Well having said that the last Gap hat I bought was about 2 years ago. Was like the fisherman's but with wider brim.

beautifulgirls · 29/04/2010 14:18

Hi Ladies - please can I pick your brains? Does anyone have any experience of the Jane Sonic stroller at all - good or bad? Many thanks.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:18

sounds perfect dunoon.

i do agree hmg. tho luka just wanted pants on and couldn't tell me for first day or so then just cracked it and has been a superstar! all i ever here now is "mummy i need a weeeeeeeeee"

basl · 29/04/2010 14:18

Diva i will be paying close attention to how you get on as i struggled with Olivia. I think i put too much pressure on her and i agree if it can be done by putting everything else on hold and staying in but easier said than done i know. Goodluck
One of the girls on the night out is coming now for a coffee to show me her Jane Dakar. She said i was going on and on about it on the night out because i spoted the change bag she had when she arrived. She said i was all for getting her husband to lug it out of the car then to show me. Me and wine to not go together. Well at least i can look at the pushchair that is now discontinued.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:20

basl

horsemadgal · 29/04/2010 14:21

Oh goodness sorry basl still not measured buggy for you.

Divatheshopaholic · 29/04/2010 14:24

I really dont go back to nappy and its only early days, i must not give up.
I had Jane Energy for hols 3-4 years ago, its was good buggy, sits quite high and well padded. Is Sonic smaller like Mc Quest?

OP posts:
basl · 29/04/2010 14:27

Oh Hmg don't worry no hurry really. I would wap out the tape measure when she comes but she thinks i am a bit of loon anyway without all that. Precious little one have offered me the one in can can for the same price. What do you think? I also have a spare hood that is currently being made all black and can get a spare seat for £30 in all black so two sets. Really this does not get any less addictive with me but hey i really don't care. I like pushchairs and thats that.

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 14:50

Still not out, JL man came as i was putting shoes on

Do you now, thise baby section 12/18 months shorts I got yesterday are ever so slightly bigger than the age 3 shorts i got him from boys section! madness.

Oh you are all putting me to shame now with this potty training............but I reckon even if I stay in for a couple of days it won't make much difference as he really seems to have no idea when he needs a wee - just seems shocked after he's had one

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 14:51

bad spellings sorry, was rushing!

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 14:59

don't feel rushed maxy..don't forget i only did tate a year ago..he just wasn't ready. he was 3.5yr.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 15:02

oh and i agree jl sizing is v.v.random.

luka's shorts are 2/3 fit him fine quite generous actually.

basl · 29/04/2010 16:36

Oh no the dakar does not fit well out the door. It was a bit of a shove to be honest. I think i am going to get a nipper and be done with it. Comfy or not it will have to do. 5in are you still loving yours?

horsemadgal · 29/04/2010 17:02

LOL basl another one crossed off your list then. Is the Nipper not just as wide?
BOB is def narrower but he's a monster folded.

basl · 29/04/2010 17:09

Hmg, the nipper is slightly narrower, would you believe i have had one and tested it and it fits but i really liked my elite then but did not realise what pita it was to get in and out my door. I have ordered a nipper now so i will have to lump it. The dakar was lovley as well, what a huge seat.

BexieID · 29/04/2010 17:28

My nearest Farmfoods is 1 min walk away, lol. I can't quite see it from the window!

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 17:31

Basl - just move house

Anyway, I am back from my "33" minute walk - over two hours later i am home!!!

I am so wet you would not believe, I have very sore tooties

But, I had a moan at a woman in there who got huffy because she had to wait and so she threw (literally) all of her stuff back into the trolley and reversed into James in the pushchair and just kept coming and shoved him out of the way - so I said That was excuse me was it? nothing, so i said you rude cow! Hmph, and that was that......then walked home a different way (I got lost going) and DH passed us - passed us can you believe and di not see us - waaaaaaaaaaahhhh.

Anyway, home now

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2010 18:23

Lol maxy. And annoyed with you at rude woman.
The rain has finally started here.
I found DD1 a nightmare to toilet train. Felt far too much pressure and passed it on to her I think. DDs 2 and 3 were very easy and I was very laid back about it all. I followed them really with a little push and encouragement along the way. My problem now is persuading DD3 to wipe her own bum thank you very much! That cry goes out 'mumeeee' usually as I sit down to a meal or nice cuppa.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 18:24

oh maxy i did get your text..but couldn't read the second page as my down key won't work glad you are now home safe and dry. DH often does that to us too!

oh basl hope you like the second nipper...what colour did you get?

maxybrown · 29/04/2010 18:29

sorry was a long text will remember to send short bursts in future

I will relax then Dunoon and what will be will be - he really does not like pants - would just be nuddy if he had his way

It was a good job James was asleep as one of his other new words (yes i forgot he had another one!) is "hey!!" in a most indignant way so sure she would have got that if he was awake.

Next has some new things online Nicola!! Some very nice lemon shorts - and green they are nice, saw them in the shop the other day

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 18:42

mmmh yes nice like the purple

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 18:45

bought these last week too they are nice!

5inthebed · 29/04/2010 18:46

Wonka, If you were Ebaying the peach, I'd put it on for £400 ONO, and footmuff £40 ONO. If you're lookin to sell on here, I'd say £350. I would love a peach, but my ds3 is just too big, even though he is not yet 18 months . What colour is it?

Basl, still lovin my nipper, although me being me, I am bored of it and want a 4 wheeler now. Was thining about swapping it for the Jane on the bor, but they don;t fold up as small, and I need something smallish in my boot.

I want an XT I think, but only want to pay £50 max for it, there are few locally to me, missed out on one last night which went for £43, but was older style one. Wish I'd kept my apples quest now.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2010 18:49

i didn't think you liked xt handles tho 5in?

my quest on ebay if it goes it goes i need the money tbh. not fussed either if i keep it tho the apples is lovely.

5inthebed · 29/04/2010 18:58

I prefer foam handles, but I like the big wheels on XT. Don't like small wheels on quest, but I prefer the hood to XT.
