maxy do mind check the tommee tippee straw cup in asda. its soft silicone straw that goes right down the bottom. they seem to re-designed them all and now they are wihout straw to the bottom, if that makes sense.
i ahd 3 cups since he was 1yr old now they all chewed and half eaten

Divatheshopaholic · 03/12/2009 22:25

oops, do you mind check the tommee tippee cups in asda please excuse my typo, rushed and misssed some words in there

maxybrown · 03/12/2009 22:35

Of course Diva. I understand what you mean! We will have to arrange our get together again

I just bought a sheepskin rug to line the pushchair with and have the stayput over. Am I mad?

maxybrown · 03/12/2009 22:46

No, isn't that what Jan is doing?

OP posts:
horsemadgal · 03/12/2009 22:48

Sounds sensible to me Dunoon.

BexieID · 03/12/2009 22:51

Diva, is it the straw thats chewed? £shop did have some similar disney ones with straws. Tom will only drink out of the Asda own 4month plus cups, like the basic Tommee Tippee ones. I should raid my cups as may well have the one you're looking for never drunken from!

BexieID · 04/12/2009 00:40

I got this bear for Tom when I was pregnant with him 4 years ago. His nose is a bit worn. Guess what we saw today in the charity shop? Another bear with tag, lol. Tom insisted he had him, so a fiver later, Tom had another bear. Can't believe that price on ebay!

morning all, i had a night off last night wow!! dh and i went xmas shopping to bluewater, was very nice, and we went to john lewis foodhall winebar and had cheese and wine v.luxurious!!

back to reality today tho.

carrielou2007 · 04/12/2009 09:45

Morning all .

We are going down to dd's soon to start playgroup this morning to do all the forms, let her have a look around etc - so excited!! It' a fabbi one but still worry if the other children or 'aunties' don't like dd. I'm sure they will as she is such a lovely girl but you know what I mean and she'll make lots of new friends.

Very cold here and I'm knackered and it's only 9.45 so might drive (it's only a mile and a half!!)

Nicola I dream of blue cheese and red wine yummmmmmmmmmm

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 09:57

OOh how lovely for you Nicola! Sounds fabby!

Divatheshopaholic · 04/12/2009 10:22

morning,
nicola, sound lovely, i havent been shoping on my own for ages
bexie this is the cup
it has silicone straw not plastic hard straw. seems like tomee tippee changed all the designs, i dont know why they do change, it has fab reviews on amazon, all parents loved it.

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 10:23

I agree Nicola about the boy thing

I have just been good, cleaning etc, then the vaccuum cleaner started smoking, I thought great, Dh will be thrilled to bits! So, I unplug it, and see that I have sucked up one of DS's socks that I must have dropped on the stairs when taking washing down to put on oops!! So, out comes screw driver etc. Bit smelly in house now, of burning, but it works again - phew! lol In my defence, I was doing the stairs, and so didn't notice, that the it had got caught up in the pther part of the vac!

Hi Ladies,
NappyAddict has said you may be able to help me...

I am looking for a ziko frankie for ds2 (finally decided what I want) and am struggling to find a reasonable priced one...

can any of you help?

nicolamumof3wisemen · 04/12/2009 12:14

how much did you want to spend? new/secondhand?

umm maxy, i just can't do real anymore!!, i find the whole thing so stressful as i like the tree to be exactly symmetrical and straight! has to be perfect, then you have the mess and the faff of getting it in and out.

TLESinChristmasStockings · 04/12/2009 12:46

second hand would be preferred lol

janxmas · 04/12/2009 13:38

Frida off school with this lurgy...Luka has just been so mischievous this morning - I can't take my eyes off him...so far he has ripped two books, put all the fridge magnets in the freezer, pulled dds hair, poured water all over the table, drawn on himself and some toys...he really needs a proper run around, but couldn't do much as dd isn't up to it. They are both having naps now...and all is calm

basl · 04/12/2009 14:03

Lol janx sounds like my daniel. Olivia is not going to nursery this afternoon and she only went back on tues but she is coughing like mad and tells me she is tired. That is not like her as she loves nursery. Bless her she has just whatched a little film and i asked if she enjoyed it. She said oh yes but i was just about crying out of my eyes and did a nervous giggle. I said oh was it sad and the little sould burst into tears and told me that the elephant had lost it's mummy and she said i love you so much mum and gave me the biggest hug ever. Now that's not like olivia so something must be in the pipeworks. I think it is the time of year and on the pushchair front i am manging no problem now with the elite. Wheel so easy to pop off at the front door although i am sure my neighbours think i am mad.

maxybrown · 04/12/2009 14:04

lol Nicola, I should have guessed........although i DO know what you mean I pride myself on picking thr right tree at the best price, maybe I should come and get one for you
