Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

i went out today, and tried some pumps, sneaker type shoes. i tried on ed hardy white patent laceless sneakers, i liked them, but wondered if theyw ere too chav i wonder if buy myself cons
i trying not too buy birkens this year, they make foot realy flat and around imo.

GeekOfTheWeek · 16/04/2010 16:56

Hi Diva, sounds like retail therapy is just what you need A trip to the trafford centre with a nice lunch and wine is what cheers me up!

I have decided I need a new ym bag for the wedding next week. Do I order the one I really want off the pink lining website and risk it not being delivered or do I nip to jl and buy my second choice? Help!

Nic, have you seen any nice flip flops for older boys? Ds1 is nearly 10 and I haven't seen any nice ones so far. DD got some gorgeous ones from jl, they were only £6 I need new sandals too. In fact, a trip to tc may be required!

nicolamumof3 · 16/04/2010 17:56

Tom won't wear sandals totally given up..they aren't cool apparently. He wears those canvas plimsolls and vans and will wear crocs (but certainly not first choice anymore for him) i like leather sandals still or leather flip flops look cool on older ones imo. they sometimes do them in GAP?

the ed hardy shoes sound nice diva you got a link? i love my cons i got grey jersey hi tops. We just did food shop and i realised we ALL had cons on

nicolamumof3 · 16/04/2010 17:57

GeekOfTheWeek · 16/04/2010 19:31

Wedding a week on sat. jl didn't have the one I wanted but have just ordered a ju ju be one from the boards on here

Haven't looked in gap. Josh won't wear sandals but will wear flip flops if trendy ones!

Lol at you all in matching cons in the supermarket!

Divatheshopaholic · 16/04/2010 21:53

OMG
i( and dh) have been cleaning sudocreme off the carpet, toys, bedding, clothes all evening ds went very quite in his room, guess what he done? he put sudocreme on his bunny and teddy soft toys (between the legs, too) grin]
in case your little one get hold of sudocrem, hot water and fairy liquid works wonders phew.

5inthebed · 16/04/2010 22:05

lol Diva. I always get a sick feeling in my stomach when my kids go quiet because they're always up to no good!

Just been food shopping for two hours. Asda and Tesco! Sick as a chip now.

horsemadgal · 16/04/2010 22:12

Awww Diva, my eldest did that too. It was thick in his hair too, had to scrub for ages with fairy liquid. He never tried that again!

Disenchanted3 · 16/04/2010 22:14

Awww Diva we had a talc incident recently! Was coughing for hours!

Divatheshopaholic · 16/04/2010 22:46

God, why do we have children? Ds is real terror, very quite but cheeky little monkey he is. He said "im a silly boy"" sorry mama, sorry daddy" followed by kisses, was too busy cleaning, he was kissing me on my back and bum somewhere not particularly i wanted get kisses
Anyway, all cleaned. need to check the carper tomorrow again. But teddy, bunny, and his clothes seems recovered from sudodeath
Nicola,ed hardy pumps were similar to these ones, but white with ed hardy logo, black and red hearts and roses, with love kills i like them as they were laceless. and funky with linen trousers, i thought.

Disenchanted3 · 16/04/2010 22:49

I've had a good night tonight on ebay listed bee liner, p&t newborn r/c, outlook sunshade and they'll all gone within about 10 mins!

Also have someone interested in Quest and i'coo went today with a little profit so am happy

maxybrown · 16/04/2010 22:49

Oh diva, last year as we were getting ready to go to a VW camping weekend, DS sat on our bed with a large tub of sudacrem and coverd our cat in it - it was all over our bed, him and well, the cat! I couldn't get it off her for ages!!

Disenchanted3 · 16/04/2010 22:50

But unfortunatly have to pay £80 for a dog sitter whilst we go to caravn next month so it will all go to her! Booo!

Divatheshopaholic · 16/04/2010 23:01

Dis, 80pounds How long are you going?
Maxy, i can imagine your cat covered in sudocrem At least we had soft toys to wash in hot water

Disenchanted3 · 16/04/2010 23:02

5 days she having them 4, its £20 a day for both dogs, shes lovely though. My sister will be here but shes a teenager and works so I doubt she'd spoil them like they are used to so they are going on their own little doggy holiday!

BexieID · 16/04/2010 23:38

dis, whats i'coo like? Quite like the princess one.

maxybrown · 16/04/2010 23:43

Doe anyone know where you can get the quicksmart backpack pushchair? the one with 3 wheels?

nicolamumof3 · 17/04/2010 08:14

morning all!

i like the shoes if they were a bit plainer a think diva? my cons are plain grey so go with anything

quicksmart doesn't get good reviews maxy, you'd be better with a zapp if you want something small?

carrielou2007 · 17/04/2010 09:04

Morning

I've seen a few of the quicksmarts and think they look really funky but have also heard they are not very good quality??

Storksak came this morning, very pretty baby blue, doesn't really look like a change bag which I think is the idea but not my cup of tea. So now spent 45 on this and skip hop ad 63 on cowshed, should've just ordered the one I really wantef for 64.95!!

maxybrown · 17/04/2010 09:20

Need it to be smaller than a zapp. It would literally be used a couple of times a year prob. Not worth paying all that money for a zapp.

Take yesterday for example, we went over to my Mums and as we were going for our tea and DH coming over after work I didn't take a pushchair as it slows us down. We have to get 3 buses and it takes about an hour and a half. But with one of those quicksmarts I can take it upstairs with me (James' treat when on bus with no pushchair!) no problems. But mainly, I would have a small pushchair for when I got to mums IF needed. Obviously mostly I would take pushchair anyway as I go for the whole day and come back home on buses again.

BUT (sorry tis long) when I got to Mums yesterday, James was tired and we had to go over to Tesco so it would have been ideal. If Tesco had had those £10 ones left we would have got one of those and squeezed it secretly into my Mums house - that's how little it would be used you see!

maxybrown · 17/04/2010 09:21

Oh and, I don't want the newer 4 wheels ones they don't fold up as small as the backpack model

maxybrown · 17/04/2010 09:41

or a volo? Would that be better? Would I be able to stick that over my shoulder say, Nic?

carrielou2007 · 17/04/2010 09:44

I was about to say a volo, I still slung mine over my shoulder when out with dd in the car (more for me to hang onto really) when pregnant and didn't want to wait for the lift in shops would go uo the escalator.

maxybrown · 17/04/2010 09:46

Yeah, don't know why i didn't think of that before.

Love yours Nic, but I fear above my budget

maxybrown · 17/04/2010 10:07

Nic - pjs just arrived thank you no vests or VHC top yet though, good old RM!!
