternoon all ladies.

had fab trip with my mum. Got her gorgeous purple maxi dress for my brothers wedding she looked stunning! just sad we won't be going.

5in you are brave washing nipper! i've never had to do one luckily as it does look right pita.

mum and dad have been talking about moving to Norfolk for years..they are now def going next year and have asked us to go with them! loads to think about particularly tom and his dad. But be fantastic lifestyle for the boys.

Basl don't forget me when nipper liner arrives

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 17:32

oh dis im a bit p*d off with addititions et al spent alot with them last year and they NEVER send me codes i want some sandals grrr.

5inthebed · 10/05/2010 17:36

I know Nicola, but I'd hate to send an unwashed pram to someone. Think it's rather rude. I can;t find where the last two screws go in though . Will have another look later, unless you can help. I can see where they go on the frame, but not in the material. Its the bits by the clicky hinge bit.

Norfolk sounds lovely Nicola. How ar would it be from Toms dad?

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 18:16

i've never removed covers 5in so no help im afraid. Scrubbed my camel one on the frame and my black one still really clean so no need there thank goodness.

Norfolk about 1hr45m so a bit of away

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:18

Hi all

5in - you ar very very brave, I vowed I would never remove Nipper covers again - not for anyone [gri] it was the getting them back on that was hard, the seat cover just wouldn't go back on, was a real pita.

Well I really like volo but not keeping it - I know Nicola now exactly what you mean about not knowing which one to sell, and I would keep that and spitfire too - but just can't, not when it's brand new But I am impressed that I like it!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:19

......and still a little reluctant to let it go

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 18:24

oh maxy can we have pics?! was just about to email you and see wher eyou had disappeared to!

went JL today got nice cotton knit zip hoody for luka red stripe nice. Not entirely neutral but lovely all the same. And green stripe towelling shorts. V.bright!!

EnchantedWithGordon · 10/05/2010 18:26

Thats what I don't understand Nic I have several credit accounts spend alot and pay on time but no codes for me

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:27

oh yes of course

oh I love that JL hoody - they didn't have it left to fit James last time I went - oh yes they are the shorts I got
Mind you, so bloomin cold today, I can't picture us ever wearing shorts!

Need to be selling anyway, not buying atm

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 18:28

i know enchanted..think they want those that don't spend to spend but i think they should also reward their loyal customers...can feel an email coming on actually!!

what you got for sale then maxy?!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:34

a volo? lol

Need to sort through still, and make myself part with things and stop being silly. We have enough t shirts here to sink a ship

5inthebed · 10/05/2010 18:36

Sorry Nicola, I meant could you check your pram and see where it is screwed into please. Just above the hinge bit on either side.

It was an absolute PITA getting the cover back on, was in near tears because I just couldn't get it on at the leg bit.

Micralite should be here tomorrow. Have to wait in anyway to get car collected and courtesy one dropped of. Its a manual one! I've not driven a manual one since January. Needless to say I'll be doing the minimal driving in it, don't feel overly confident driving again, I am thinkin I should just give it up as a bad job, but then today on the school run, it was chaotic getting the bus.

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 18:38

noooo don't give up. my nipper all packed away will see if i can find it under ironing pile in utility.

i think i prefer my sunflower volo but thanks maxy

Divatheshopaholic · 10/05/2010 18:40

Hi all,
Its been cold day here.... Brrr....
We went M&S outlet and i bought two linen trousers 9.50 each Bargain
Nicola, sounds like lovely shopping at JL. I love JL stuff, great quality and cheaper than Boden
5in, i never took covers off prams, too. I tend to wash with warm soapy water when its warm and sunny and leave outside. I know someone took Bob covers off
Maxy, i think i set my mind on Volo now. Nicola told me many times, but im such a dizzy mare, gone for Triumph instead.
Cant believe how big it is in RL

Divatheshopaholic · 10/05/2010 18:42

Nicola, have you got any pics of your volo? never seen yellow one?

5inthebed · 10/05/2010 18:42

Maybe it's just me who removes the covers to wash them Mutsy covers are a nightmare to put back on!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:43

oh 5in I couldn't help but laugh then - I nearly posted earlier today to say I was damn well near tears trying to get the seat part back on Nipper, glad it wasn't just me!!

I'll never drive, petrified of it since we had that crash, would rather walk everywhere I have even tried to get the train before now when we go on hols.....terrible

5inthebed · 10/05/2010 18:49

Yes, well I never wanted to drive and DH made me take lessons. Best thing I've done as far as kids concerned.

DH went spare when he found out I'd bought another pram. He can't understand why I need two prams. Well, said I, I wanted one for the car, but it didn;t have air tyres for when I walk, so bought one with air tyres as well. His face was a mixture of and lol

Found a Maclaren comfort pack in the back of the cupboard today. Pretty sure they're the ones I promised Carrie ages ago . I have a memory like a tin of spam these days.

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:55

Oh and one thing I do really like about Volo is that velcro bit on hood that pulls it upright and if you un velcro the hood, it has an ever so slight recline - well enough to stop head lolling anyway I would imagine!!

Oh 5in DH is always on at me to drive _ i brush it off with oh we can't afford 2 cars anyway so no point blah de blah. maybe I would feel better if it was ME behind the wheel?

Would love an old mini - best get doing lottery for that though!

maxybrown · 10/05/2010 18:58

I would take covers off if easy 5in - but my pushchairs are generally immaculate anyway so rarely wash them - baby jogger is easy just popper off! But if i had a nipper, it would be into the garden with a scrbbing brush I'm afraid - not after last time

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 19:31

{grin} i remember asking you maxy about nipper when i had my camel up for sale and you said nooooo so i heeded that advice.

diva pics of volo most probably here yes you are right about seat maxy it does let it back a bit luka has slept well in it more than once and we are taking on hols for tate. Really fabby stroller. But still considering black xt that would take some explaining to dh! if i sold quest and volo could get new xt nearly

nicolamumof3 · 10/05/2010 19:39

maxy could you email me your addy please love..and i'll pop those socks in post tomorrow thanks! X

BexieID · 10/05/2010 19:49

lol 5in, I feel your pain with covers. I had to take cdrive ones off to use carrycot so have washed them but i'm not looking forward to putting them back on! Loola and XT ones were easier (think it was me you were going to send a comfort pack to, lol).

My parents took the P&T ones off and washed them for me, lol. I can't wrk the seat out on Skate let alone contemplate seeing if covers come off. Will just wash the liner.

Car cost £75 on MOT today. Am getting plum MB from Lisa. At least I can use that to work oit how to get cdrive covers back on . Skate meets my needs atm. Still use it in carrycot mode and Erin looks much happier in that compared to the MB one.

But, I don't need Skate and 2 MBs, lol.

I want these. Erin will be well cute in them toddling around next year.
