nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 13:16

that sounds nice i would see how xt goes without cover how much you hoping for?

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:16

Oh and forgot to bore tell everyone that my son said "Ding Dong" last night - clear as a bell

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 13:17

Looking at completed listings I am hoping for around £60 ?????

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 13:18

won't they leave with neighbour? i never wait in for parcels..they normally leave them down our side gate anyway.

i haven't undone boden towelling shorts yet i should but they don't look v.soft to me? i want them to be soft for boys to pull on when they get out of pool on hols

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 13:19

yaaay go James just you wait maxy!!

you should easy get that without a r/c i reckon dunoon put it on for £70 bin/bo or are you doing auction?

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:22

I have some towelling Boden shorts here too, can't decide wether to sell them.

Ooh I can't wait - hope more words come!!

Yes hopefully they will leave parcel next door, going out anyway

Is it target wheels dunoon?

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 13:24

So you think it's better to sell without raincover than with one with hole in it?
I was surprised that on completed listings they aren't selling for much more than 50/60 even with raincovers. Also can you tell meif mine has target wheels but without the reflective part and newer style harness is it a 2008 model?

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 13:29

i would list it as 2008/9 thats low isn't it? i thought they'd go for 75ish with r/c. so i'd say do yours with the r/c as it is i wouldn't go to expense of replacing. so you like quest then?

maxy what sizse towelling shorts did you get and what colour? i've got blue ones and green stars. might get another hat they are nice and thick and really cover tates face well....from sun i mean [grin)

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 13:33

Which hats are those?

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:48

ooh hat - now theres an idea! have no hats whatsoever.

I have ones from last year in age 3 the bright blue stripe ones - they are very soft actually, but not impressed with the hoody this time particuarly. Just boring!!

I'm off to look at hats.........it's chucking it down here

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:51

sold out sob

basl · 29/04/2010 13:52

"ding dong merrily on high" la la la la la la la. Well done James we will be singing songs together before you know it...and mummy will be on here saying he just won't give up with the chatter. So pleased. I take hat off to you (trying to keep in the hat convo]

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:54

I only could see the ding dong merrily on high bit at first Basl - and that alone made me laugh - I nearly joined in with jingle bells or something but then read whole post and realised was oot probably appropriate

Thank you - though maybe that is the phrase for this year - next year we will have a other new one?

Right braving the rain......

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 13:55

boden hats dunoon. they are expensive at £16 but lovely and thick not especially soft that put me off actually but would def keep sun off and tate loves the pirate one. i may get a medium for him actually. think all small sold out in boys?

hiya basl.

sun still out here bit hazy but v.warm. 4 loads of washing dry. ironing inbetween popping on here.

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 13:59

yes they are he has a big head though but reviews say they are big?

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 14:05

I have mac covers and hood out and my cushion covers so don't rain yet please! XT all scrubbed too.
I like GAP hats. The ones that have a brim all round. They are expensive too but very covering and thickish. My girls have small heads so sometimes fit in baby sizes still. having said all that they are not good at wearing hats at all.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:06

i don't think they are big especially. would only fit tate this year. was thinking of getting m for tate and giving small to luka? tho tate does love the pirate one. am watching stars one on ebay.

what volo are you watching?

....must get on with ironing

Divatheshopaholic · 29/04/2010 14:07

Then he around lunch, i found him baout to poo in, so sat him down, and he did it.

Hiya nic you are still getting sorted for the holiday then? Summer hats etc. Bet you can't wait. Just remember and keep your boob in that bikini . I did feel for you with that story but it did make me giggle a bit too. Really is the sort of thing that would happen to me. Do you remember that judy finnagin's top falling off at some awards. That is more my scale.

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 14:08

No Boden sunhats for girls

horsemadgal · 29/04/2010 14:11

Well done James, ding dong is fab!!

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:11

don't give up...if you can do it over a couple of days where you can stay in..so maybe concentrate over bank hols? it is much easier. as i've always found more likely to wee in pot or loo if they having nothing on their bottom.

don't worry whether he sits or stands whatever is easiest for him i'd say.

basl im v.excited now just four weeks til we go. three weeks tho tom goes away to france with school by himself thats scary!! have to get him packed up for that. he gets back on a friday night we go to greece the sunday morning.

i will keep boobie under control!!

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:13

can't remember gap hats? are they fisherman style i prefer them in heat to caps more coverage and luka is so far. Tate already caught sun this year. and both seem to have hayfever. Tom gets it so no surprise.

Divatheshopaholic · 29/04/2010 14:13

Ding dong
Thats sounds great James! May, he wont stop talking soon.

horsemadgal · 29/04/2010 14:14

Aww Diva. My DS1 wanted to stand like daddy. Def easier if need a pee when out n about (boys so easy when out haa!)
He wouldn't do a pee though if asked, would hold it until he decided to go. A control thing, think common for boys.
I'd hold off until he can tell you he needs to go before he starts peeing. Much easier then.
