Worst Estate Agent photos/details

Having spent literally months of my life trawling Zoopla, Rightmove and all the other property sites, I thought it was about time I publicised the work of some of London's finest estate agents - who obviously haven't yet worked out the point of the internet - and manage to advertise houses with an ineptitude which both baffles and astounds in equal measure.
Remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression Grin and punters are paying 1%-3% of the selling price for these "adverts".

So here's a few of my recent 'favourites' - would love to see yours too!

Is there a charge for extra pictures?

A cracking HOUSE for £225k in Shepherds Bush!

Is it possible to say any LESS about this one?

This one comes with its own shopping centre:

These are only the tip of the iceberg and not a patch on some of the ones I've seen - I'll add them as I see them if anybody's interested.

l would like to nominate this house/ agent as the most ludicrous in recent times:

Check out the 'fantastic garden'. But what really seals the deal is the fact that only two weeks ago the current owners bought it at auction for £430,000. Having done nothing to it, they are now marketing it with a well-known full-of-shite agent for a a cool £130,000 more. Having done nothing (apparently) to it.

Oops, try again:

I LOVE the description for this property.

At first I thought that the owners had got carried away and asked to write the description themselves, but having looked at other properties being marketed by the agent they are all very similar. Perhaps someone in the agency dreamt of a career as a writer Hmm

The brochure is even more "interesting"

"It was in beautiful Burwell that Emma and Peter Whitmore found the perfect home in which to welcome their friends"

I'm intrigued by the three couples mentioned in the description. Do they only have these friends? Why did they need to stay at the same time (car keys in the fruit bowl spring to mind)? What happened to them once they had children?

narmada · 02/06/2011 20:35

That's hilariously bad. The swingers analogy also came to my mind when I was reading it.

this one comes with a highly sought-after, photograph-worthy..... bush. The one interior photo, meanwhile, is terrible.

Cheap or What!

OMG, I think I may actually throw up after reading the description of the house in Barwell.

Mind you, I bet Emma would offer you a very pretty cup cake if you went of a viewing.

GrendelsMum · 05/06/2011 18:04

Narmada's one is hilarious
