Evidently the Indie has been shipped today but no tracking number given so best email again.

Honeydragon · 20/06/2011 23:06

I thought they promised you tracking details?

OP posts:
suzie38 · 20/06/2011 23:12

Well not until it's been shipped plus i did it outside Ebay via Paypal...Think mostly because it saves the seller eBay fees as he offers $20 off if you do it over the phone...Couldn't do that because my credit card is linked to my parents address so couldn't risk the buggy going there...My mum would kill me!!!

fairimum · 20/06/2011 23:14

Hi Suzie another vigour question - do both the 3 adn the 3+ have a bucket seat? also is the 3 a nightmare to get the seat on adn off? over researching i think! thanks :)

Honeydragon · 20/06/2011 23:15

Damn nuisance Mums with all their reasonable comments about our bad habits Grin

Still Paypal protects you if it gets unreasonably delayed.

suzie38 · 20/06/2011 23:17

Yes they both have bucket seats, it's the B Smart that doesn't...The seat on the original vigour is fiddlier to put on and off but depends how often you're going to be doing it...Whereas the Vigour+ i can do it with DD still sitting in it, though i know that'd be a no no in the instruction booklet.

suzie38 · 20/06/2011 23:20

Hee hee...My dad never batted an eyelid when he took DD to the park today in the Oyster...My mum would have been all questions!!! She spotted the Donkey straight away even though DH assured me she wouldn't notice the strange looking buggy with a basket on the side due to their commoness!!! Wink [wunk]

fairimum · 20/06/2011 23:21

ooo might need to look at the 3+ then? any other differences between the 2? do you notice it not having air tyres on the +?? need it for bumpy fields... is the seat really small on the 3? sorry for so mnay questions!

suzie38 · 20/06/2011 23:25

I put the air tyres onto one of the Vigour+ as it's far better with air tyres...Just like pushing a Bugaboo to be honest so smooth and light...Seats are exactly the same size...The only difference is the way they connect to the frame...Other difference is the adjustable footrest...Having had Bugaboos with fixed footrests i fancied a change...Though they don't come fully upright in my experience.

suzie38 · 20/06/2011 23:26

Peekaboo window on the Vigour.

Honeydragon · 20/06/2011 23:27

Well I prefer the 3+ as I'm not a huge fan of air tyres (weirdo) and its's brilliant of road. Certainly got me through all the snow last year.

Anyway nite nite...Any other questions i can answer in the morning...Au revoir Smile

fairimum · 20/06/2011 23:41

Thank you :) Sure I will come up with some more!!! ooo the only other thing is how big it folds? assume in 2 pieces? bigger than the cam folded? - hmm shame i cant have a 3+ with the air tyres! lol

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 07:06

Well length wise it's shorter folded due to the long handle part on the Cameleon...Discovered last week when showing a lady the Vigour+ that the seat fits quite neatly into the folded frame making it not too big...I'll measure up later when DD is up.

fairimum · 21/06/2011 07:26

thank you! :)

fairimum · 21/06/2011 07:38

hmmm so are you saying the 'ideal' vigour would be the 3+ with the 3 wheels? don't think OH would be liking that idea!! lol other than the wheels and foot rest is there anything else 'better' about the 3 over the 3+? Def think we need the air tyres though... final thought is where Can I get a liner for it?? lol

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 08:18

The folded dimensions with seat unit nestling is 98cm long, 63cm wide and 40cm deep...Obviously less if you take the wheels off...Around 52cm wide with wheels taken off...Rest of measurements stay true to be honest...Smaller dimensions if you stow the seat seperately...Yes best combo is a Vigour and a Vigour+...Obviously your 3 choice needs to be the seat unit you want best then a 3 or 4 wheeled version doesn't matter so much as it's the wheels you're mostly wanting...So i have Vigour 3 in turquoise, Vigour 4+ in red and then i bought one in linen as i prefered the color!!!

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 08:20

They all push the same with great suspension though as i said i do prefer the feel of the air tyres...They all fold the same, the only difference is the way the seat units attach plus adjustable footrest.

FriggFRIGG · 21/06/2011 08:53

is that your turquoise vigour 3 suzie?

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 09:10

Yes it probably is...But no idea if anymore are listed.

SaltNSauce · 21/06/2011 12:57

I loved the shopping basket on the vigour-massive and if I remember rightly the handle can be folded away very neatly when the pushchair is folded. I had one without air tyres which is great for not getting punctures but slightly harder to push with a larger child in.

fairimum · 21/06/2011 13:09

I just need to find a local one now :) lol

Guildfordnanny · 21/06/2011 14:07

I don't know if you remember but I was looking at a pushchair I liked the look of but it was only available abroad - the Steelcraft Agile. I followed it up with Britax after someone on my Facebook page told me it was coming to the UK. It is the new Britax B-Agile and I have had a report from a retailer today that it is excellent - they said probably much better and more comfortable than the Baby Jogger City Mini - which is probably it's biggest rival. I don't believe the fold is one handed, although it is a similar pull handle system, because you also have a release button. I love the City Mini so feel quite excited about this, if it is deemed as being better. I am off now to watch some You Tube videos to decide whether to switch my BJCM 4 wheel order for the B-Agile....and to see whether the fold is one or two handed.

suzie38 · 21/06/2011 17:13

To be honest i'd stick with the 4 wheeled BJCM...The Britax doesn't look any better to me...Looks a bit cheap in comparison if i'm honest.

fairimum · 21/06/2011 19:00

Soooo does anyone live in/near Berkshire and was to sell me a black vigour 3 (or 3+ with 3 wheels!) - or that wants to post me one? :)
