Is anyone else dying to find out which school they have been allocated?

This is for my PFB which makes it extra difficult for me :(

I can't talk about it in real life as it starts off as a nice casual conversation ending with some delusions of grandeur PFB nonsense

We applied for ds1 last year and I remember how nerve racking this final wait is - sadly we had to wait until the evening!

Gutted, not got our first choice which is village school less than half a mile away, but only takes 25. Have got our second choice which is best of a bad bunch and in special measures. 2.5miles away. will be appealing as dd has a health condition.

Any tips gratefully received as this is all new to me, not the best news as leave for work a 5 am and away for 6 days.

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that Just, distance is a very good standing on appeal from what I know because it takes a lot to justify sending a child so far.

Just trying I advise you to start a new thread about not getting a desired place. This thread is almost full anyway. I am sure lots will join you in the morning and Tiggy and the other experts will be along to advise everyone on next moved.
Does it say where you are on the list or the cut off distance (of other helpful info?)

Just - if you don't have the info, email requesting it. Include in your email confirmation that you want to stay on the waiting list for village school too.

God - I can't believe some of you have found out already! Congrats! Where are you geographically?

I think ours is going to make us wait til tomorrow evening - can't stand it anymore! Just want to know!
