DD starting pre-school 2.5 hours a day on 11th September ..she will be 3.4 .. I will be starting my campaign for them to take her full time in Nursery on 12th Sept

it is REAL school .. it is pre-school .. they have 10 full-time places .. I want one .. she's ready

dd2 starts reception class this september! Hoorah! Both dc will out of my hair everyday! Cant wait!

dd1 starts in January, I have deferred her (she is just four) so I would like to hear your stories
pls no-one tell me I have lumbered her with a life long disadvantage by deferring her for a term because I got that from FIL yesterday

I deferred DS1's school nursery place to January, Harpsi. For all sorts of reasons that would exasperate Cod

Both of my 2 dds where ready for school long before they could actually start legally! I could never even contemplate a defer, just was not an option for my dc.

yes I think dd1 will benefit from staying at preschool for a bit longer.

dd1 who will be 4 and a half. Two half days, one with lunch to start her off then full time from 10th September.
No lounging on sofa for me as dd2 now 7 months. Will be lounging in her naps.

It's just such a fantastic relief to not have to drag dd1 and dd2 up to school when I take ds and then back out again when dd1 goes to nursery at 12.30 then again at 3 and then sometimes again at 4 when ds had a club.

ds is now going to juniors which is at a different site. I would have liked him and dd1 to have spent some time together at the same school.

still waiting for m&S delivery for dd's uniform. Although it's practically the same as what she wore for nursery so don't think she'll be too excited. She's still got the same cardigan she's been wearing all year.

dd2 is taking the opportunity to point at everything she's ever wanted in the shops and say "Can I have that for school". Up to and including moonsand and butterkist

dd wants a new lunchbox. Probably Disney princesses. I bought her a gorgeous one from Gap ages ago in preparation but have just realised it's mahoosive and won't fit on the classroom shelves.
