Ooh I used to live in Livingston (when I was young) and more recently Broxburn!!

lilacclaire · 16/08/2009 21:00

Ds is going with his snack in his lunch box (him), a water bottle with diluting orange in it (I think they get water bottles but not 100%), gym shoes, pencil case. I know he won't need the gym shoes, but he's been helping me pack!

bargainhuntingbetty · 16/08/2009 21:02

Ooooh Haggis, I have always lived in Livingston, maybe out paths have crossed.

aGalChangedHerName · 16/08/2009 21:05

Betty we are at Peel Primary. Please feel free to tell me to bog off

We have to have gym shoes at school all the time as it's open pla.

HaggisNeepsnTatties · 16/08/2009 21:06

Maybe!! Although it is far bigger now that what it was when I was young! I went to St Andrews in Howden....??

aGalChangedHerName · 16/08/2009 21:06

I have seen a few folk on here from Livingston but i don't usually mention it,sorry Betty

bargainhuntingbetty · 16/08/2009 21:08

No way, We are at Peel Primary as well. I have one going into p4 and one going into p2

bargainhuntingbetty · 16/08/2009 21:09

why you sorry??

Chooster · 16/08/2009 21:09

Can I join the hand holding! DS1 starts P1 on thursday so a few days after most here... He's only in for one and a half hours for the first 2 days then half day til end September ish... Feel kind of OK about it but I know I'll be a bit of wreck when I see him disappear as he's a very gentle wee soul and will be anxious! And I wont be there to hold his hand and make him feel better!

sweetkitty · 16/08/2009 21:11

Don't know about gym stuff, she was given a special drawstring bag with a school T-shirt in it on a visit and has her gym shoes and shorts in it, I am assuming they won't have gym on the first day as it's so short.

Don't know about a water bottle now might just leave it. DD1 will be a nightmare with a water bottle, she will drink it in 2 mins flat then need the toilet every 5 minutes.

expat - losing her first baby tooth aww, I hope the tooth fairy has been on duty tonight, DD1 cannot wait to lose hers, keeps telling me they are wobbly. Don't talk to me about being broody DD3 is 13 months now.

We're in Lanarkshire BTW
