Afternoon

Sorry you are not so keen on your new buggy basl, every time we think we have the perfect combination we change our minds again!

I have to find 160 pounds as I bumped into the back of a car last week (he has a TINY scratch and being a driving instructor I expect I'm paying for every other scratch to be resprayed too ). So annoying, all the things I need that money for but never mind.

George pig footmuff came today and it's lovely, think it is long enough to fit the cam so might sell blue cam footmuff so don't have to feel guilty about buying it

basl · 20/02/2010 17:31

oooch that is annoying carrie. Glad your ok and just a bump. The George footmuff sounds lovley bet you have a lot of people asking about it.
I am off to visit my parents 10min away. Dh has taken Olivia & Daniel to tesco shopping very brave man and he will drop off my sisters kids after being here all day. My dad has not been well at all and been to hospital today so mum needs a bit cheering up. I can always get a laugh when i tell them i bought a new pram. It is silent now in the house after lots of noice all day and it is bliss. I have my tumble dryer on and it is making me want to fall asleep just like this Boring story is prob making you all fall asleep . I will be back to chat tonight no doubt. Really enjoying my little chats on mn at the moment.

maxybrown · 20/02/2010 17:32

I am off to search out diablo I don't know what that is!

OP posts:
basl · 20/02/2010 17:40

Oh maxy it is cosatto diablo and is not that great to look at but it was great on holiday as i had a shade a babe. The hood is huge and the seat is a great size with the leg support. It had foam handles but they were very comfy. Very light indeed but like your xlr it was big and i always felt it took to much room when shopping or if my mum took me out it would not fit in her boot. The jane footmuff was perfect for it as i had the grey colour pushchair and it matched perfectly again Daniel was so comfy. It folds easy and clips even with the big chunky footmuff on. One hand recline.

carrielou2007 · 20/02/2010 17:41

That sounds nice basl. Lol at the quiet house, doesn't happen often does it

Diablo are nice, friend of mine had one, nice shiny chrome frame. I like the purpley ones.

My eyes are drooping, we've all had colds which are now on our chests and dd and ds were coughing all night. Poor wee man was spluttering from his feed at 3am almost until 5am. Quick snooze then awake bang on 7am (it's like he knows Gina Ford already!!) so I could do with a little sleep about now

basl · 20/02/2010 17:46

Nothing worse carrie. I remember sitting in the bathroom at all hours with the shower and bath running to steam olivia when she had bad chesty coughs. It is awfull. Hope you do manage a nap but maybe for your own safety you should not read much more of my chatter. Don't want you falling asleep on the computer now. I really must run now and i am not reading anymore because i can't help but comment. Hope you have a better night carrie x

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 19:33

Hope you and your family get over your colds soon Carrie. I hate it when babies get colds, so hard to keep them content. I see you're selling your Bee. Wish DS3 was still dinky enough for one. He is a proper sumo, I'm going to have to get him a whole new wardrobe soon as 12-18 stuff getting too small for him. Might have to do a huge listing on the clothes board.

Basl, glad you're not wanting a zia anymore. I' say if you wanted something like that to get a zapp, but as Daniel still sleeps in his pram, it wouldn't be a good idea. Have you ever tried a micralite fastfold? I am after one, they are a really light pram, very easy to steer and probably be great for holidays. It has a slight recline, but enough for Daniel to sleep in it.

I miss Nicola

maxybrown · 20/02/2010 19:43

Wonder when she is back?

Yes get making some pennies on the clothes board 5in!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 20/02/2010 19:43

Oh and have you had a fast fold before 5in? I don't know if i think they are freaky are not.....as considered getting one myself

BexieID · 20/02/2010 19:53

Thanks for payment for PJs maxy. Will let you know when I post them.

Nicola is back tomorrow as someone asked on pram board and Diva texted her, lol.

I have 3 HUGE bin bags (wheelie bin size) full of Toms clothes, lol. All from 0-3 years to photograph and sell . Will have to try and do a batch at a time when he's at nursery as it's impossible when he's around.

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 19:57

I've had three Maxy , last one was Bexies. Wish I'd kept it now as it was the newer version. They are really light, great for igger kids. Had ds2 in one until I got his mac major. They are worth the money.

I am very tempted with the liner Bexie, but need to get the cash first. Ds3 loves the hungry caterpillar book

Carrie, can we see pics of the footmuff?

BexieID · 20/02/2010 19:59

I love fastfold .

BexieID · 20/02/2010 20:01

I can keep hungry cat bits for you if you like? I've paid for grape flower BS now

BexieID · 20/02/2010 20:04

I never used that black Micralite, lol. Still have my red one but it's broke

carrielou2007 · 20/02/2010 20:18

Bee just not for me, just want to sell it on here for what I paid, would be nice to get lucky on ebay but it never seems to work for me!! Have a look under my feedback on ebay (user name is the same) for a pic of footmuff, it's scrummy. You know me, can't do links!!!

Just had a look at karvol for ds, vicious circle, feeds snuggled up to me in bed so gets my germs but booby milk helps him get better. He's been sleeping really well in moses basket so want to encourage but whilst he is poorly I just want to co-sleep with him.

Managed to get onto Facebook (not that I know what I'm doing!!) and my sister has added two pics of me as I don't have a clue!!

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 20:21

Pic of ds3 in fastfold

Facebook is fab Carrie, I'm in touch with loads of people I went to school with, and old friends from South Afica.

Bexie, if you sell it you sell it, would be a few weeks before I get the cash, need to get photoing ds3s clothes first.

carrielou2007 · 20/02/2010 20:28

How scrummy is he 5inth??!! Thatfastfold on ebay got relisted but under a diff address, was at about 40 odd last time I looked.

So is facebook a bit like friends reunited?? I keep looking at it but not sure what to do yet

Going to try for an early-ish night tonight, very lucky with ds so bit of a shock to be awake so much with him last night.

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 20:43

Thanks . He was 5 months there. A different address? Odd, maybe the people didn't like it. Will have to have a look.

Facebook is great if you know how to use it. Have you ran it against your email address book?

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/02/2010 20:55

Hello all. Just a quick pop on. It's taken me a while to read through eveything.
I'm tired as DP and I had dd2 and dd3 in the bed with us last night. I went down to DD2's bed and was followed there by DD3. Aaaaargh. Mind you they said they were cold so I can't be too annoyed.

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 21:09

How is the packing/house hunting going Dunoon?

maxybrown · 20/02/2010 21:10

ah he's lovely 5in. I didn't realise they are roomy. I'd love to have a go of one as I always imagine them to be squashed, but always find myself looking at them if I see someone out with one

OP posts:
maxybrown · 20/02/2010 21:11

and what's the diff between fastfold and toro?

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 20/02/2010 21:29

Nothing happening yet. We will start packing when we exchange. Meant to be last week but didn't happen so maybe this week and latest plan is to rent here short term to allow children to finish school year and us to get our heads around What exactly we are doing.
Nicola had a Toro. I think she liked it although it wasn't a keeper.

5inthebed · 20/02/2010 21:30

Fastfold is sort of hammock like and only has two different positions where as the toro is like a bucket seat and lies down flat.

maxybrown · 20/02/2010 21:32

wasn't a keeper

Ah right, not keen on bucket seats.
