No probs, I can always collect it and pay in cash if they won't take pp and you can pp me. I have got a box that my car seat came in so might be able to get most of it in and just bin liner the end . I should place a bid so the BIN goes if that is a good price before someone nabs it!!

5inthebed · 16/02/2010 20:48

Nah I'll just bid. They don't sell that well on Ebay as not many people like them. Plus I'm a cheapskate lol.

How is your little family doing?

carrielou2007 · 16/02/2010 21:04

Ds is not too good at going to bed at 7/7.30pm yet so he's watching Torchwood in his bouncy chair

Did you buy that buggy as the listing has ended????

5inthebed · 16/02/2010 21:15

Oh crap! No I didn't lol. Oh well, thanks anyway.

He is still too little for bed, he is allowed. Great choice of telly for him though

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 10:39

Hello basl I was going to make liners and harness pads for the xt. I have a pattern for that and made two prototypes which I will use on mine come spring/summer. If I don't get some kind of work and depending on where we move to and what DP does [rather a lot of if's buts and maybes] I will have a real go at making them to sell and maybe moses basket liners too.
Lovely sunny day here atm. I hope it lasts as we must get out. DP off in london for an interview.

carrielou2007 · 17/02/2010 10:56

Morning, very wet and miserable here.

We are just off the my CM so her children can see ds and then play with dd whilst we natter and drink hot chocolate. Typcial just put ds in the outfit they bought for him and he has just sicked all down it - greedy boy he needs to stop when he is full!! Just wet wiped it, might have a blow dry him with a hairdryer .

Lots of changes FMTD you could end up the next Poshbugs!! Good luck to your DP

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 11:14

Hot chocolate mmmmmmm.
What can I make/buy to have with a hot chocoalte later?

basl · 17/02/2010 12:36

ahh flyme i just remember you talking about it. I am thinking of a liner for the baby jogger but can't make up my mind. (surprise surprise).
Carrie will the CM be looking after your ds??? Just started Weight Watchers today so the thought of hot chocolate and a croissant sounds tooo good.

basl · 17/02/2010 14:01

My baby jogger has arrived and i love it. Can you believe that after sending one back the day it arrived in september. Well i am sure you can. It is perfect and what a service from baby enterprise. I ordered on monday night and it arrived today. It seems to be sold out or on 5 week order but they had one left for £160.00 i was very pleased. Don't know how my hubby is going to react but my sister tells me her husband just shook his head and cursed me.

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 14:04

Right been out. Taken bottles to the bottle bank. Had Mcds for lunch with DDs 2 and 3. Got DD3 a new little toy stroller in argos and the two of them ran all the way home with one each.
Am now sat with Hot Chocolate and homemade Scones! Mmmmmm
Basl I could do you one if you could make a pattern. Obviously I don't have access to masses of fabrics like poshbugs and snunkie.
I have pics on here

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 14:06

congrats basl!

basl · 17/02/2010 14:25

ohhh flyme, i love those liners. How clever are you. Make a pattern [sceptical] i would not have a clue. Shame you don't have the baby jogger now as you could have taken a shape from that. I have seen some lovley dalmation ponyskin fabric on ebay and i do love your grey/black liner that would be great on my bjcm as it has a grey panel down middle. So what do you think? would that shape fit or how would i make a pattern. I am all excited now. I am also very hungry so the thought of homemade socones sound lovley.

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 14:32

Would you like me to send you that liner basl and you can have a test of it, see if it fits?

basl · 17/02/2010 14:54

Flyme of to do the school run and would you believe daniel was crying when i took him out of the bjcm. I would love that so much. If it fits can i buy it or is that yours. If you send me your paypal address i will send you postage. Thank you so much it does look stunning and i would love it if it fits. oohhh better run now. marieturner5 @ btinternet dot com xxxx

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/02/2010 15:09

basl I have emailed you.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2010 11:00

Morning all.
Gosh Nicola goes on a trip and the old shed is sooooooo quiet
I hope the weather is better up north because it's pissing down again here.
Basl I have packaged up the liner. It has velcro at the top to attach to an XT. You may be able to tuck it under. See what you think. Strap pads in there too.

basl · 18/02/2010 11:25

Morning, i know i thought i had put everyone off talking on and on about my bjcm

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2010 13:05

Not at all. In fact I am having difficulty getting online regularly atm because it's half term here and DD1 hogs the laptop. Thats when DP isn't on it!
Luckily thay are all playing barbies upstairs now. In a short while we are all getting out into the drizzle [joy] and going to the library, shops and then DD2 has her follow up app for the grommets.

maxybrown · 18/02/2010 13:18

Hi all!

I don't get on mush as Dh a teacher so it is our time together

Not because i am a devout Nicola follower or anything!

Right, come and persuade me to be sensible. I have sold xlr, I have my baby jogger which I use all of the time but want a cheap maclaren to sling under the cupboard for just in cases.

I have enough funds to buy the black XT (which i like) that is on the boards for £110 delivered and have basically no funds left for anything else.

Or somewhere else there is a spitfire up for grabs (which I LOVE!!) for similar price, but obviously no funds left.

Or there is a what looks like very good conditon older XT for £40 plus courier. Now then, I don't like the look of the old mac wheels, but that is just silly isn't when I could have that for £50 and a bit of money left over eh? For what I want it for? What you reckon?

help please!!!

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2010 13:31

Oh gosh I am no good at decisions at all. Erm.............Right! I would go for the spitfire because you love it and thinking sensibly it will hold value if you sell later.
How is that?
In return could you please tell me what to do with my life?

maxybrown · 18/02/2010 13:33

I know.........BUT, I will hardly use it, that's why I'm trying to be sensible. I use the baby jogger all of the time, hence why I sold the xlr, as really I prefer that! But seems silly having a new posh pushchair that hardly gets used.

Fairy's XT older style looks really good nick

Dunoon, if I ever sort my life out, you'll be next in line

OP posts:
maxybrown · 18/02/2010 13:33

PS, I am trying to have my sensible head on instead of going with my stupid i must have head btw

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2010 13:42

I agree totally then .
Sorry what is your decision?

Ok we are off out and I don't want to. I'm cold already. Wah.

maxybrown · 18/02/2010 13:43

thanks

Confused more than ever now.

I also had ebay issues to discuss but seeing as you are buggering off out and no one else seems to be here, I shall sit boiling them up insode instead til someone comes along for me to go on about it

OP posts:
basl · 18/02/2010 13:51

Silly i hear you say maxy {blush]? I have a posh new pushchair and in exactly the same situation. I went over exactly the same problem. Now the way i look at it is going down the cheaper more sensible route always costs me more money in the end. I think i will just get that as i don't really need it etc and always end up whishing i had got what i wanted in the first place hence 1.O baby atlas 2 pulse buggy 3. BJCM 4. Luna Mix 5. Cosatto diablo 6. Nipper 360 and finally i have the baby jogger city mini and it is just perfect. It is a very good second pushchair for what i want. When we go shopping with the car dh moans at the elite taking all the room. I also go abroad on hols and love the hood. It is light lovley to look at and i have that feeling of why did i not just get it and keep it.
I must make you aware that now you have used the bjce you will always compare other pushchairs. Even the bjcm is heavy to stear in comparison.
That is what i think but you know i am a bit of a nutter so lets see what everyone else thinks.

Flyme what area of your life would you like sorted? Hope the appointment goes well
