7+ exam

Anybody taking the 7+ exam this year? I have noticed there isn't a thread on it this year. We are going to be trying for St Paul's and Kings. At the moment we are really struggling with the comprehension. Anybody else in the same boat?

Yes tomorrow - both 7+ and 8+.... fingers crossed....

We haven't heard from WUS yet.

Did call SPJ about waitlist position and they mentioned that we've moved up in the waiting list

@puzzledmom I’m sure the waitlist for SPJ will move quicker from next week on. Did they tell you what no on the waitlist you are.

WUS said they’d revert end of day Friday so I guess could be similar to last time between 4-5pm? Unless they’ve mentioned otherwise after.

@muminwood we're no. 3 now. Yes the registrar did say that things will move once WUS result is out.

Having said that, someone on this thread mentioned that they over-offered quite a bit ... let's see; fingers crossed!

SPJ is known to send waitlist offers as late as May sometimes. Inspite of over offers, you still have a good chance I would say.

@SoNervousForHim great to know I was not alone to have such impression. To be honest, really not sure the purpose of the parents interview …

@puzzledmom, I know a few families who are still deciding re: Kings vs St Paul’s. One family is about to drop SPJ offer so I hope you’ll get a place!

@puzzledmom might be because of the hammersmith bridge situation thus making it less attracting plus similar results to Kings.

Last year, WUS offers were received on the Friday just before 3pm. Those who were not given a place received the email later in the day.

@2minutesplease Thank you very much. Yes we are thinking to accept it. Probably on Monday we will be dropping our Kings and St. Paul’s offers.

I think we will take the weekend to make a decision, although based on discussion with DH yesterday we will probably go with WUS.

@londonswmum it's a difficult decision for sure but we are leaning more towards SPJ for now :)
