i got my phone call, saying they were confirming delivery on tues, I just kept quiet, then she said ' so thats one bed then, on tuesday'

methinks it will not be a bed tho.

I've had my phonecall confirming delivery on Monday, lady said it was a bed but I'm not confident

well, it was a drawer, so dh has sent it back. hve emailed them to complain, waiting for a call now!

did he tel driver to take it back?

i just looked at their options for cancelling an order and there is no option.

May I just ask - those who have received a drawer did you order double or king?

I ordered both, but I noticed that the option for double was "bedstead with drawer" but for king the option was "extra drawer" even though it wasn't clear it was just a drawer and the confirmation email clearly says "bedstead with storage"

I ordered both and ended up with two drawers so doesn't make any difference.

Can't beleive I've just spent the last half hour following this thread!!!

i think lissie only ordered a double and she got a drawer aswell.

I ordered a leappad and three games from here in feb, it came with headphones, a rucksack, and was delivered free - £5 and they did honour it.

well, had this email reply today:

Thank you for your email about your recent order.

On checking our records it does show that catalogue number WV57012 was quoted at the time of ordering which is for a set of drawers and not a bed.

so i shall call them in a bit.

Hi Lissie....the woman we rang asked us for the catalouge numbers which were on invoice, she confirmed that these were drawers not beds but DH said that on the internet site, we didn't place an order using a catalogue number, we ordered using the options boxes which were bedstead and extra drawer etc which was there fault not ours....... it seemed to work as they have promsed to send beds as contract had been formed.

Forgot to say Lissie, that this was the same catalogue number that we had come through on the invoice but said we didn't order using this number, we ordered 'bedstead with storage'.

Dh took a phone call last night to see if our bed could be delivered on Tuesday. No one will be in then so they have arranged delivery for the 23rd.
I'm thinking that it will be drawers like the rest of you though

mine isnt due till august, as i ordered the walnut...just interested to hear if anyone has actually got thie bed yet?

What I don't understand about this, is the fact that they have now been aware of the mistake for some time, yet have not contacted all customers to explain that they will be receiving a drawer not a bed - surely if they emailed everyone who ordered it would save them a lot of money by not couriering all these drawers back and forth to the warehouse?!??
