I thought I'd set up a new thread for those sitting 4+ in 2024 for September 2025 start date.

Any tips for prepping?

What schools are people considering?

does anyone know if the UCS waitlist has started moving yet?

Long-time lurker here but just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the mums that have shared tips/encouragement along the way! Our DD was on the WL for Channing and we received a call on Wednesday morning to say she now has an offer (which we have accepted).

Hope others on WLs have had similar luck!

P.S. We sent our DD to a local nursery when she turned 2 (not a feeder), started “prepping” her in October with the usual activities (eg cutting, colouring, simple counting, writing her name, lots of reading - not that we weren’t already doing all those things long before, but it just got a little bit more purposeful) - no external tutoring.

Did anyone's DD secure a place at GHS? If so, how were the assessments?

Hello, has anyone heard of any movements with the WL for Grimsdell? Their acceptance deadline is today.

Thanks to all mums for their support. My dd was on waiting list for Putney High and has also now received an offer. Goodluck to all who are on waiting list :)
