A gentle thread for those starting again after a difficult pregnancy, miscarriage etc.

I've just discovered I am 5.5 weeks pregnant.

In the last 2 years I have had 2 mcs and our dd2 was stillborn at term.

So I don't feel like I fit into the antenatal threads, and don't want to frighten anyone with my experiences.

Anyone else out there who needs a gentle thread?

Hi all, wondering if Onebaby has had her baby yet.... hope she isn't kept hanging about too much.

Hi Fatheadsgirl Congratulations! Have you been able to get an early scan given your history? I was able to get my GP to request one at 8 weeks for me. It may make the long strtech to 12 weeks a bit more manageable.

Kcoffin as things all seem to be going in the right direction will you still be having a C-section or will you have the option of a vaginal delivery if you wanted it?

woolyjo I am seeing the consultant on monday, however Ithink I willstill be having a section as this is what was decided before the baby was breech or the placenta problem. This is just based on the fact that I had my 2 sons by section.
How is your little bundle of joy doing? Hope onebaby is ok

Well ladies - OneBabyPlease received her much longed for baby order at 12.02pm on Friday!

Our beautiful, amazing son Emin was born weighing 7lb 14oz. He is gorgeous, handsome & ours! Just can't believe our luck! He's perfect.

The C-sec was everything I could have wished for - calm, relaxed & peaceful, DH was great.

After 3 mc & 4.5 years of ttc I hope we can offer some hope to those of you who have suffered loss.

Thanks so much for all your posts & support - you've been fantastic. I'm loving being a Mummy! Will let you know how we get on!

Hi everyone!

Today I've had bleeding and lots of it. Went to hospital and after blood tests, two urine tests and a rather painful internal exam they're not sure whats happening with me yet. Could go either way apparently. So I'm off work all week now. DP wouldn't even let me carry coke bottles home or pick up my 3 yr old. So now I'm sofa bound.

Have a scan on Thursday to see what's going on, so worried. GP might refer me to a MC clinic too just waiting on appoinment to see him first.

Thanks so much for all your kind thoughts everyone - Emin, DH & I are having a wonderful time together. I feel fantastic really & very mobile considering the c-sec so we had our first little trip to the supermarket today! A bit like a military operation trying to get out the door but we made it!

Hi guys,

Just got back from the EPU after an internal scan, another internal exam and more blood and urine tests they've told me its a MC

Both me and DP are absolutely gutted. Am making an appointment with my GP to referred to the MC clinic now as its happened now three times in a row.

oh fatheadsgirl I'm so sorry (big hugs). I know how terrible you must be feeling and there's nothing I can say that will help that. I hope you get sorted at the mc clinic. I'm thinking of you.

So sorry fatheadsgirl - how awful for you. I too had 3 mc in a row, I had some tests after & was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder (Factor V Leiden)- hope you get some answers too & a bfp again soon. Thinking of you, take it easy xx

Onebaby - you made it! Literally! Huge congratulations. I'm utterly delighted for you. Enjoy that gorgeous baby boy and look after yourself.

Fatsheadgirl - so sorry to hear things didn't work out for you. We've all been there and it's devastating so my thoughts are with you....but I do hope some of the recent posts on here will offer some hope for you.

I am still pregnant, coming up to 9 weeks. Very sick though so not about on MN much at the moment.

Seren is now 6 weeks old and doing well, we have just passed the anniversary of Niamh's stillbirth so only really coming up for air now.
