OP posts:
OuchFriggingBludger · 08/07/2011 22:38

ahh yes,so they did....
still bloody CHEEK!!

might drop the price on mine,i just need it to sell Sad

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 22:41

I've had to drop the price on the Flip it which someones coming over to see tomorrow...She wanted to look at the linen Vigour but someone bought it before she had the chance...And dropped the price on the Go which people want sending but it's far to big and heavy to do so.

OuchFriggingBludger · 08/07/2011 22:44

cant you tell them they can sort they're own courier? i sent my MB double, and that was HUGE!!

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 22:48

It's too big to wrap and box up...I did get a giant box today with the Little Tikes Grand Maison i bought off eBay but it's at my parents house and if i flatten it and retape back here i'm not sure you'd be able to lift it without the Go making it fall apart with the weight.

OuchFriggingBludger · 08/07/2011 22:51

blimey! how much does it weigh??!

Guildfordnanny · 08/07/2011 22:51

It's a shame it has sold because you could have got EBay to remove the listing. Ho hum. Have you looked down the back of the sofa for lost pounds??

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 22:56

It's just over 15kg including the carrycot.

OuchFriggingBludger · 08/07/2011 22:56

yes...
unfortunately all i found were a few lost toys, some toast crusts from this morning (thanks Skye) and an emery board....

OuchFriggingBludger · 08/07/2011 22:58

the MB was 17KG,i think, and it was okay.... just Grin

Guildfordnanny · 08/07/2011 23:06

I have sent things heavier than that TBH through Parcel2Go. With them it's anything over 1m that bumps the price up. For those I go straight to the Parcelforce website as they don't ask for a size ;)

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 23:09

Well the box i got this morning is just over 1.1m long as that's the length of the house...I have a box still from a Vigour but doubt it'll fit in that...Thinking of bubble wrapping and plastic bagging the linen Vigour as one of mine arrived that way.

Guildfordnanny · 08/07/2011 23:17

After trying to bodge a pushchair in a box that wasn't the original, I find bubble wrap and bin liners works much better and looks neater!

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 23:23

It'll work with the Vigour because the seat slots neatly into the folded chassis...Don't think it'll work with the Go because of the carrycot that doesn't collapse down.

fairimum · 08/07/2011 23:25

Hi Susie - Think we are missing soemthing folding our vigour!! How does the seat slot into the folded chassis??
lol
thanks :)

suzie38 · 08/07/2011 23:27

It just kind of sits inside and makes quite a neat package...Didn't realise until i was showing it to a potential buyer as i rarely folded mine...She didn't buy as it wouldn't fit in her Clio boot.

fairimum · 08/07/2011 23:36

hmmmm we are not fighting with the vigour - lol just not making it work! lol

Guildfordnanny · 08/07/2011 23:41

Hmm have you just seen that Quinny have pulled their Senzz Quinnycasters literally hours after announcing the winners online (the winners knew the day before)? Some people had already sold their pushchairs in anticipation of their Senzz arriving :( Its a shame Quinny wont just postpone....

suzie38 · 09/07/2011 07:19

That's weird, why would they suddenly stop people testing them??? I met a local buggy addict as i bought a ride on toy off her via eBay...She bought a Senzz from Germany at least 9 months ago, but as is usual for her, sold it after a short while...Strange fact, she bought a Bee Plus off eBay that i'd had my eye on...What's the chance of that??? Later on she sold that, regretted it and wanted to buy my Bee Plus when i was selling it, but didn't have the money.

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 08:45

thats really weird,i mean, why would they do that??? [hsad]

i have had an offer on the contours....really quite low.....but i might accept it because it does bring me quite close to the total i need,id only need to find another £80.....however i was hoping to get a bit more as its DD's birthday soon...

i dont know what to do.

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 10:47

They say it's because of production issues and will not fit their time scales (??). I thought the Senzz was already onnsale? There's certainly been / are some on EBay. Frigg, wait and see if you get any more offers or counter offer? You have X amount of hours to accept. Can you find the remainder?

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 10:48

Why dont you talk to the Kobi lady and see if she will hold it for a deposit??

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 11:03

i already asked if she'd hold it for a (more than half the total price) deposit, but she just never replied Sad

i have sort of found the extra(borrowed money),and ive made her the best offer i can,ie, x amount of money and i can pay you now,but im really worried as if she doesnt accept,im not allowed to make another offer, ive used up all 3!!

Guildfordnanny · 09/07/2011 11:10

:( re not replying. When does the counteroffer expire?

OuchFriggingBludger · 09/07/2011 11:18

it expired last night,i made a new offer this morning, its the last one ive got.

the offer on the contours was made at midnight,so i have a little while to decide, basically,if the mima offer is accepted,i'll accept the offer on the contours....

fairimum · 09/07/2011 13:46

does OH have an ebay account if you need to make another offer?
