OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2010 22:01

very very strange couple eh? he was very strange and why didn't she just get on with it couldn't she hear that bloody heartbeat dropping. v.scary. i couldn't help but push with mine? strange man wasn't very encouraging was he?

maxybrown · 09/02/2010 22:10

I know it was really really weird. Like he had somewhere else to be I said to Dh that dropping heartbeat would have been enough to rip yourself in half wouldn't it??

I almost imagined her saying, I can't them sayong ok, and that being it, no baby odd odd odd.

I panicked near the end as James' hearbeat was getting slower and slower, horrid. After he was born DH confessed he was getting ready to strangle someone if needbe over it!

carrielou2007 · 09/02/2010 22:34

Horrible that was.

Crkey 3 weeks ago it was me shouting/huffing/roaring/grunting and I couldn't not push if I had a gun to my head!!

Pliko buyer coming tomorrow and also wants a few more things I have - off to hunt out more suitable stuff they may want!!

maxybrown · 10/02/2010 08:20

Morning everyone!

Well I had to get up early as couldn't breath, grrrr. So managed to jump into shower before Dh, at least made me feel a little more human! Only a little mind you....hehehehe.

nicola, are you coming to manchester?
im near manchester but it about 1 hour drive, if i dont get lost
i think i missed exciting programme last night, everyone is talking about it today.
feeling tired and low today, might as well just go po and stay home

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2010 10:24

Yes i may well be if PIL will babysit little ones we are staying in Lancaster for week for half term to visit them. Terry has meeting in manchester on the Tuesday so thought i could take trip with Tom. Be lovely for us all to meet up.

Divatheshopaholic · 10/02/2010 10:36

Thats nice idea, Hope you all ejoy it.
I also planning to meet friend at Trafford, she is having Butchers stripe mac.

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2010 10:38

Is trafford ctr outside of city?

maxybrown · 10/02/2010 10:39

Yes it is Nic, takes about half an hour on a bus to Trafford centre

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 10/02/2010 10:41

Yes, it outside of the Manchester city center. I think, you need to take bus. City center is good but Trafford center is all indoors, good for weather proof shopping and free parking.

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2010 10:41

Shan't bother with that then must be plenty of shopping otherwise?

maxybrown · 10/02/2010 10:44

Oh yes there is! I know my way around well obviously lol.

Morning. Well I just unplumbed the washing machine and moved it into the dining room, pushed the dishwasher back in and it's now on, cleaned the space where the washing machine was, tidied kitchen generally and am sitting down with a cup of tea and two croissants and jam. I deserve them!
Missed the births as I was watching the opposite in CSI. Births make me cry. DD2's heart beat slowed right down and the midwife was shouting up the corridor for help, got her scissors out and cut me and then I was told to push. I felt oddly calm strangely. And luckily DD was fine.

maxybrown · 10/02/2010 10:51

Right I need some help. Friend has just had a baby girl, but she has twin girls who were 2 a couple of weeks ago. So she obviously has everything really.

Need some ideas as to what I can get her and it must be postable!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2010 10:55

I think rather than clothes a little toy or comforter? Maybe a nice blanket? maybe something personalised?

5inthebed · 10/02/2010 10:59

That sounds scary Dunoon. I watched the birth show last night, and cried when both babies were born, always do at births.

Maxy, Boots have some gorgeous knitted blankets in. Would make a lovely present.

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2010 10:59

oooh do they? im sooo into blankets atm.

lake windermere btw 5in!

carrielou2007 · 10/02/2010 11:00

FMTD that made my inards go all funny - ouch for you!!

Maxy I know it seems boring but how about a voucher for say Next?? Not as nice as getting a little somehting though. I am a fussy one but I've never had anything given to me that I've changed. I think it's that someone else has chosen it and I've been chuffed to pieces.
