Hi everyone.... been out most of today helping my elderly MIL prep. She's as practical and concerned as us all and I wanted to help put her mind at ease by getting lots in for her. Feel better for her now.

There was NO soap at all let alone the strong stuff. I realised I had no extras for at home but fairy liquid can replace if we run out I'm sure.

I'd read new figures will be around 3pm today.

We are pulling DS out of school soon. Probably early next week. Will deal with the consequences later

Thank you I was concerned as the headlines made it sound as though it had recently mutated and the more dangerous type was spreading though the text implied the opposite which left me confused. Thanks again.

Generally I think more aggressive pathogens are selected against. They kill their hosts more often and are easier to isolate.

I don't blame you @itsnotjustflu Lessening your family's risk will help put some of your mind at rest. I wish my DH was on board with me on this.

Trying to boost my health I'm currently taking vitamin c with zinc, vitamin b12 and vitamin D, I've just ordered probiotics and oregano oil, just trying to help my body as much as I can. Seeing it's now in a city close to me, I feel like it's growing ever closer!

What’s is there to get! It’s not normal to be whipping yourselves up like this. Why don’t you put down the keyboard and go for a nice long walk out in the real world and see people going about their lives as normal. It might help keep you calm.
