Which is the best option?

They are all in a similar part of the city it terms of proximity to motorways and railway stations-Which would you go for and why? One is mine and I want to know how it compares to other properties of the same sizes

Without knowing the area I like number 1 best, it's more to my taste and I would want to change the kitchen in the other two. Also looks to have more outside space.

Bells3032 · 31/07/2020 15:52

I think i'd go for one. the rooms are bigger and looks more spacious

Talia78 · 31/07/2020 15:52

I think first house for me

Aquamarine1029 · 31/07/2020 15:53

Number one for me.

Kote · 31/07/2020 15:54

Either 1 or 3

ArriettyJones · 31/07/2020 15:54

I’m not too keen on the mock Tudor facade of #3.

Other than that there’s not much to choose. It’s a matter of personal preference when you’re choosing between two broadly similar things, I think.

Nanasueathome · 31/07/2020 15:55

First one

reefedsail · 31/07/2020 15:56

Number 1 just on the house. Then 3, then 2.

However, location is important and 1 looks like it might be least leafy.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 31/07/2020 15:57

I also think one.

Better garden-esp if you have Dc

Which one would you pick OP?

CallmeAngelina · 31/07/2020 15:58

1 then 3 then 2

mangomama91 · 31/07/2020 15:59

Number 1 for me

scunner · 31/07/2020 16:00

I definitely like property number 1. It is a lovely home.

CrystalMaisie · 31/07/2020 16:02

Number 3, because I see clients at home and the layout works best for that.

Flamingolingo · 31/07/2020 16:02

Number one is clearly the best presented, but which is the best located? I don’t really like number 2, but could probably manage with number 3

CoffeeRunner · 31/07/2020 16:02

I like 3 best.

I’m not sure the downstairs layout 2 flows all that well, and some of their furniture does seem a bit squashed in.

1 is just like any other pristine new build. Nice enough but lacking in character.

Flynn999 · 31/07/2020 16:03

One the first one check your car actually fits down the drive and you can open the door. My drives similar and we can’t get dp’s focus down the drive and open the door! Nothing worse than an unusable drive!

2+3 seem like they need slightly more modernisation, kitchens and bathrooms all look slightly dated, so I guess number 1. Also number 1 doesn’t seem to have an overlooked garden,

Toilenstripes · 31/07/2020 16:04

Number 1, great kitchen and garden. The other two are tired, have dated decor and conservatories that aren’t very nice.

Silverstorma21 · 31/07/2020 16:06

Mumsiedarling- I would pick mine - but that’s because I wouldn’t live in area 2. Area 3 is lovely but away from any amenities and I too don’t like the mock Tudor style. However, we’ve been for sale for a month and had very few viewings (mainly those who are not proceedable) so I’m not sure if there is something putting people off?

We have catchment to the best primary and secondary in the city, 5 min from the new railway station and 5 min from motorway into Birmingham. Country park 8 min walk away and swimming pool in the blind college opposite, Waitrose 5 min walk away.

Is it the price or decor?

Number 1 for me.

SandysMam · 31/07/2020 16:07

Number 1 for me. Wow to the prices, Worcester here we come!!

SweatyAndyFromWoking · 31/07/2020 16:08

It's between 1 and 3 for me. 1 would probably win as the garden looks a bit bigger.

I don't like the layout downstairs of 2, it also needs more work (kitchen and bathrooms are more to my taste in 1 and 3 and look newer) and the garden looks smaller.

SandysMam · 31/07/2020 16:09

Didn’t give any reasons...like the bedroom with the slanted door and chair in the corner, looks like a new build but with a few cottagy features. Garden is lovely.

ShanghaiDiva · 31/07/2020 16:10

One is very nicely presented and looks well looked after.
Two needs some work eg shower , bit dated and not keen on conservatory.
Three - not keen on conservatory and also dislike the mock Tudor front.
One, three and two would be my order.

Fudgewhizz · 31/07/2020 16:10

Easily the first one - much bigger garden, nicer decor, and more practical layout. 2 I'd want to change downstairs layout which seems quite bitty and not entirely logical. It also looks lighter than the other 2.

SauvignonGrower · 31/07/2020 16:10

Agree 1 has a great layout. The others would need reconfiguration.
