OP posts:
Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 22:43

Oh no...forget that...it says they cant ship abroad on the Orbits :((( Where have you found that will ship?

aswellasyou · 09/07/2011 22:53

suzie, if you can't find anywhere to ship to the UK, you could try ebay.com instead. There are loads being sold on there so you might find someone willing to ship to the UK.

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 23:08

Can only find PishPoshBaby online, i've come across them before but i can't find any info about shipping overseas...I've also heard of strollermama but they can't ship Orbit baby overseas...I'm struggling to find the bean one bacause all you get when you google is Rowan Atchinsons Mr Bean!!!

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 23:11

Via Amazon a supplier there says they will ship but i'm waiting on email confirmation...But shipping is stated as $475 which is silly money!!! I'm watching a couple on eBay but would like the black one so i can buy the color packs...Well the Amazon one sells with a color pack for $870.

Guildfordnanny · 10/07/2011 11:06

How exciting Suzie. It's my babys first birthday this week and I thought I would share his main present A Puky Ceeti. It's a bigger than normal push along trike (longer wheelbase) with large footrests but it's designed more as a replacement pushchair as well as a trike with a pushchair type handle and large shopping bag. we thought it was rather cool.

aswellasyou · 10/07/2011 11:13

I like that it's got a proper shopping basket, and that you can remove it to carry your shopping into the house. I also like the fold down handle and seat so it takes up less room than normal ones. Can you fit it in your car boot? I'm sure you'll he'll be really pleased with his present!Grin

saoirse86 · 10/07/2011 11:14

I really like the look of those. I like how it would wean me off having a shopping basket! And it's good how the parent's handle is detachable.
I like this one in York.

Guildfordnanny · 10/07/2011 11:18

Lol you could have shown me that one before we spent nearly £200!! Its not far away! However we would still have got the one we did because it is bigger so we hoped would last longer. But that one is obviously an earlier model with the big foot rests.

aswellasyou · 10/07/2011 11:22

Saoirse do you mostly like the price?[hwink] It's nowhere near as good as yours Guildford. Are you going to branch out into the tricycle market on Best Buggy?[hgrin]

Guildfordnanny · 10/07/2011 11:28

It's a distinct possibility when the Ceeti is marketed as a pushchair replacement. We already have pull along trucks and trolleys on there! The Taga will go on there at some point and probably the Babboe (or however you spell it!) as it's a way of transporting multiple children which is really what what we specialise in at the minute.

aswellasyou · 10/07/2011 12:28

I've just had a look. I didn't realise how many non-pushchairs you had on there!

Tabitha8 · 10/07/2011 13:14

Suzie I chose the colour Vita, as it was in stock.

suzie38 · 10/07/2011 14:14

I might get a Vita Flite as the pink looks really nice and the pale blue on my Flyer is so dirty where DD feet rub against it as i get her in...I've ordered a footmuff/liner to bypass the problem.

suzie38 · 10/07/2011 14:15

I'm avoiding any form of push tricycle as it'll impact on my use of buggies and i've only got a max of years left with them...DD can ride tricycles and bikes after that!!!

MonkeysPunk · 10/07/2011 18:24

Just had to put in a warranty request with Mb for my swift. The secondary lock spring has somehow unwound itself leaving a Sharp wire sticking out the side and meaning this secondary safety lock doesn't work. Hope its fast to get fixed.

Tabitha8 · 10/07/2011 18:34

Suzie Do you think the Vita is pink and grey? Oh dear, I'll be in trouble if it is. I thought it was red. Looking at the website, I can't tell.
I need a glass of wine. Wine.

OuchFriggingBludger · 10/07/2011 19:32

oh no tabitha....do you have a boy????!

Tabitha8 · 10/07/2011 19:37

Yep. Sure do. Oh dear.............

Tabitha8 · 10/07/2011 19:37

Now I need a bottle of wine.

MonkeysPunk · 10/07/2011 19:54

Isn't pink fashionable for boys again? Add a nice dove grey blanket for him? It will make a lovely back drop if your boy wears denim! X you could be strolling along with the coolest boy in town!

OuchFriggingBludger · 10/07/2011 20:08

ive looked at loads of pics of the vita, and the ONLY web page that gives any indication it's pink is http://www.bumbleride.com/strollers/flite-colors.php this one
is it too late to cancel and swap colours over? if you explained?
when did you but it???

OuchFriggingBludger · 10/07/2011 20:09

try again

MonkeysPunk · 10/07/2011 20:10

According to the flyer review on amazon.com vita is hot pink. Looks more strawberry to me in the pics though.
Perhaps on the coral side of hot pink.

OuchFriggingBludger · 10/07/2011 20:12

oh hot pink will be okay, wont it? my DS has clothes that are 'hot pink' they're cool Grin Wine

Tabitha8 · 10/07/2011 20:16

Trouble is, DH is going nuts over it. Anyway, Amazon will refund the return costs, and I'll order a plain boring black one!
Phew.
