Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

Good morning,

Carrie, I had the tulips ym change bag, sold it last week. No worries about you selling to the first dibs lady! I'm watching a blue one on ebay. Was it a stripey skip hop you got? I really like those. If you don't like it though I am more than happy to send you one from near me.

How is everyone?

Overcast and chilly today, had big plans for washing but doubt I will be able to get it dry. Going to do some batch cooking and blending ready for weaning ds2.

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 10:25

Morning. Glorious sun shine here today. Just waiting for DH to get back from doctors, one of his fingers is starting to smell a bit funky. HE was back at hospital about it on Saturday because a few of them are still bleeding. He's had to take time off work as well, as he isn't meant to lift anything, and he is a delivery driver, so not the best. Thinking of contacting a solicitor about it all.

maxybrown · 12/04/2010 10:27

I would 5in for sure. That is disgraceful isn't it? Obviously infected then if smelly? Poor him. Can you send some sunshine down please?

Have just PP'd you by the way, hope you got it ok?

Right motivation is the word!!

Disenchanted3 · 12/04/2010 10:28

Sounds crappy 5in, hope hes well again soon,

its cloudy and horrid here, I thought we would have sun from now on

My hauck should be here by 12, I'm well excited not had a new buggy in ages!

I'm sick of my quest, its good for quick trips but not as a main buggy, and it gets filthy really easily, am sick of washing the covers.

The bootom seat has started to get droopy too, only had it about 4 months!

nicolamumof3 · 12/04/2010 10:31

shouldn't be like that dis? quests can usually be run into the ground so to speak?

5in you know they should have investigated that accident properly i think its disgraceful i'd def get some legal advice poor dh quite traumatic i expect.

Disenchanted3 · 12/04/2010 10:34

Its like the seats all baggy at the bottom nick, its like bowed, like a hamock.

Maybe I have done something wrong when putting the covers on after washing, i'll have a look

Disenchanted3 · 12/04/2010 10:35

nick?? OMG sorry nic!! lol

nicolamumof3 · 12/04/2010 10:39

is the black support bit which attaches to the frame ok? you need to thread the crotch strap through this as well as seat fabric?

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 10:39

The problem is that he has no skin on two fingers (icky) so they are open to infection. He has bandages on them, but you can smell it through the bandage . I'm hoping it heals and he doesn't need a skin graft.

And he is being really stubborn and refusing to take time off work as he feels he is letting people down! He isn't going in today tohuh, hopefully the doc talks sense into him.

Dis, I want a new pram, and its all your fault . Let us know what the Icoo is like, quite fancy a 4 wheeler after having a three wheeler for a while. NOT a mac though, I'm not a fan of macs.

Disenchanted3 · 12/04/2010 10:41

What happened to him??

nicolamumof3 · 12/04/2010 10:45

goodness 5in i would def ring the place you went to and seek legal advice sharpish.

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 10:47

See here Dis.

maxybrown · 12/04/2010 10:50

Yes def 5in, go to a no win place they will love it! Imagine if that had happened to a child, could have taken a hand off! After wishing I had taken James finger incident further I would def do it. I am still annoyed with myself for letting mild mannered DH deal with it.

You liked spitfire though didn't you 5in?

I never see them about or the elites and when on hols I saw both within ten mins of each other!

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 10:53

Sorry Maxy, forgot to say, got your PP, thanks

I did like Spitfire, but the hood got dirty when you folded it if the wheels were dirty.

I think I need a car pram, maybe a zapp or something, but I love my nipper, so want a 4 wheeler.

maxybrown · 12/04/2010 11:24

Oh yes, that is driving me bonkers about the hood! I could keep it up in the house but makes no diff as still gonna be folded in car. Grrr.

Did I see wheel covers somewhere for that purpose or did I dream it?.........off to investigate.

5in just reading your thread not read all of it but yes he should have been given a copy of first aid incident

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 12:00

I used to just put carrier bags over them before I folded. Saved having to wash covers.

Just had a mad blitz in my living room, even mopped the floor.

DS3 in bed, and the other two are watching Tom and Jerry. Will need to feed them soon I guess.

I thought as much Maxy. I've been trying to contact WnW for days now, but the phone is just ringing. I'm yet to get a responce from the Health and Safety team as well.

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 12:03

Does anyone live near this?

maxybrown · 12/04/2010 12:11

They sound a bit useless don't they? Was it the bottom of the slide do you think that was rough? Terrible.

Yes of course, carrier bags.........now will i ever remember? sigh........

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 12:13

It was at the bottom of the slide, where the childrens bums will be. Its shocking!

How adorable is this twin pram. I could just imagine two babies sleeping snuggly in there.

Disenchanted3 · 12/04/2010 15:01

I was looking at that yesterday 5in, its so cute!

Not sure I like my targo

Its really nice and clean and girly and pretty and I've gotten loads with it but I think I need a bee!

I'm just not gonna be happy with it.

I'm going to order the sola now and see how it is when it arrives.

GeekOfTheWeek · 12/04/2010 16:26

5in, has he been given antibiotics? If he is loosing pay etc I would def see a solicitor. Have you told the pool? They should be closing the slide until its fixed.

I picked my bee up last week and I love it. So does dh despite him being adament he didn't like them in the shop Need accessories for it now though

carrielou2007 · 12/04/2010 16:27

Sola's are nice,I was looking at themin M and P afew weeks ago, very like the streety though.

5inthebed · 12/04/2010 16:43

It isn't infected thank od, the smell is just blood . Have contacted one of those no win no fee places, so we will see. Would it be a ood idea to contact WnW as well do you think?

GeekOfTheWeek · 12/04/2010 16:58
