guild sorry, off topic! did you say your DD has a scooter?? im thinking of getting DD one of these for her 3rd birthday....i have no idea if its good though,i saw some kids on them at marwell and they looked cool...what does your DD use?

also, the b-agile looks good, but my heart belongs to the BJCM Grin

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 19:09

you should ask on the 'for sale' board, you'll get more people looking at that Smile

Honeydragon · 21/06/2011 19:15

Friggfrigg they are brilliant and if you use the 20% code for jo maneb bebe you can get one for £40 delivered SPA48 is the code Smile

i FRIGGIN LOVE YOU HONEY!!!Grin thanks!!

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 19:56

Yes that's the scooter that my daughter has. It's taken her maybe 6 months to really get good at it, (she was only just two when she got it though) but she's now able to whizz along and lean to steer. The MB freerider works on the same lean to steer principle ie the handle doesn't turn. They are stable with having two wheels at the front.

The Britax is apparently better than the BJCM. However I twigged this afternoon that the photos of the B-Agile has three wheels whereas the Oz version ie the Steelcraft Agile has four wheels. The reason I am swapping my BJCM is to get four wheels! Doh!

Honeydragon · 21/06/2011 20:18

I got one for dd when Jo Mamen had the last offer on, its hiding away ready for Xmas / 2nd birthday. DS had one although he is on a JD Bugg now and terrifying me regularly Hmm

They are never reduced so its a cracking offer, as you can see from Friggs reaction Grin

I need to get a scooter for DD but being so small it might be a while before she can manage one...I want a Micro one as everyone around here will have cheapy ones from Argos...Mind you better keep my eye on it so it doesn't get pilfered!!! Too many colors to choose from, what if DD didn't like my choice??? Think it'd be for her 4th birthday as i'm getting her a lovely doll's house for her 3rd birthday...Plus have plans for her 18th already Smile

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 20:45

Oh just choose her one and give her it now for the summer :o! Like I said my daughter is whizzing on one now at 2 and 3/4's. Hubby has to run to keep up!

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 20:49

i know! i really wanted the neon one...but for a difference of £30 (with a bag) i really couldnt justify it Grin
i am going to jazz it up a bit with some funky ribbons though Grin

fairimum · 21/06/2011 21:20

have tried to pay and post on the other firum but keep getting an error message :(

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 21:20

Great news...I've got a tracking number for my Flyer which is being sent by Fedex...The Indie is also on it's way but by USPS but their tracking system isn't working at the moment...The seller said he used UPS so i'm a bit annoyed as i bet the USPS is a cheaper option than a courier.

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 21:31

hurrah!! im so glad suzie! FINALLY!
i really want a flyer now,its top of my list...
im hoping to use it for DS whilst DD scoots on her new scooter!Grin (only when shes in a good moodGrin)

i still loving the contours,i mean it has its faults BUT i THINK its as close to perfect for what i want as can be... still lust after the BJCS but guild informs me its heavy to push now that the kiddos are getting bigger,so.....i wont....but,i'll probably get a duet or a +one at some point, once DS can defend himself!

i need to get the MB up on ebay im so bored of putting buggys on ebay....but i like buying new ones too much to stop Grin

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 21:38

Once my Flyer arrives i'll list my linen Vigour 4+...No more to list after that unless i sell that vintage Mothercare i bought recently but i think it's best to keep a smallish rear facer plus i don't mind leaving it in the greenhouse so it's not taking up any space indoors.

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 21:54

It's good it is on the way Suzie. FriggFRIGG honestly enjoy your Contours. The quality is better on the BJCS but you essentially get the same as a BJCS but cheaper and easier to push. I need to EBay lots of bits and pieces that I didn't get chance to do at the weekend. But I decided to do a mad spring clean instead today!

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 22:10

suzie someone wants you over here

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 22:13

She PM'd me in the end as i was out most of yeterday...So all sorted out Smile

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 22:37

Never seen one of those before...Mind you there's way too many pushchairs on the market these days...Years ago i knew most of the models on sale...Do you look at random pushchairs a lot on eBay??? I never have as i wouldn't know what words to put in the dialog box.

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 22:48

no i just occasionally go to 'pushchairs' and then 'browse this category'

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 22:53

Lol you just sent me off to do the same. You guys really are a terrible influence!

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 22:56

I'm best not browsing at all...I've always fancied an old style Bebecar...They had amazing suspension.

Honeydragon · 21/06/2011 22:57

Oh fuck....theres a frog down the road from me Sad

OP posts:
fairimum · 21/06/2011 23:18

so where else can i search for a vigour? have tried, ebay, freeads, preloved and gumtree - any other places worth looking?? :)

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 23:20

Arrghh I have just been told that there is a 4 wheeled B-Agile too! I think it could now be interesting!

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 23:25
