groan, I know. I'm not even dressed going to get in shower now and see. it is the only thing I take him too though and he enjoys himself. Although he is full of a cold too. But fine in himself. My teeth feel like they are jangling all over the shop.

Got parcel today,thank you

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 13:19

Thank you, and oh good

I have had a shower - that was horrid! Going to attempt to walk to toddler group as realised we won't be going next week either then it'll be last week and maybe a little party so don't want to just turn up in 2 weeks time and not knowing what's going on so will go and see how long i can bear it for. Yikes. Will get tablets on the way!

Diva, i'm sure they've had those cups in the £shop as I nearly got one for Tom, but have loads he never uses and didn't want to add to the collection, lol. If my parcel comes b4 I pick Tom up, i'll have a look, or it'll be tomorrow now, as need to rush back for parcel man. 7am-7pm delivery time, but had a text saying it should be here between 12-3pm which is no good as do nursery run 12:15-1:15ish and 2:40-3:40ish. Will have to stick another note on main door downstairs saying i'll be back after 3:40!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 13:47

i need new cups they are so expensive aren't they?

jan i did win stayput, will see if its anygood, if not do you want it? i didn't like my last stayput but you know me i change my mind like the wind.

just had shopping trip without children. was hot and busy but glad not to have boys there. bought quite a bit tho getting there with the xmas shopping definitely. phew.

maxy what size are boden baggies please? Tate has the red ones in age 4.

janxmas · 02/12/2009 14:19

Luka has only had 30 mins nap ...he is so tired and so am I. He usually has 1.5 hrs. Have just parked him in front of tv - I need a break.
What didn't you like about your stay put Nicola?...might go and have a look at the ones in mothercare on saturday. Quite fancy that cow print one, but don't want to buy one that doesn't work!
Maxy - you sound like you have something nasty - there is nothing worse than earache...for some reason I used to suffer a lot from that when I was growing up. Hope the pj's fit - if not hmg was asking about them.

BexieID · 02/12/2009 14:24

I want a nap!

Maclaren · 02/12/2009 15:28

Hi All hope everyone is in the xmas spirit! We have all our decs up so its all christmasie here

Right so I have decided that the I would prefer a three wheeler and am think of the baby jogger elite has anyone tried one?? can you put a cosy toe on them ok?To buy it I will need to sell my Bugaboo what do you guys think I should ask for it?

Its a 2008 with new style frame and foam wheels it is a limited edition with silver canvas (you can only buy it n a shop in the US) But it only comes with the pushchair and raincover!

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 15:37

Right back from toddler group, I just sat there like a lemon, which was fine as there was hardly anyone there and the ones that were, were the witches of eastwick, so suited me! Anyway, tablets have kicked in for now, thank goodness!!!! I can actually think for a minute. It is my sinuses Jan, I suffer with them terribly, although not done for a while now. Central heating doesn't help, so been donning fleeces all day. I just feel "wobbly" and my eyes are still killing, but that awful face and head pain is at bay............for now.

Nicola they are 18/24. I just know I won't get the use out of them now so selling before he wears them lol! Mukm bought him blue and green, I got red.

Maclaren you need Norma and Basl for the Elite.

Happy December to you all

Pram wise all I want from Santa is:

a Vibe or a Dash or a iCandy peach blossom, here we go decisions on double, won't be buying it until February but got to debate it for a while as you do!

Maclaren · 02/12/2009 15:56

Oh I love the peach but far too much money for me

I have listed the Bugaboo on ebay with a BIN of £450 a tad optimistic but you never know lol!

StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 16:02

Is that the Bug you paid £80 for!? The would be one heck of a profit!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 16:03

good for you maclaren, i must say i would have fancied a BJCE myself they do look rather yum! but you know how i lurve my nipper. I folded it up a week ago tho and its not been used at all. Maclaren all the way now. you not missing you're black xt?

i find the xlr so much of a better push.

Janx the stayput just didn't fit v.well but i think i had it on a smaller stroller at the time, it was a lovely faux fur one as well was gorgeous.

i had my massage but now have splitting headache and v.v.v.tired.

Janx sorry you're having an exhausting day by the sounds of it. i haven't sent your parcel today as was waiting on payments for other things and wanted to do it in one hit as the queues are horrendous, so will go tomorrow, hope thats ok? sorry.

Luka stopped having proper naps a couple months or so ago, but he does sometimes sleep in pushchair wish is nice.

Maclaren · 02/12/2009 16:17

Yes Sk it is but it will pay for a new pushchair for me and pressies for the boys! Max is getting a Wii for xmas and now wants a MAxi Micro scooter which are £85 unless any of you ladies know where I can get it cheaper lol !

Nic I dont know if it is just me but I find the Max a tad wobble (if that makes sense) I bought mine new from MC in July and it just isnt as sterdy as a three wheeler or a Bug!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 16:22

you go for it maclaren!! if you can get that good for you alls i say.

well the handles are never rock solid on techno's because they adjust so they wobble but otherwise i'd say alongside a ziko they are the sturdiest strollers out there. you need a three wheeler for winter, you still doing lots of walking.

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 16:26

Yeah go for it Maclaren, get what you can - you don't have to justify yourself either!

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 16:29

Well there are some daft people on ebay so someone will buy it I'm sure....

I do feel a bit sorry for the person who sold it, but to be fair if you didn't know much about Bugaboo it would just seem like a normal Bug without a carrycot the only special thing being a silver hood so you would ask for that much would you?

StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 16:32

Oh and Nicola why don't you get Tate a Maxi micro? The mini won't last him that long if he's nearly 4 will it? They are on John Lewis online I think.

Maclaren · 02/12/2009 16:32

i dont expect I will get that much or nearly that much for it would be happy with £300 as its the new model!

I dont feel sorry for the person who sold it to me they listed it with a buy it now and I paid what they wanted for it as long as they are happy with what they asked then thats good enough for me! To be honest I dont think it was their pushchair as they solkd it to me with a parasol but the parasol fits a bee but hayho

Maclaren · 02/12/2009 16:34

My Max is 5 1/2 and he out grew his Micro scooter in the summer he kept leaning forward to far (because the handle bars were too low) and falling over bless him! But its such a leap from £45 to £85!

StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 16:34

That's weird about the parasol, they clearly didn't know much about them! But hey they could have done more research so it's their loss.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 16:36

i don't feel sorry for the seller at all? they listed it for that so why would you?

the maxi is from age 5 SK so i don't think it would be suitable for Tate, i see school children on the mini micro all the time so i t will do tate for at least a year, then luka can have it anyways. Im not paying £80 odd for a scooter!
