oh fabby!! thats great thanks!!

nicolamumof3 · 14/02/2010 12:56

Maxy you have a bnib black/champagne xlr?

maxybrown · 14/02/2010 15:11

lol, yeah.....remember the woman who wanted tobuy mine when I was going to by yours? Well she was desperate for it so sold it to her and got a new one.........but not using it (well haven't used it) due to loving the BJCE so much so seems daft. I use the baby jogger all of the time. I might get (can you believe I am saying this) a zapp or something as the only time the baby jogger will be very inconvenient will be at Christmas time around shops. No point keeping a BNIB XLR for that. I would even have a quest. Would like a spitfire if one comes up again. But a zapp would do

basl · 14/02/2010 16:25

hi everyone not been on for a while but still trying to keep up with all the clothes shopping hints and tips. How funny we know how to get hovis x 2 and milk cheap as chips in farmfoods and really struggle with the price of food etc but show us some lovley kids clothes and a new buggy and we find the dosh somewhere. Maxy i love to here you love your elite it really is a joy. I would not be put off shopping at christmas with it as i did and to be honest really not that much a problem. I too need a second pushchair still and so close to ordering the bjcm. Have you considered that??? Much smaller and i know you felt plasticky??? so did i but it does push lovley and the hood same as elite and the basket underneath big. I would like this as i am going abroad again in October and the hood would be fab. Big seat as well.
I do however love the look of the zap in racoon but no good for shopping i suspect and i do like the quests but that hood on the bjcm
Just back from a long walk to tesco with kids. Olivia to ok her new double buggy and it rained so we used one of my many raincovers. How cute. Dh working till late and i am working tonight but he sent a lovley card this morning to myself and one each from the kids to each other with little choc love hearts inside. He does this every year but thought he would not manage with no post but he sneaked back and hand posted. Had me in tears this morning reading the lovley things he wrote in each card. Any hoo can't wait to find out what you get maxy.

maxybrown · 14/02/2010 16:34

Ah that's nice Basl

We made an agreement not to buy/get anything as we want to go off and do things this week whilst DH is off

I have considered the BJCM but don't want to spend much as I really do love using the elite all the time!

I am just worried about christmas time buses. Also I struggled to get around the ailes last year so worries me a bit. But something small I can fling in the cupboard for one off occasions would be great! As mostly would be using the baby jogger.

Yes Basl so right about food etc though I get a set amount of money off DH for food and anything I buy for james is from money i've raised so don't feel bad then

maxy the quest does sound good then. I am in a pickle thinking about it myself as i just need it for the odd occassion but the hood for those holidays does seem to sell it to me. Although nic does give a good shout for the quest. mmm the money has sat in my paypal for i don't know how long and i just sole the diablo which would have done but did not look the best. ohhh i will keep watching for your decision.

maxybrown · 14/02/2010 17:14

lol, the hoods are fab on the bjcm yes...........but I have my elite so don't deem a bjcm necessary! As you said, it is fine to use all the time (it is hard to take our own advice isn't it?) hee hee. I just am so happy with the elite, I am at the stage of not caring what else I have as a sling in the cupboard need very small pushchair emergency!! Hence even considering the zapp.

I just went out to take my library books back and popped into Jones to see what end of sale bargains they had. Ended up buying a pair of black hush puppy boots for £45. Then bought some jammies for myself from M&S and a new red handbag from Fat Face. Eeeeeek. It's because I am fed up about our move. Luckily I have BJCC money in Paypal that I can transfer and two little thing finishing on ebay tonight to add.

nicolamumof3 · 14/02/2010 17:40

good for you dunoon! its always good to have a treat.

Am looking forward to our sainsbury's valentine meal later. Hopefully DP will do bedtimes.

carrielou2007 · 14/02/2010 19:47

Evening all.

Nice to spend some money on yourself insted of the dd's FMTD!

We had a lovely walk along the seafront and on the beach in gorgous sunshine today. Dd now in bed, ds asleep in his bouncy chair next to me and their dad is at his ex MIL with one of dc's half sisters so lovely and peaceful .

Going to paint my toenails, have a hot bath etc before ds wakes up for next feed and have an early night.

nicolamumof3 · 14/02/2010 20:39

oh i remember that stage carrielou used to bath ds1 and 2 feed ds3 then he would snooze whilst had dinner etc in his bouncy chair then change him and feed again then bed. lovely!! easy boys eh?

carrielou2007 · 14/02/2010 21:12

So diff from dd!! He's not great in the evenings yet, milk running low by then but nothing like dd who would scream from 6pm until about 10pm (looking back think it was colic). He's wide awake now so just made our picnic for tomorrow (going to Crealy adventure park) and packed up some ebay parcels. Will plonk him in his chair next to the bath in a bit .

maxybrown · 14/02/2010 21:30

OOh crealy, have a nice time......I miss Devon soooooooooooooooo much
