Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

I considered Verity for one of mine. Love it.

Carrielou it's crap isn't it. Whe the heck do these people think they are trying it on. And no comeback for sellers!

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:01

I love Jans daughter's name

carrielou2007 · 22/04/2010 22:04

Annoying as I KNOW ds never wore it and I bought it from Next, I think it was 12.99 or 10.99 and she got it for 2.70!!!

I liked Harrison (know it's v popular) but with surname of Halls sounds ridiculous If ds was a girl he would have been Evangaline/Evie Rose.

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:04

we couldn't agree on any name - both work in schools so both could put almost any name with a hideous experience with a child at school. So he got named after my Grandad (my lovely lovely Grandad) and middle name Eadric.

Grandma's middle name is Naiara

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:05

though not exactly sure how it is spelt - been meaning to ask my Mum for ages about that.

5inthebed · 22/04/2010 22:08

Maxy, whats wrong with A names? DS1 is an A.

Carrie, yes to GP. Whats your PP?

I like Nicole for a girl as well

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:10

But your DS hasn't got Sk's surname 5in I just meant with her surname!

nicolamumof3 · 22/04/2010 22:10

your ds has lovely name maxy! both my lovely grandad and my (sometimes) lovely brothers name. Tate's middle name is same.

yes Janx dd name is lovely too

carrielou2007 · 22/04/2010 22:12

I like A names (saddo, my name begins with a C as does dd's so wanted ds to begin with an a like his dad )

5inthebed [email protected] and email the same if you can email me your address too please

nicolamumof3 · 22/04/2010 22:13

yes i liked Edie too for a girl Edie Eden hahah!!

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:14

It is always dodgy asking about names opinions differ so much and it is so so personal - sometimes once the child is here and you "know" it, the name just seems right.

I wanted Zachary to begin with and my Mum's face was a picture.

I really like Tate! Little man Tate, sweet

nicolamumof3 · 22/04/2010 22:15

mmmh everyone thought i had an obsession with T names i.e Terry, Tommy, Tate...so then we had Luka...

But must admit i do like L names now for DC4 top of lists are Lola and Lenny

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:16

ha ha ha ha Nicola.

I liked Billy - but Billy Burrows - he would have been classed as a "rum un" before he even proved he was

5inthebed · 22/04/2010 22:16

Oh riht, thought there was an unwritten rule about A names

My initials were MM before I got married and DS3 is HH. His middle name is James.

How do you pronounce his middle name Maxy?

Will pay tomorrow Carrie if thats ok?

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:17

I loved Matilda - then my Sister started saying oh yes Tilly - aaaaaaarrrrrrrgh put me right off.

nicolamumof3 · 22/04/2010 22:17

I loved Tate right from the start... i agree names are extremely personal..never asked anyones views tho apart from Terry's. He hated all names for both of them!

5inthebed · 22/04/2010 22:18

I called Ds2 Daniel, with every intention of calling him Danny as a NN. SIL came to see him and said Danny, and I hated the way she said it, so he gets Dan now, has never been called Danny.

DS3 is Harry, but we call him Toad (don't ask)

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:19

ee dric - tis a name from History (surprise surprise DH chose it) still, was an improvement on Adolf I suppose

We liked the James E Burrows

I think it is fine to have two same letter names - just some sound odd! My Brother is CC and that is fine, it's sylables isn' it that do it

carrielou2007 · 22/04/2010 22:20

Fine 5inthebed, need to find where I've shoved it somewhere in my spare room carefully stored it, will try to post sat or otherwise mon.

Divatheshopaholic · 22/04/2010 22:21

5in, my picturetrail is here sorry i always moan but i always forget to check back
I like Aluna an Aaron for my dc, but we have surname starts with A, so did not fancy AA.
I love my dc name, they are simple but nice

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:22

MIL calls him Little Jimmy Tac Toot quite like it.

Also Jeb - his initials

carrielou2007 · 22/04/2010 22:22

Love the name Daniel but my BIL is Daniel and thought people would whisper think it odd

5inthebed · 22/04/2010 22:22

James E Burrows sounds like a famous author or something equally fab.

Adolf Please tell me your DH wasn't thinking of using that!

maxybrown · 22/04/2010 22:28

it was a standing joke - with him being a History teacher - noooooooooo way lol!

I liked Oliver and thought he would go for it as loves Oliver Cromwell and he is a relative of mine too, ha!

It is awful when you work in a school, a name you have wanted all of your life suddenly becomes struck off your list

Divatheshopaholic · 22/04/2010 22:29

Dc have fancy foreign names, too. But its not on birth certificate. I made desicion not to put it on, they can choose when they older.
