Well i have just placed an order for the baby jogger city mini in black. I love the zapp but as my ds is on the taller side and a bit chunky i fear he will not last in the mini.My mum often takes us out shopping and she has a very small car and if my sister is taking us she does not have much room so the need for the second pushchair. I do like the big shopping basket and all the same features of the elite and the hood will be very usefull on our hols abroad. If you look in my picture trail in the pushchair pictures you will see daniel in olivias double buggy www.picturetrail.com/marieturner5@btinternet.

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/02/2010 16:38

basl I can't find the pic you mention. Probably just having a moment but love the fact thet you have 21 pics of them!
Black baby jogger looks fabby with the spotty cosytoes.

basl · 15/02/2010 16:57

Flyme that is strange. When i click on to the link and go to pushchair they are the first few pics. Daniel always sitting in the double buggy and i have to say he looks quite comfy.

maxybrown · 15/02/2010 17:01

DOH!
Yes very cute.

basl · 15/02/2010 17:11

thnks maxy, he loves playing with his big sister. Now he is 18mths and in 18/24 mth clothes but i can tell by his birthday in July he will more than likley be 2/3 clothes. Olivia never wore her age size until now. She was always too slight. I missed out on all your lovely offer of clothes maxy in 18/24 just not on the ball enough to get in on the act. I sold all his Dec holiday clothes as they will never fit in the summer now and all his 12/18 stuff too wee now. I do enjoy reading about all your shopping for clothes tips and maybe i will get back into it now the pushchair situation is solved[hmmm]

basl · 15/02/2010 17:13

Sorry Flyme, Didn't you say you were a mind reader. I just expect everyone to know what is going on in my head [embarrassed]

Morning all

What happened last night??? No mumsnet?!!

New purchase Basl, you've wanted one of those again for ages enjoy!!

Dd was up a lot in the night sun (all three of us are full of cold and I have lost my voice) so not a good start for Crealy. Knew my sister had bought her tickets online so felt we had to go. Got there and she's mentioned it to another friend who came - we could've stayed at home!!

Dd burning hot and blood red cheeks yet shivering, didn't eat a thing, slept on my lap for an hour. Yet this morning she'w woken up asking to go there again so she's all better .

maxybrown · 16/02/2010 09:35

maxybrown · 16/02/2010 19:32

Evening, Flyme can you remind me if it was you who was making liners for pushchairs? Diva sound like a good day shopping and yet another happy customer from the shop of maxy. I just looked at the clothes thread and i can't believe i missed some stuff again. Daniel is in 18/24 and i am having to kit him out completely as he has taken such a growth spurt. He is a strange size as even some 18/24 seem to just fit and others drown him. I will need to ask for a text alert when maxy lists next like the bank does if you are about to go overdrawn. yada yada blether blether on. Sorry x

5inthebed · 16/02/2010 19:40

Evening ladies. Does anyone live near here?

Basl, your DS looks so cute in his sister pram. Beautiful children.

I seem to be cutting a wisdom tooth . Really sore mouth, need to make an appointment with the dentist but will have to wait until kids at school.

maxybrown · 16/02/2010 19:42

lol Basl, is there anything inparticular you need? I am always parting with things. Will elt you know first next time x

basl · 16/02/2010 19:53

Aww maxy bless you, i was only having a laugh but i do seem to like your taste in kids clothes. Daniel has a rather sticky out tummy and i think these drawstring or elastic waist jeans are the way to go. I just spent a small fortune last week on some lovely long sleeved tops and fleecy types in m/s and mini mode so have a few outfits that match and i lovley pair of jeans and jumper from vertbaudet but i can't get the hang of those sizes. I orderd age 2 and the jumper just fits and jeans long enough but he has to breath in to fasten the button. They end up like the beer belly men with them under his belly. Don't you worry i will keep watching.

basl · 16/02/2010 20:03

Thanks 5in he loves getting pushed about in it. Really lovley dolls pram it has two large shopping baskets and we went for a long walk to tesco's and she had a loaf of bread and some bits and pieces in the baskets. Walking chatting on her pretend mobile phone.
Can you take some strong painkillers that sounds so sore!!! My new bjcm arrives tomorrow and still i wonder. My sister will be collecting the diablo but he sat in it tonight will i made dinner and he looked so comfy and i think why did i bother but i really want it so we will see. Do you still like yours?

5inthebed · 16/02/2010 20:10

Yes, still totally loving it. I want an air tyred pram now thougha s ds3 a little chunky monkey.

carrielou2007 · 16/02/2010 20:24

5inthe I live in weston-super-mare where that buggy is. I don't have a box but they fold small don't they if bin liners would be ok?? Do you want it enough to pay BIN (no idea how much they go for) or if you bid I can collect it. Can wait for courier on a fri (but not this fri) as this is only day dd not at playgroup.

5inthebed · 16/02/2010 20:31

The BIN is quite low, but I want to get it for cheapest possible so will just bid on it. Would be great if you could collect if for me Carrie, as long as it isn't too much hassle for you. Bin bags would be fine as long as you deflated the tyres a bit. . Not in any hurry so next week Friday would be smashing (if I won it).
