It isnt a bjcm double its a classic. Anyone know what the difference is>

horsemadgal · 18/12/2009 20:42

The Classic is much bigger then the City Mini, Knickers. Like the size of the Elite.

carrielou2007 · 18/12/2009 20:56

Evening all

My new router is here and working, no more having to hold a cable in to get online - hurrah!!

No snow here thank goodness though very cold in the wind today.

Had horrible day yesterday, routine MW appt sent me to hospital as splodge's heartrate was v v high so monitored for 4 hours. Finally settled down so allowed me out. Poor dd (and me!!) were starving as I only had an apple and a banana in my bag so we bought some chocolate fingers on the way home .

I can't get on facebook, even got dd's 15 year olf half sister to try but my laptop doesn't let me. Soundsa god job as would prob be on there all day!!

Boots.com have some quests on offer I noticed earlier.

I've got sticky eyes so not able to wear my ontact lenses, glasess are like bottle tops and no mascara which when you are blonde is pretty gutting. I need a purchase!!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 08:07

Morning all!

im up with luka everyone else in bed! typical eh?

Dh has w/end off finally and guess what...yes he's ill!! i've got loads of last minute xmas stuff to do but still thick snow won't be getting out of Tonbridge today!!

maxybrown · 19/12/2009 08:42

oh nicola, that's always the way isn't it.

We're off into town later some last bits and food shopping.

Well we're very sad in our house as we are probably getting rid of our beloved camper van she's like part of the family, I know that sounds silly but that's how we feel.

My DP has an eye injury [abraded cornea] and is unable to do much. He and DD1 were up in the night because she was throwing up. I had decided to let her sleep in my bed as nearer to the loo and I was on the sofa bed.
We are meant to have viewers today, if they turn up. I am tempted to cancel them. It's all a bit too much at this time of the year.
I have tidided and would now like to have a shower and get dressed.

Morning everyone. Feel like hybernating all day on the sofa with chocolate and MN.

maxybrown · 19/12/2009 10:21

Oh dunoon, cancel. Don't stress yourself out further.

5inthesleighbed · 19/12/2009 11:13

Morning everyone.

Knicks, the classic as air tyres. The mini doesn't.

Dunoon, cancel, not worth the hassle if you have poorly people in your house.

I had a nightmare of a day yesterday! Went to start car to take the DC to school, and had a flat battery . Took Green Flag over an hour to come and sort it, and then had to drive around for 10-15 miles to get some charge into it. Not the easiest of things to do when there is an inch of snow lying on the ground, and I've never driven in the snow. After my scenic drive, went to get battery tested, and I needed a new one so now £77.50 out of pocket, bang goes my Christmas presents . Me and DH have saved some money for each other, and I were going to hit the sales for some much needed guilt free clothes for myself. I've managed to buy him an Iphone, so his christmas present is sorted. It always happens to me!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/12/2009 16:34

Gosh we are all having troubles- non?

Thank goodness the estate agent managed to cancel all but one viewing and the couple who did come were lovely and very understanding [and liked cats]
Just had a trip into the centre of town with DD3 in the mac. Gas leak [by Hoopers Nicola] had closed most roads in and had to trek through the park in quite bad snow and ice. Yikes!
Got DD1 her ipod nano though. In purple.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/12/2009 16:35

Really needed a three wheeler.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 17:15

oh my dunoon seen so many people struggling with pushchairs today. more snow on way as well. its made me angry how so few roads have been gritted ours is an ice rink but i mean main roads they just haven't been done.

nipper been great in snow. can the wheel be fixed on the 360?

FlyMeToDunoonSanta · 19/12/2009 17:20

twirl! Finally changed my name.

nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 17:29

...

maxybrown · 19/12/2009 18:16

yes it can Ncola. There is a catch that you lift and twist in on the front wheel.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 18:38

oh great will try that later.

dh just spent an hour shovelling ice and snow and gritting our street! he's also just made us chicken tagliatelle with pine nuts and pesto mmmmhhh!

janxmas · 19/12/2009 18:52

Evening
Luka is being a nightmare and uber cute (not in equal doses). He is much better but still wants me to carry him around all the time and had a huge fit coming home from the library because he had to share his croissant with Frida. On the cute side when we made little chocolate cakes he spent ages concerntrating putting the mixture in the cases and then eating lots. Dp has decided he needs to go to work tomorrow - oh bugger

nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 21:43

jan i know how you feel. Luka had a major meltdown again today. Seems worse when he either wakes in pushchair or we are preparing to go out. Was quite scary today tho

maxybrown · 19/12/2009 21:50

scary in what way Nic? What does he do? Sometimes we can't even look at James if he wakes from being asleep in the pushchair, goes beserk! As long as we stay away, all's ok......doesn't always happen though

OP posts:
janxmas · 19/12/2009 21:57

I am dreading a whole day with Luka tomorrow - isn't that awful that I feel like that - but he is such hard work at the moment - he is so whingey and tantrumy and because he isn't feeling 100% - he thinks he can get everything he wants. The other day this bloke came up to me and had a go because Luka didn't have a hat and gloves on and was screaming his head off...he just thought I was neglecting him - not that I was battling with my willful child to keep his hat and scarf on!
How was it scarey Nicola?

Maxy - just paid you for jumper -sorry for delay

nicolamumof3wisemen · 19/12/2009 22:03

he holds breath, he is so strong i can't physically restrain him worry he will hurt himself he kicks and thrashes about. he is foaming at the mouth. It is just sooooo extreme. Terry is going to film it actually for HV to see as i don't think anyone believes us!!

maxybrown · 19/12/2009 22:06

Oh yes that's a good idea about filming him. Can you just leave him or does he "come after" you as it were? My brother used to go white, eyes roll back and pass out with pure temper when he was a toddler, literally knock himself out!! he is completely fine now....but as I have said before has a strong temper - you wouldn't want to cross him, but he is a lovely man too.

OP posts:
janxmas · 19/12/2009 22:07

Oh Nicola - that is scary. It is a control think to freak you out?...I have heard of another child doing that, but the foaming - does he do that at nursery?
