shitshitshit

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 14:23

WHERE ARE YOU GUYS WHEN I NEED YOU!!

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 14:28

lol...Well i spent £900 on one!!!

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 14:30

Now i've got my eye on an Orbit even though i don't really need anymore...Anyway are you collecting it or having it posted as it was very expensive to post???

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 14:31

Yes it's been sold as i'd saved it in my list.

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 14:41

Oooooooohhhh congratulations!!! I hope you like it when it arrives :) I think it's a stunning pushchair and one I love pushing. BTW the cosy toes sound awesome. You remove the seat pad and they clip into place with the harnesses. The seat pad is soooo thick that I bet the cosy toes are gorgeous. I am really excited for you!

MonkeysPunk · 09/07/2011 14:43

Ouchfriggingbludger, what did you buy? The kobi?
Sold my mb breeze now. Had an insulting offer on my MAC xlr too...
Doing eBay while h has taken the kids out.
Need to pay cc off. Tax credits review not in my favour either. Bugger!

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 14:59

yes,the kobi!
suzie, that does make me feel a little bit better!!
Well,im hoping she'll let me arrange my own courier, because im certain i can get it cheaper than that!

im sort of excited, but right now im mainly terrified at the expense [hshock]

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 15:09

And don't forget you did get a bargain...When you're done with it you could easily sell if for maybe £800 if you look after it.

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 16:08

That's what I have said to Frigg, Suzie. The Kobi is fairly modular ie once you get the chassis and box, the seats, seat pads, small hood etc are all easy enough to replace should anyone wish to. I think Frigg has got a real bargain especially as the lsting says it's like new and includes the comfort pack and cosy toes. But it may require patience to sell at a better price Wink

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 17:23

Yes,i figured if i sold it once it was out over here, people would know about it and be searching for it,and it would get a better price.....

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 17:59

Didn't sell my Flip It because the buggy board that the lady had wouldn't fit...I'm seriously coveting a grape Orbit...It would be my 38th pushchair which is my lucky number, hence the 38 in my username...Waiting on a company emailing me back to say they do ship to the UK...Sadly the toddler car seat can't as it's be great as it rear faces to 35lbs and front faces to 65lbs which at the rate DD is growing would last her until she goes to senior school!!! But maybe if it is sold over here at some point, i might be able to buy it.

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 18:45

i liked the orbit until aswellasyou said it looked like a fetus.....

plus i dont like seperate handles....but i like the idea of it...may grow on me yet.

im super excited about the most expensive pushchair ive ever bought!!!! ive been looking at BB's photos all afternoon...really should get the kids to bed now though!! [hgrin]

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 19:40

lol...Mind you i've just discovered the postage costs!!! Don't ask Wink

Tabitha8 · 09/07/2011 20:46

Suzie I know you have a Flyer. Do you also have an Oyster? I seem to remember that you did. Anyway, if you do, could you tell me if the Oyster apron will fit on the Flyer? My Flyer is on its way! Smile

aswellasyou · 09/07/2011 20:55

Frigg, I think I've sent a PM to you but I'm not sure if it's worked. Let me know if not.
I am SO excited about you getting the Kobi!Grin I'm sure you'll be able to sell it for a profit in the future. Assuming you don't sell it in a hurry to buy something else like with the Contours of course!Wink

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 21:00

te he!!

i think i'll probably hold onto this one [hwink]

i know patience is NOT my best quality,or a quality i have in any shape or form,in fact [hgrin]
i got your PM,and i have replied [hgrin]

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 21:11

Hi Tabitha...Yes i do have an Oyster and it came with a black apron...I'm assuming you mean that rather than the plastic cover??? I'll test out tomorrow as the apron is in my DD room and she's just gone to bed...Hope you love your Flyer as much as i do...It's fantastic especially as it squashes onto the parcel shelf of my Meriva so no moving everything around in my boot...What color have you choosen???

aswellasyou · 09/07/2011 21:19

How funny. I hadn't seen your comment re patience when I accused you of being impatient in my PM![hgrin]

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 21:20

really?? it seemed so apt [hgrin]

aswellasyou · 09/07/2011 21:30

It's clearly just very true.[hwink]

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 21:37

[hgrin]

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 22:18

Suzie -try Mr Beans..or is it magic mr beans? They ship to the UK. The on screen prices are silly but if you phone them (late pm here) or e mail they will give you an accurate quote. They are very good. PishPoshbaby and strollingmama also ship to the uk.

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 22:42

Sorry I was on my phone earlier. I am now on my PC and here is the link: mbeans.com/deptmanu.php?deptid=3&manuid=46 Just out of interest how does the footrest bit work? I can't see how it can rotate out of the way and its too short for a toddler to use.
