Primary admissions 2018

Is there an anxiously awaiting primary school places thread yet?
One week to go and it’s all I can think about. We are on Easter holidays from pre school and it’s going so so slow waiting.
Does anyone know what time we find out?

Or - it says online admissions doesn't have my result, do you think I'll get an email later this evening with the result?

You only used on what of your choices- is that because you were guaranteed a place?

There's only the one school I'd like him to go to

Are you home schooling or going independent if he doesn't get a place?

Is it a local school danger. Are you in the usual catchment (or within the distance?)

Was there any evidence that may have been missed that you needed to provide- medical, church etc?

Its a local school, 1.3km away, if he doesn't get a place he'll stay where he is as it goes through juniors, but only if he'll get a space at the new school within 6 months or so otherwise we'd have to consider private school as we are really unhappy with it.

what was the last admitted distance last year Dangermouse (not an exact science I appreciate...) but may give you an idea if there is an admin error or if they will be contacting you to make an offer of other undersubscribed school?

I am in shock...we got our first choice, which is selected via lottery!

If anyone wants advice on appeals or other admissions issues you will get a quicker response if you start your own thread, preferably with a title that makes it clear that you want help with admissions. You will get help from the various admissions experts if they see your problem. They might miss your request if it is buried amongst a load of other stuff.

Apparently bham city council server went down so that's delayed the emails
