Although I haven’t posted, as I said, I’ve been lurking for months, so feel very welcomed. We haven’t got many answers yet, just lots of questions. Deep breaths.
I hate the fact that we are going to have to go to the big busy hospital for our county at least 35 times in the next 8 weeks. I had prepped, but not for this.
He is Mr Upbeat, which is great, I adore his positivity, but needs a bit of realism too.
Our son was born in the midst of Swine Flu and we all caught it when he was about 10 weeks old. Horrendous. His respiratory consultant can’t confirm that it was that that initiated his low immunity, brittle asthma and consequent medical issues, but says it is likely.
We caught Flu A last winter and I ended up in hospital with pneumonia and pleurisy.
I was anticipating shutting us in and riding this out, but it’s all changed today.
It just goes to show, you can prep all you like, but when what you are prepping for changes, you have to change too.
Oh well back to waiting for today’s 2pm update.
