maxybrown · 02/12/2009 18:50

Thanks Diva, I am so so sorry about tomorrow Ds would have loved it.....and me. But it is silly to go aead in case I feel like this again tomorrow, fit for nothing, then you will think I am a right misery guts, and I'm not really.

StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 18:54

Yeah the HV is an army one so you do get a bit more attention She's coming to do a diabeties dip test as FIL, who's a doctor and has diabeties thinks DS has the signs

janxmas · 02/12/2009 18:55

Thanks Maxy - her name is Frida...
Hope you are feeling better - dp has gone down with the lurgh...I seem to have got over it fairly quickly

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 18:56

Ah right, tis wrong though isn't it. No one has seen DS, ever. That head measurement was that your DS's head?

OP posts:
StrictlyKatty · 02/12/2009 19:01

Yeah that's around his head. The HV we had in Germany from the camp wasn't very good, didn't really care the one here is nice and has a lot less people to deal with I think.

I'm very worried about the test, it'll be very serious if he has it this young

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 19:02

Janx hope tomorrow looks up for you. Glad your dd is doing so well tho thats reassuring isn't it

i feel awful too, splitting head, i am blaming it on everywhere being so overheated atm. not good for you.

right just been upstairs to sort xmas shopping into piles, there is no escaping it i am going to have to do some more wrapping...i hate it! have soooo much to do. every year i say i will be done by december, but again, i am not.

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 19:07

I love wrapping, I'll come and do it for you! Ohno i won't, can't bend over. You're right about the heat in places nasty.

Ah darn it, DS's head is 52cm. he has a big head!!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 02/12/2009 19:08

Frida! That's it, gorgeous!! If I was having another...EXCEPT I AM NOT lol!

janxmas · 02/12/2009 19:11

Nicola - you are so organized - havn't really started shopping yet - let alone wrapping. Managed to order some nice pj's for my sister - they came today - not a clue what to buy dp - would really like to get him a new bike as his is falling apart and he rides everyday, but wouldn't be able to afford that.
My mum always says - oh get me anything which is no help - am taking her to see Oliver soon which hopefully be good fun.

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 19:13

I haven't started shopping yet either Jan! We have mostly got DS's things but that is it. Oh and I have a couple of bits for my friends in Devon and their tiddly winks.

OP posts:
janxmas · 02/12/2009 19:26

You never know Maxy - i thought I would only have one.
Right I need to get ideas for pressies - last year dp and me agreed to only spend £20 on each other - we were broke - and the challenge was to find really interesting things - I kind of cheated as I get a discount off books at work, so he did pretty well...lets just say I am changing the rules this year (grin]

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 19:32

No, I WILL only have the one

Oh gosh....I don't know what to get Dh yet, but being into VW's is pretty easy. It is his birthday on 22nd too, then my sis will be 40 on Christmas eve, no idea what to get her!

janxmas · 02/12/2009 19:44

Took this the other day - at a dressing up event for kids...who says boys can't wear pink

mum look at us!

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 20:01

sorry had to go to shop for more tablets

Ah that is cute lol! He is very tall isn't he? How tall is he jan?

OP posts:
janxmas · 02/12/2009 20:23

Hope they do the trick maxy
No idea how tall Luka is - never still long enough to measure him

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 20:23

lol Jan love that pic.

well dh just gone out to collect Tom from Tae kwon do and he left HUGE slab of dairy milk on counter, so im having a little break from wrapping. Im really happy with kids pressies this year, got lots of practical things but things that they will love too. Cannot wait to see luka's face when he unwraps woody pj's!

sweetkitty · 02/12/2009 20:29

I am scared of spending all that money on a Peach Blossom only to find it's not that good and I would rather have had a P&T. I quite like the look of the Dash, haven't seen one in RL but the seats look better than the Sport.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 20:36

theres a lady locally who has a dash, it looks nice, but not all that different to the sport. im not keen on the peach tbh i don't think you can go wrong with p&t tbh how old is DC? i never did you use mine in newborn mode tho, luka was 13m by the time i gave in and got one!!

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 20:40

Ah that's good Nicola, I love those PJs too - I am slightly Toy Story mad would love one of the snowglobes or nice watches from America Silly, I know.
I am looking at a mars bar, that I know i will have....sigh.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 20:44

eat in!! then order the pj's is delivery still a penny with m&s atm? they do buzz ones too but not as nice was going to get the buzz for tate i might still as they would look a cute double act!

maxybrown · 02/12/2009 20:47

lol, wouldn't they?! Tch, got no dosh atm though although I do have a M&S voucher!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3wisemen · 02/12/2009 20:56
