Is there an anxiously awaiting primary school places thread yet?
One week to go and it’s all I can think about. We are on Easter holidays from pre school and it’s going so so slow waiting.
Does anyone know what time we find out?

Crikey. Its 93.14% in West Berkshire.

Looking at the stats and allocation data today has been very interesting. there are a few schools with less than 5 intake so those class sizes will be small or possibly they group the years together. There are a few with 10+ on waiting list and two schools where they couldn't place all the siblings so some of those parents will be having a logistical headache this morning. Many schools in W Berks have spaces though due to low birth year.

I'm in Birmingham still waiting! Lots of the mums at nursery had their email between midnight and 4am apparently. I checked with the school itself as I was there anyway and they were able to confirm the place for me. They did say that the emails will be sent any time until 5.15pm.

No problem, the admissions lady at school said they seem to be struggling to catch up with the late admissions this year so that might be why it's a bit later.

I’m really interested to see the info for this year, I pored over last years to help make my decisions, I want to see how it all panned out!

Any Cheshire West people know when/where the info comes out? Hope it’s not until the guidance booklet comes out for 2019 intake!

Hi MadeOfPaper, great information! thanks!! I am from Sutton Coldfield, I was thinking the birth rate has dropped a bit on 2014, but i am worrying now... so the school told you they are able to confirm a place for you, congrats! that is such a relief ! hope you will get the email very soon :)

Jessica the final data aren't known until all the appeals are heard (you'll recall that appeals heard for each school and whether they were successful appear in the information booklet) so realistically they won't be available until September, no.

I’m not sure, I don’t think so! Im almost city centre, just slightly outside across the river!

And ahh yes of course re the appeals, I’ll still enjoy reading it, it will take my mind off my one and only being at school in September!

Does anyone know if you you an an email with the result if you applied via paper application as opposed to the online application?

We are out of chronological age as we delayed starting reception by a year due to summer born premie twins but I don’t know if I have to wait for a letter on an email ! (London borough by the way)

Kent offers are on the website for those with an online account. We got our first choice - really pleased.

What’s the latest you get an email? My poor mate is tearing her hair out!!
