I know it’s a little later than usual but here it is! #letsdothis

In previous years I have started these threads to help and support all those involved in the independent school admissions process.

I wasn't going to start one this year as I know I would not be able to check back on it as regularly as I would like, which then defeats the purpose of the thread.

However, after numerous positive PM's about the threads I think it would be a shame not to start one where at least the hand holding can continue. 🤝

There are many many people who have been through the process and 'live to tell the tale' . There are also other tutors I know who read this thread and it would be great if you all could help and support and share your ideas

They phoned us, but phone them! and email them post the phone call so they know you are keen! Good luck!

Has anyone come off a wait list at Highgate? I’m waiting on 4+ boys and my friend is waiting on 7+ boys. Anyone hear anything yet? So nerve wracking!

I know Highgate 2 boys and 1 girl declined 7/8th only - so maybe call them tomorrow

I declined DS’s highgate 4+ as well. He’s summer born. Good luck.

the highgate list closed before noon yesterday as they said they had filled the class... unless anyone has cancelled after paying the deposit its unlikely to move.

Hi @Mumteacher1 my dd will be attending the assessment for NLCS and HABS
she is very confident in her nursery but sometimes needs a bit of extra attention in a new environment what do you recommend both the assessment are in Jan 2024 so we do have a few days, please if you can advise and also if you can resend the thread about your tips
