Whitgift 11+ 2025 entry

I'm starting a new thread for those with children who are sitting for the 10+ Trinity and Whitgift exams this year.

Keen not be in this journey alone and hopefully share in the experience with others.

I have reread the email. The Whitgift email says “Interview invitations will start to be emailed in batches from Friday 10 January.” So this means not everyone might hear at the same time and maybe they tell some people next week. (also from previous years' threads in MumsNet) If rejections, "Boys who have not been selected for an interview will be advised by email as soon as possible.." If anyone hears anything, please post it here. These waits are nerve-wracking. Good luck everyone!!

@HopefulDad19 the wait is excruciating! the only thing to stress me out this much is our house purchase haha

We received ours on the 8th Jan. Check your spam just in case. If it’s still not there, then it might be worth calling the admissions team.

Did you find out what the pass mark is for academic scholarship? I assume boys would be invited to an academic scholarship interview today? Is that how it works?

I haven’t heard anything about the academic scholarship unfortunately, so no idea on the threshold they are using this year. Does anyone else know more about this?

For the Whitgift 11+ academic scholarship, is it assessed in the interview, or is there a separate invitation to another assessment day?

Trinity sent out interview invite mid last week .. son has his next week.
Anyone with experience to suggest what to expect?

WisedUpMumOfTwo is it for 10 plus? , we didn't hear any interview dates for 11

I’d also like to know this, as I’m not quite sure. I’ve heard from others that they assess within the interview, but there is a bit of a clue with who’s interviewing you (especially if they are in the executive leadership team). I’m not sure how reliable this is by the way…

Yes. This is for 11+. We have been called for interview on Tuesday morning, and a chat with the headmaster.
